Host was very responsive to questions before and during my stay.

Couldn't ask for better people to work with. The home was so nice and stocked with start off supplies more than a typical property. For sure pack light. The steps will show you how much you need to exercise. :) Great location. Out of the hustle, but convenient to everywhere. Our biggest challenge was the pool was very busy when we went, but we aren’t public pool people. The pool was nice. The cabin was perfect for our Brady Bunch of kiddos. The hot tub was very nice. We saw a bear outside and loved it!! Again, cant recommend the owners enough.

Great view, secluded, nice hot tub and grill, beds were comfortable, we had a great time, saw 6 bears yesterday at cades cove.

Beautiful place to stay! Great views and plenty of deck space to exist outside and enjoy the mountain air. The hot tub was a very nice addition that both the adults and kids enjoyed. The property was clean and in good shape on our arrival. Check in was easy and quick. The stairs to get into the cabin were a hassle, but worth the effort.

Check in process very easy, very responsive host. Cute firepit area. Could use a little extra cobweb dusting around ceilings. Concrete/railroad tie steps need some TLC. Game room needs some updating(pool rack, pool stick tips, pool chalk, darts with tips for dart board.) Beautiful view! You definitely get your exercise in with the steps overall nice house and nice, quick and responsive host!!

Absolutely love the cabin. Amazing views and everything was exactly as pictured. Owner was very friendly and sent thorough instructions and details for the stay. Would definitely rent again.

Our host was amazing—I never once needed to reach out because all correspondence was incredibly detailed and timely. The property itself was outstanding. The views were absolutely breathtaking, and the cabin was in pristine condition upon arrival. We couldn’t have asked for a better stay.

Ron was really great with communication and assisting us with things in the cabin. The day we checked out, there was ice and he helped with that as well and was very nice. The house was clean and had everything we needed! Great hosting!

Visted the last week of July, family of four with a dog. Very nice place to unwind! Beautiful views with plenty of room, and secluded. The steps are no joke. I read the other reviews about the stairs, and yes all are true. We were ok with it! I wouldn't recommend for a senior dog - our dog struggled a bit with the stairs and the unlevel ground. Gameroom was great, as well as the hot tub and the swing! Ron was great to deal with and very responsive! Unfortunately, no bear sighting for us.

If you’re looking for great view with great game room for kids this is the cabin away from everyone.

Definitely one of the best cabins my family has vacationed in over the years. The floor plan is well thought out and the game room was full of fun activities. We found ourselves hanging out on the large porch a lot since the temperature was so pleasant and the view was stunning. We had bunnies in the yard each evening and even had a mama bear with three cubs visit.

We had a wonderful stay, everything thing was just as described. Be prepared for the steps, it was a weekly workout, seeing bears right at the cabin multiple times was amazing and had a beautiful view. And love that we could take our dogs along.

My family & I decided to take a trip to the Smoky's, being that it's been almost 20 years since the last time my wife & I visited, and we couldn't have been more pleased. The cabin was really nice; plenty of room for everyone to spread out & decompress after a whole day of activities, a hot tub that was an absolute hit (especially with the young ones), we even had some unexpected visitors on our first day that surprised everyone...we knew there were bears in the area, but never anticipated we'd see them right out of the gate.Ron was extremely responsive to any & all questions or concerns that we had during our stay, and would send follow ups every now & then just to make sure everything was to our liking, which was greatly appreciated.The only downside to our visit, and mind you, this is coming from visitors who traveled from quite possibly the flattest part of the country (South Louisiana), was the curvy, inclined roadway leading up to the steep driveway to the cabin. We knew it was coming from a few of the reviews, but once you're in it, you realize how intimidating it can be. Once we drove back & forth a few times, however, it got a bit easier & less stressful, so there's that. For those who may be first timers, heed Ron's advice - drive it low & slow. Parking was a bit tricky, but made it work with a full size truck & the 2 sedans we all drove up in.Lastly, prepare yourself for those stairs, they're a doozy - low & slow, folks (lol).

The cabin is cozy and the owners are extremely nice! We spotted a momma bear with her cubs twice during our stay (very cool if you’re inside, a bit scary if you’re climbing up the walkway). Most of the drive up to the cabin is easy, but the driveway is definitely steep. Overall our group of adults and kids loved our stay and never had a boring moment

We made so many memories at this cabin. We were greeted by and got to witness a Momma bear teach her twin cubs to play, climb, and eat. The driveway is steep but fun to have your kids race up to get tired!

Great cabin for our family of 6 adults and 3 children. Plenty of room-hot tub and game room kept everyone entertained.

This cabin was the perfect setting for a family getaway. Husband I and rented the cabin for us, our 3 adult children, and their families. Beautiful large porch with rockers and swings allowed opportunities to relax and enjoy the beautiful Fall. The views from the cabin are absolutely amazing! The cabin has 3 levels which allowed everyone to spend some time alone when desired. This was important to us as we we traveled with our young adult daughter who has autism. Lower game room level is very large and we were able to put a queen sized air mattress on the floor there as well. We did not use the hot tub so I cannot review on that. One of our adult kids got to see a bear traveling up to the cabin on our last full day. Easy travel to all of the places we wanted to visit but far away enough to truly feel away from it all. We traveled with 3 large cars and the parking was adequate for all vehicles. There are a lot of stairs and a steep driveway. This is well described in the description of the property and we were prepared for that. Host was very receptive to all questions that we had and replied within minutes when we sent a message. Kitchen appeared to have basic items for cooking (including baking sheets for the toddler's chicken nuggets, lol). Plenty of towels for all guests and there is a washer and dryer if, like us, you want to keep up with the laundry, and not return home to that. We truly recommend this property and hope to be able to return in the future.
