Sunrise Cove is a cozy cabin located within sight of Higgins lake & state land

Clean and cozy, well stocked and super convenient location.

Very well decorated and provisioned. We enjoyed just hanging out inside the cabin on a rainy weekend. But we also got beach and canoe time and day tripped to Mackinac Island. We will be back again!

I really enjoyed my stay at Sunrise Cove. The cottage was immaculately clean, very well stocked and nicely decorated. The location was ideal for me (I have friends who live a short distance away) but even without that shopping, the state park and coffee shop are all a short distance away. It was very peaceful and quiet. The only thing that could have been better was the weather but that’s Michigan! Will be planning my next stay soon.

Quaint log cabin on a hill in the woods across the road on the southwest side of Higgins Lake where you are able to see the lake from the cabin bedroom. Plenty of room for a quiet family vacation to include the pets, and only a short drive from South Higgins Lake State Park or a bit longer to North Higgins Lake State Park.

We loved our stay, I would definitely like to take our family back!

We stayed here for the night after spending the day at the campground. It was an 8 minute drive from South Higgins Lake State Park which was very convenient! The beds were comfortable and sheets and towels were provided! Check in was very easy and the host was friendly!

We had a wonderful trip. Higgins Lake is our family’s favorite lake to swim in. Sunrise Cove was perfect location to be able to enjoy time with our kids and grandkids as they camped at the state park. It was cozy and comfortable.

Perfect what we needed it for…somewhere to sleep and shower but within close proximity to South Higgins Lake State Park to spend the day with camping friends! Clean and well stocked…we hope to be back next summer!

Was definitely the definition of cozy. Very clean and comfortable. We did not utilize the grounds due to the fact that we had relatives staying at the campground and spent most of our time there.

This was a nice little stay! The cabin was comfortable, affordable, and really great location close to everything around Higgins. Unfortunately, there were a few minor cleanliness issues. First, the coffee maker was moldy and I didn’t feel comfortable using it. Also, there were a few bugs in the cabin which made us a little woozy. However, it was still a good stay and we loved it! And so did our doggie!

Cozy and comfortable! Had everything we needed, but could use more counter space in kitchen. Host was great!

Our stay at Sunrise Cove was just as stated “cozy”. Close to Higgins and hiking trails. Our friends trip was amazing and it was the perfect relaxing weekend both inside the cabin and out on the trails. Sunrise Cove was the perfect accommodation for the weekend! It was beautiful with a log cabin feel!!

The heat kept kicking back to 50 degrees couldn't get WiFi hooked up. TV had no Internet couldn't watch any thing

Overall the cabin was great although there were a few minor inconveniences during the stay. Proximity to lake was great and we caught lots of fish near the rental.

Our group was in Roscommon for Cross-Country Ski Headquarter’s “Bavarian Festival”. This cabin was the perfect cozy place to return to each night! It had everything we needed and was very conveniently located!

Lovely little cabin near hiking trails. Met our needs, and was cozy.

Weather was cold and windy, but enjoyed the cottage. Hopi g to come back in a few weeks with family.

Property is beautiful with lots of mature trees and private. Short drive to State Park. Place was clean and comfortable. Enjoyed bon fires at night. No lake view this time of year though.

Cute cabin in woodsy environment close to lake and within walking distance to a small restaurant. Owner was very responsive. Would stay again.

Cute, cozy, and comfortable place to stay. All the necessities you need are provided. It brought back memories of spending time in my grand parents cabin and the host, Tracy is responsive and you can tell she takes pride in her cute place. We will definitely be back.

Great location; very quiet

We had a great time at this clean and cozy cabin in the woods! The cabin looked even better in person than in the pictures, and we had it had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. We had fun getting ice cream at one of the many close spots, and spent the day at South Higgins Lake State Park which was a quick drive away. The lot the cabin is on is large, providing plenty of space for kids to play, have a picnic and campfire. The property owner was very accessible, quick to respond and very friendly :) Thanks for a great stay!

This is our second stay at the property. The property is very clean and well maintained. The cabin is cozy and a nice place to relax. We will look forward visiting again.
