Very welcoming host. The location was perfect and neighborhood quiet and calm. The wood stove was wonderful to have for the chilly evenings. Large dog friendly space for our Maligators to run was fantastic. We hosted a cozy Thanksgiving dinner for five people. The kitchen especially the brand new oven worked perfectly for our 20lb turkey. The location was great, close to everything but away from any crowds. We explored Tomales Bay and the National Seashore. And we saw a lot of Tule elk. Such a relaxing time.

Cozy, secluded, off the beaten path. Close access to hiking, kayaking, and stargazing. Five nights passed too quickly. This was our second stay here, and we're already planning the next visit.

We had an easy and relaxing stay at the property -- all was as advertised and the property owner's communications were clear and timely. We used it as a base for a beach day, a festival day, and a lay-around-the-place and read and relax day -- the hammock was a highlight! The main house and separate sleeping cabin gave off a summer camp feel that made us right at home. Weather was perfect so we did not need the wood stove, but looked cozy. We had exactly the family weekend getaway we wanted.

We loved our stay here! Very quiet and cozy with lots of outdoor space to hang out. We were two couples and a dog and it worked out just perfectly for us. The kitchen is small but well-stocked, so we were able to cook dinners and just hang out. We would definitely come back!

Great place for a family to hang out while in the area. Isolated, so lots of wildlife visiting. Massive deck space to spread out. Kitchen has everything but is really for one person at a time. I would return.

A bit funky, but clean, comfortable and very quiet and peaceful. Surrounded by lovely greenery and centrally located. Many family pictures reflected the loving times they have enjoyed there, adding to the charm for us. This was our second stay and won't be our last.

We (two families with children) happily returned to this amazing cabin in the woods to rest amidst the peace and natural beauty that this property offers. The extra sleeping cabin is beloved by our kids and we can't get enough of all the rustic touches and easy comfort of this long-time family retreat. The owner is easy to reach and very helpful, and the property comes very clean and fully equipped. We can't speak highly enough about this place!

This is a wonderfully nostalgic cabin that fills you with sentimental longing and wistful affection for the past - even when it's not your past! It's so quirky, cozy, tidy and well cared for that you feel part of the family, and can imagine spending summers there... sailing at the yacht club down the street. Great location, dogs and teens love it. A true gem.

Beautiful little spot to stay while we were in town for an autumn wedding. We loved having tea on the porch, and going on walks around the neighborhood. The house is quaint and adorable.

The goal of our trip to Inverness was to remember our brother in the place he loved most. This home was the perfect choice, with its warm wood interior, a rustic beauty that charmed us immediately. We spent every evening at the house, and though there was only two of us, a larger group would be equally comfortable. With so many local products available nearby (oysters! cheese!bread!), each dinner was a feast laid out on the lovely dining table. The outdoor deck space was wonderful in the morning with our coffee before we set out for the day. We hope to make this trip an annual tradition, and there's no other place we'd prefer to stay.

We loved our stay. It is a family summer cabin that shows it has been loved for years and years. Staying there made me feel almost as if I was part of the family. It is very private and we loved hanging out in the cozy living room and on the sunny decks.

Really enjoyed our stay. The owner provided everything (dishes, appliances etc) and located relatively close to all the beaches that our 2 dogs could go to. Quiet and relatively close to the town of Inverness. Enjoyed the Station restaurant and grocery store. All in all a relaxing trip from sizzling temperatures of Sacramento for the week.

We loved staying here. It was a great set up for my mom, me and my two teenage kids. The beds are comfortable, the kitchen well stocked and it's a great location with easy access to beautiful Pt. Reyes. Peaceful and quiet too. Peggy was responsive and helpful. Highly recommend!

This is a charming cabin that offered the perfect place to come back to after time spent exploring all that Point Reyes has to offer. The accommodations were incredibly welcoming and the listed pictures does not do the cabin or property justice. Our favorite part was the deck. We spent the majority of time at the cabin enjoying the outdoors and the beautiful yard.

Three of us were very comfortable, and the sleeping cabin was a bonus with privacy for our third adult friend. The instructions were very clear, and we found everything we needed. The planter on the deck with beautiful blooming kangaroo paws was such a fine welcome, and there were fresh flowers indoors as well. We prepared our breakfasts and dinners and ate indoors and outdoors on the deck--there are two. If you like a wood cabin with a nautical theme and photos and art reflecting the family's love of sailing, this is the place for you. We liked it very much.
