Stayed Oct 27, 2025The location and yurt are beautiful and very private. The entire staff is fantastic and responded quickly to any concerns. We really appreciated the full kitchen, as well as the private hot tub.Our only minor issues were the fireplace was broken and the heat/ac was challenging to keep a steady temperature. The chemical level in the hot tub was extremely high, however that is better than too low

Stayed Jul 30, 2023The Sugar Shack was the perfect getaway spot for us. My husband and I wanted a quiet place where we could relax and enjoy nature. The Sugar Shack more than met our needs. It’s location was perfect for day trips to State Parks. The hot tub was a great way to relax at the end of the day. We’d definitely stay there again.

Stayed Jul 18, 2022We really enjoyed our stay here. The location was perfect, not on a busy route but very near all the attractions and parks. I would recommend you to bring a sleeping eye mask, the yurts skylight is very bright.
