Stayed May 7, 2026Super clean, tidy, and well stocked cozy cabin. We were very surprised to find everything we needed and more! The cabin is in a perfect location. Close to all of the attractions that we came looking for; boat launches, parks, overlooks, thrifting, restaurants - many of these being right down the road. Our Golden Retriever and Bernese Mountain dog enjoyed swimming in the lake, and the cabin. The backyard is spacious and the porch has gates on either side, so they could be in view while we had a fire in the front yard. I would like to mention that the road the cabin is on is very busy. There’s no shoulder, and nothing is safe to walk or bike to around the cabin. Luckily, places to walk your dog, or in general, are only a 6-10 minute car ride away. Overall, this stay exceeded our expectations. Thanks again!

Stayed May 23, 2025The area was beautiful. Pleasant area, some road noise do to main road leads to lake. But, was no problem for us. There is a business next door. Again, no problem for us as it was a holiday weekend and they were not open. There is carpet throughout the cabin in most areas..was not an issue for us but may be for others with dogs. The fenced back yard was great and the wild life visitors were enjoyed. We will be back for sure

Stayed Jan 18, 2025Beautiful home in nice location. It's close to New River Gorge and Babcock and Hawk's Nest State Parks. My husky loved playing in the snow. I wish we could've stayed longer.
