Stayed Jul 23, 2021I loved the location and the layout of the property. All of the cabins have their own porch with chairs and picnic tables. There is lakefront access with a boat dock, launch site and outdoor pool and park space. They are pet friendly which was what I needed as I was traveling with my dog. I needed a place to stay for the weekend while I was working and it was perfect. I had a small kitchen, with all the amenities I needed. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The only reason the review isn't five stars is because the cabin was old and could use a remodel. The bathroom shower is tiny and leaks and the kitchen appliances and beds are old and creaky. Everything was clean and tidy though and to be a pet-friendly space was more important to me than new decor and appliances. Thanks for a peaceful place to stay, I will definitely recommend to friends and family.

Stayed Jun 25, 2021We had a great time at Valentine's Lakeside Resort. The owners were so sweet and hospitable. We spent alot of time at the pool and it was clean. The property is right on the lake and I really enjoyed having my coffee by the lake. Our family enjoyed every moment here.

Stayed Jun 18, 2021It was a quick last-minute weekend stay for us. We did not take advantage of the river access which looked nice, but it was great for what we needed and the staff was extremely friendly. Also enjoyed the ability to order coffee in the morning.
