Sugar Bear cabin was a beautiful cabin, in a quiet area of the woods located very near Pigeon Forge. We went outside of busy season, so the cabins nearby were not occupied. We came with myself, my husband, our 2 year old, and my inlaws. We had one small issue with a sink backing up on our first days, and the Bear Tootin was very prompt in sending someone out to clear it. The ONLY issue we had on our trip was the actual location of the cabin. It is right at the edge of a small cliff on one full side, not even a step off the front porch, which is not mentioned in the listing. With a curious 2 year old, we were not able to explore the area the way we would have liked safely, without worrying he'd go off the edge. As well as the road leading up to the cabins was not in the greatest of shape, which is in no way the cabin owners fault, just merely pointing it out. All in all, this was a very fun and memorable trip, and we would love to stay again, once my son is a bit older and will listen to not go by the edge of the cliff.

Cabin was very clean, check in was super easy and everything was just as listed in the description. I only have a couple of things that would have made it better. Master bedroom really needs a new mattress. It is like sleeping in a crater on the right side. Also its odd there is no exhaust fan in master bathroom, everything stays damp and steamy for quite a while after showering. Other than that everything was great. Definitely need 4 wheel drive to get up the drive as it is a steep sharp curve. We were in a truck and had to back up the driveway to make it up.

You will need 4wheel drive, especially in the winter. Beds were uncomfortable, especially the bunk beds. We were given two dishwasher pods, two trash bags, and a small dish liquid. There were not enough cups/bowls for our party staying. There is no view of the mountains, just trees. It is secluded, but you can hear traffic while sitting on the porch. Overall, it was okay for the money. About an hour from Gatlinburg attractions, but pretty close to Pigeon Forge and restaurants.

The area was nice and secluded yet close to everything. A steep hill to pull in drive but we made it work.

The cabin which is situated in the mountains of Pigeon forge was a very nice well-kept cabin. My family and I came up there to visit for vacation and I believe we all had a very nice time. One of the days just before a storm came in, when we came back from Dollywood splash Country, we noticed that our garbage had been toppled over and torn apart.... While trying to clean that up lightning struck on a branch very near to the cabin which the branch fell onto the power lines coming from the cabin. I did call maintenance and they were very responsive to come out and check, however the power company needed to remove it and during the rest of the week they still had not shown up, so I assume it was not a priority, as we still did have power. The next day we met the bear that happened to try and get into our trash at the end of our driveway luckily he was scared away by The cars and went back down the road. Our kids love to rock on the rocking chair out front, play the air hockey and checkers. We did end up zip tying down the stairs to the bunk bed as it almost had fallen on one of our other kids as well as added a few night lights which I forgot to take home with us but... The whole family slept well, loved the showers and ate well...all in all we had a nice time thank you.

We arrived at the property to find a very steep driveway that was not large enough to fit three cars as advertised, let alone turn our truck around in the driveway so we didn’t have to back down the blind mountain hill. The cabin appeared fine at first. When I opened the dishwasher to load it the next day, it was full of dirt and mold and looked as if it had never been cleaned. The downstairs shower handle wasn’t even attached to the wall. When I contacted The property they said it was too late to get any sort of refund but offered to send someone in to clean and fix the shower. This should have been done before we checked in. Does nobody inspect these properties after their housekeeper is there. Overall disappointed because we did not get what we expected.

Come to TN to visit step children for spring break the location of the cabin was great made it quick and 3easy to get to any and all attractions! the Road / driveway was very narrow and kind of scary but other than that cabin was great and had beautiful surroundings. There is definitely Bears in the area as our trash can was push over and messed with a few times but it locks so all was ok. Host was very communitive and helpful when we needed them.

The experience was good, and we had all the resources labeled on the listing available. The location was pretty and ideal, but very steep driveway up to the cabin. Overall, it was a great experience and good option for staying less than 10 minutes from Dolly's Stampede and many restaurants.

We loved the cabin, just as the photos show. The only details I should tell you about what happened during our stay is that we had a problem with a water leak that apparently came from the bathroom to the kitchen. The problem was reported through several channels but we never received a response. It happened one day and no more.We also report that we couldn't find the sheets for the sofa bed and we looked everywhere. We suggest changing the mattress in the main room, it's not in good condition.Otherwise we had a good experience.

Check in was a breeze. The cabin was well stocked. We adjusted the heat but it was on a self timers so got a little chilly at night. The dishwasher needs some attention and the hood exhaust fan could not be turned on easily. All in all the owners were very responsive and we would stay here again!

Great for the most part! However, the road to the cabin is in desperate need of repair! It was a great location .It is HARD on your vehicle. The bed in the second room is NOT a queen. Only a double! Both mattresses on the bunk beds were AWFUL! The carpets were filthy. The rest of the cabin was clean and very family friendly.

My family really enjoyed our stay. The cabin was clean, and my kids enjoyed the game room. We were close to The Ripken Experience and the listing was accurate. It is in a great location with the exception of the steep driveway, but all in all we really enjoyed this property. If we ever come back to this area we would consider booking this place again, it was in a peaceful location and it was close to a lot of attractions and resturaunts.
