I wouldn’t change anything about the house or grounds. My party consisted of only my girlfriend and me. So we had lots and lots of room.The view of the lake was beautiful from inside the den through lots of windows or outside on the dock. Sunsets were really pretty almost every evening. We even caught a nice catfish from the dock.

This was our second year staying at this house for a long weekend and we’ll definitely be back again!

Sunset Peninsula at Lake Martin was perfect. Our family enjoyed staying here so much. Matt and Ansley always answered our questions quickly. What a great place to stay.

Great place to enjoy the lake!

Wonderful place to enjoy the water and beautiful views in a serene quiet setting. It is near town which makes it easy to get provisions and grab something to eat. The property is level with no steps and directly on the water. The owners are very accommodating. Our next year’s visit is already booked!

We have enjoyed staying at this property multiple times. Our family have made some of the best memories here at Sunset Peninsula. We love the huge family room. Everything was perfect for our stay. I guess we are kinda hooked.

This was the perfect place for our family. The space the house provides in the living area was outstanding. The views were spectacular. The outside water toys were a hit with EVERYONE. We took 2 boats with us and had ample dock space for two. Host was fantastic to work with, The entire family has said “this is our new spot for our annual family LM trip”. The grands said “this IS the new Waterhouse”.

This is a wonderful lake house for our grown kids and spouses to celebrate my husband's birthday. We hope to return soon when everyone's schedules clear at the same time again. The outdoor space, which is what is important to us, is amazing. The swim area, quiet slough, kayak, water pad, paddle board and decks were well used by our group. We had absolutely beautiful weather and it is where we spend the majority of our trip. Having three King beds and two queen beds (plus many more) was perfect for our group of 8 adults. The kitchen was well stocked as was the games. The living area, mostly windows looking at the lake, had the most seating I have ever seen....and the view- WOW! The leatherish couches were not my favorite but others in our group liked them and I enjoyed the other fabric couch and arm chairs. If you like to sit and watch TV (we turned it on one time in 4 days) they have you covered with a very large one. Our absolute favorite..... sitting on the lake front deck, in the Adirondack chairs, on the peninsula, watching the sunset and looking at the stars. We sat there drinking coffee in the morning too. You can see the fire tower from the front porch sitting also. If you are looking for a modern, minimally stocked rental- this is not for you. If you want a lake house that is stocked because the family actually uses it, where things are thought about for everyday functioning- book Sunset Peninsula.

The house was really nice and clean! It was perfect for our Lake Martin vacation.

The accommodations are spacious and outside docks and seating are great for family fun. Everything we needed for a wonderful week was provided. Owners are gracious and easy to work with. We reserve from year to year so that we won’t miss out on this piece of paradise.

This house is the perfect vacation place for family. Lots of comfy space inside and out. The living area is beyond fabulous - with 2 enormous sitting areas. Very child/baby friendly- so many things at the house that saves guest from having to pack. All if outside things was awesome also- kayaks, paddle board, large mat to float on. We will definitely be returning! Matt is very responsive and super nice.

This is our 5th year staying here. It’s like coming home each summer. We enjoy it as much as possible.
