North of Huntsville Al. We are tucked into a Tennessee "holler" with very few neighbors & lots of privacy. Welcome to my Farm! Come and stay in my Sunset Hillside Cabin. The stress of the world is left behind as you smell the privet & clover while sitting on your private deck watching the creek roll by. My horses will greet you if you choose to take a stroll around the farm where you will likely see deer & turkey among other wildlife. My Hillside Cabins are secluded in a "holler" with no zero ambient light so our privacy along with stargazing is second to none.
You are provided with all the needed amenities for a relaxing visit along with grooming supplies and a couple of hammocks to take with you as you stroll our 165ac farm and explore new places to unwind.
I am in a fantastic location for 1 hour day trips. Huntsville is 45 min south & Nashville is 1 hour north. In the immediate area within 30 min is a wine trail, along with Jack Daniels Distillery, Pritchards Distillery, and George Dickel Distillery which provide a fun day as well. Our Downtown Square is alive with southern charm and is perfect for spending a day strolling around. We have antique shops, sandwich cafes, a coffee shop, an old hardware store, and the original theater which still shows 2 movies a week! You will find that to be so very secluded you will have no shortage of things to explore IF you choose to get off the farm. *Popular Destinations Nearby: less than 30 min drive- Pritchards Distillery Southern Pride moonshine distillery Antique shopping Hiking 30 min drive- Jack Daniel Distillery Pickers Creek Winery (live music on weekends) Big Creek Winery --->has driving range next-door *FUN* Hiking
Laurie has a beautiful area in which to share with others. Convenient to stores if needed but peaceful and quiet. Loved eating outside on the deck esp watchjng the sunset each night. Beds comfy as well as linens. Bathroom towels wondeful. Not the cheap hotel/resort type. Thank you for those extra touches. Would stay here anytime.
We had a great short stay. This was a half way point for my brother and I to meet up. We havent seen each other in years and we both just had kids. Beautiful views on a quiet farm! It was neat to be able to walk around the farm and visit the goats and horses. I also really enjoyed getting local meats delivered!
If you're looking for a peaceful cabin in nature, this is it. We enjoyed our stay.
Went to rent this cabin for two night while my friends were visiting. They didn’t come because of the stink bugs coving everything inside. So my family left after 4 hrs there. The host only refunded 150 very upset with these ppl. Wouldn’t recommend them to my worst enemy. They seemed to busy with other businesses to even bother checking us in with the correct code to enter the cabin.
Let me start off with saying, everyone on the farm is great! The goats are the best neighbors for this cabin. Waking up to them was a perfect start to our days. The view from this cabin’s porch is insanely beautiful when it comes to sunsets and a beautiful view of the property. Overall, a wonderful weekend and we cannot thank Laurie enough for the peace she has brought us and our two little fur babies for a weekend. Oh! And if you come across the beautiful blue eyes puppy, give her some love and she’ll take you on the hiking trails to show you around. She’s a wonderful host as well. ?
This farm was a great place to get away and relax. We loved being able to take walks on the farm and see the animals. We enjoyed feeding the goats. Cabin was cozy and enjoyed eating breakfast on the deck every morning.
Great spot to unwind and take in the Tennessee game!
We ended up going to a hotel in Fayetteville. The ad on VRBO stated that the cabin slept 7. Our reservation was for 6 adults. There were 2 beds, a queen and a double. That sleeps 4. there is a fold out couch that would fit one adult or 2 kids. That’s still just 5 adults. It also said there were 2 baths, one was inside and nice. The other turned out to be just a shower head outside with no walls. That being said, the cabin would be great for a small family or up to 4 adults. It’s small and cozy but still nice.
The cabin was just what we needed for a romantic, relaxing night away I only wish we could have stayed longer! Would highly recommend
We enjoyed our peaceful and relaxing visit.
Great and would consider a revisit!
We loved this cute tiny cabin. First trip with our puppy and this cabin was perfect. Our dog had a blast interacting with the goats across from the cabin. We sat on the balcony every night and watched the fireflies light up the field. Laurie was a great hostess and was quick to answer all my questions.
