Summer Getaway!! Nearby attractions including Dollywood!!

This home was absolutely perfect for our family of 5. Mom & Dad had some space and privacy away from the kids. The kids had the whole upstairs to themselves. It’s a perfect layout for our size family! We cooked in a few nights and the kitchen had everything we needed. We were looking forward using the grill in the pictures but it is no longer at the house - but we made do! We used the fire pit for smores, and loved the hot tub. The views are stunning and the location was perfect for Dollywood! (And everything else we did.) It seemed like we avoided the main parkway no matter where we went which was nice! We would definitely stay here again.

Home was clean and well appointed. Booked this home over multuple other vrbo options in the area because the listing stated *privacy/views, *hottub, *master shower had l.e.d. lighting feature and *arcade game area w working videos game machine and air hocky table..... the home DOES HAVE AMAZING VIEWS. Is CLEAN, WELL APPOINTED. However, we where unable to use the hotub, the master shower lights did not work and the water features in shower did not work well. The arcade video game and air hockey table did not work when plugged in. The host did deduct 100 off our 600/2 night stay for the inconveniences.

Place was great Alot of ants and lady bugs but I understand those are very hard to control especially this time of the year I do wish the windows and front door had some type of curtains but other than that it was clean and very cozy I would definitely stay again

Very clean property we had a lovely stay!

The check in process was fine. Got into the house to find multiple bug everywhere including wasps, lady bugs, and stink bugs. There were sticky floors throughout the house. The sheets were not clean. The hot tub smelt terrible. There was leaking from the roof in the master and living area. The bugs were inside and outside the house. Tried calling and messaging the hosts multiple times no response, no answer. We called VRBO to see what we could do because we were not staying at the house with all the bugs and dirty sheets. The shower was nasty hair in it. Luckily the next morning we found another place to stay. VRBO gave the hosts 24 hrs to respond never responded so they reimbursed us for our other hotel room for the last two nights. Waisted a whole day dealing with the house problems and trying to figure out where we were going to stay. We are supposed to be getting a full refund on the house because we didn’t stay there but one night and we do not sleep sat on the couch all night because of the nasty bed sheets and pillows. The hosts has yet to reach out to us. It was a terrible experience. The pictures do not do the house justice. It’s a beautiful house but behind a junkyard and mobile homes. A lot smaller than the pictures put it out to be. Would not recommend saying here until things improve with this house.

It is not my intention to leave a bad review but instead to bring awareness to the reviews. Believe all the negative reviews because upon arrival to the unit we found numerous lady bugs, stink bugs, and wasps flying around the unit. I messaged owner who replied that this was normal for this area and lady bugs are harmless. The wasps and hot tub issue later discussed in my review were unaddressed. We have stayed many times in the area and this was a first. It took us 1.5 hrs to clean everything and wash all the comforters because we could tell they were dirty. I did not complain again because we are not those type of people. This place is in fact located on top of a mountain with trailer parks directly below (there is no view) and a junk yard around the corner. We were not bothered during our stay and once we got it cleaned it was comfortable. The hot tub was halfway full and we had to fill it up only to discover it needed to be cleaned and felt like sitting in luke warm bath water. Again full disclosure we did not formally complain. The game that was pictured did not work the entire time and we did not complain about that as well. During the course of one night I awoke with a stink bug on my arm and my wife had one on her eye. There are no curtains to the unit so people who walk or drive by can look into the unit. Being that I have a daughter I solved that by putting black trash bags up against the windows that surprisingly held up well during our stay.

We enjoyed our stay. The hot tub needed cleaning. The washer had a bad smell but I ran a hot water rinse and it helped. Overall, the home was nice.

The cabin was perfect for our stay. The beds were comfortable and the rooms were very spacious. The kitchen and bathrooms were great as well. We enjoyed the hot tub as well. We definitely would come back!

The view and accommodations were impeccable. The stay was extraordinary, and all desired activities were conveniently accessible within approximately thirty minutes.

We enjoyed our stay! This cabin is new and very clean. Close to Dollywood. Perfect space for our girls getaway, 2 adults and 3 kids(11-15). The kids enjoyed the games and the hot tub. Nice big shower in the master as well! Could have used a few more towels but other than that it was perfect!

The home was beautiful and warm welcoming. We weren’t able to use the hot tub during our stay unfortunately however Donna was great with responding & trying to assist us virtually in fixing it.

Prefacing to say it will not let me type everything I have to say, so this is the summarized version, and to also add I have never left below a 5 star review. - Not a great part of town, but didn’t rly bother us too much…- Was told we’d receive check-in info 3 days prior, messaged twice (very kind and polite at that), but had to call VRBO directly before we got a response from host. Wouldn’t have been a big deal if our messages would’ve just been acknowledged. - Left over confetti everywhere (maybe Bach trip), upstairs bunk beds dirty, hot tub slimy, etc. - Smart-lock system old and scratched. Difficult to read numbers. Wouldn’t lock, only unlock. - A/C unit is messed up. Daughter had to sleep with us - upstairs was prob 80 or hotter. Was set to 69 when we got there, would stay around 73, shot up to 75 late evening/nights… making it uncomfortable to sleep. Checked the air filter, an inch of debris. Told the host. She sent out a cleaner. Changed nothing, it actually worsened. We were refunded 50 for the “inconvenience”… Cleaner also stated that we could “knock the air down to whatever we’d like… it’s 75 out, won’t freeze unit.” She set the A/C down to 64… we bumped it back up once she left to avoid damage to unit. The host did end up responding quickly once we were there. The place was decorated cute. The bathrooms were great. However, our experience was not what we hoped for or worth what we paid, despite it being cheaper than others.

The house was beautiful inside and the hot tub was awesome! It worked perfect for my 2 kids under 2. Plus it's near piegon forge!!! I would definitely book again.

This was a great stay for my husband and I. Location was great too! It was secluded but not far from attractions, shopping and restaurants. The deck was nice with great views! Its on the smaller side but was perfect for the 2 of us which included the hot tub.

Convenient location for Dollywood. Property manager was responsive and polite. The place has everything you need for trip to Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg.

We enjoyed our stay overall. The house was nicely updated and in a quiet location. Cleaning could have been better. We found a glob of someone else’s hair stuck to the shower walls and the hot tub had to be wiped down before we could use it. We were unable to use the fire pit because the grass was so tall.

Upon arrival, the place looked abandoned and overgrown with weeds. The “smart” lock does not work. after traveling all day, tried to contact the host by VRBO message, and then tried calling, and after several minutes, finally got a message back about another way to get in. A set of keys was in another lock box that was actually unlocked and laying in a pool of rusty water. The fire pit was unusable due to the knee-high weeds. There was no shower gel or hand soap in the master bathroom. The inside of the place was somewhat updated except there were no curtains or blinds on any of the windows facing the street. Would not recommend.

This cozy home was wonderful to stay in, they have setups for s'mores, popcorn and coffee. They really think about their guests. There's a beautiful view from the deck! Thank you!!!

Very nice and clean. Host was very nice and helpful. Area is perfect. 15-30 minute drive to dollywood or Gatlinburg which was perfect for us. Definitely recommend.

Property is beautiful the house inside is stunning!! Definitely would stay again.

The best thing about the rental was the quick communication. It’s much smaller than it appears in pics, and several maintenance items needed to be fixed. The location, although a nice view out back, was in the middle of several junkyards and really hurt the pretty mountain vibe. Price was too steep for this house on my opinion.

The view is amazing and the location is away from the busy town

My family close to stay here because it is in a convenient location and is beautiful. Those things are true! We struggled with a few things worth sharing for families of little kids. The master and second bedroom are sisters by a pretty long flight of stairs. There is no bathroom upstairs which worried me that my kids would walk downstairs by themselves to get to the bathroom. Two of the stairs were damaged although the property manager assured me they will fix these ASAP. The bedroom upstairs is a bunk bed but you cannot remove the ladder which also worried me about leaving younger kids up there unsupervised. Lastly I’m not sure there is A/C upstairs. It was exceptionally hot upstairs compared to the main level which made it difficult for our kids to sleep. Outside of the kid friendliness hang ups we had, the house was great. The master was beautiful and the bed was so huge and comfy that our family of four all ended up in it! We noticed the master shower was out of body soap and needed to be cleaned. We also couldn’t get the hot tub above 88 degrees. Admittedly, these are minor qualms. Would recommend for a family with older kids for sure! Will plan to come back when our littles aren’t so little.

We loved our stay. Everything was beautifully and clean.

The property was a great place to stay for a weekend getaway in the Pigeon Forge area. We enjoyed the quiet area that it was in, even through pretty hefty rain storm. There was not a lot of traffic in the area either as I think I saw the Mail truck only once for the four days we were there. Overall, it was a great place to comes back too after walking around the sites and attractions available in the Pigeon Forge / Gatlinburg area.

Unfortunately for our stay, it was not the best. When we arrived, the thermostat was set on 81 degrees(forecast was for mid 60’s on arrival day) so it was blazing in the house. The parking(especially for my truck was very tight) and the “slight” incline as described by the driveway is an understatement. To unload you have to walk up the driveway which is fault steep or after you unlock the house go up about 20 steps that are step as well(I have a very bad knee and this was super difficult for me).when we got things brought in and out away, we noticed a lot of dead and alive stink bugs in the tables, floors, bed, bathroom, crumbs and dead stink bugs on the coffee table in the living room,went to get a wash cloth to shower and had a wad of hair on it and was dirty but yet it was with the clean linens,hot tub had a CoE displayed which is a communication error and was basically a hot bath tub as the jets would stay on for 5/6 minutes and turn off(why have a hot tub if you can’t control the jets), the back deck is nice but to cluttered with furniture and the carpet rug was soak and wet from the rain and smelled of mildew,and furniture was soaked so we couldn’t sit on it to enjoy the back porch view. The master bed comforter had dried blood on it as did the king pillow and the other pillows at the rental smelled of sweat, my wife had dropped her phone charger and went under the bed was disgusting,an acrylic fingernail, sock and box of nerds. Bed is super comfy however

Overall a great property central to both the national park and shopping. Hot tub was not on/pre heated upon arrival, but heated up very quickly to use the same night once we flipped the switch on the deck. Great for a family, and our kiddo loved the game room and his bedroom. Loved everything about master bedroom! Only major thing we noted was water pressure was lower than activities throughout cabin, but was usable. Would definitely stay here again!

Great location for our weekend wrestling tournaments in Gatlinburg. Location is away from the congestion & crowds but within short drives to grocery stores, convenience stores and restaurants. House was clean, cozy and beautifully decorated. Loved the electric fireplaces and super comfy beds. Hot tub was great after a long tournament day. Communication with host (Donna) was wonderful and always helpful. Pictures give the illusion that spaces are bigger than they really are but still very adequate space for a family of 4 like us but definitely room for 2-3 more. Definitely on the list for return visits!

Absolutely my favorite so far !! Its beautiful , very welcomingvand oh so comfy . 10 star !!! The only thing we would want for our next visit woukd be a curtain / shade in the kitchen window and front door . Thank you for our use of your beautiful cabin !
