I planned a surprise visit for my husband’s birthday. We enjoyed our visit to Mountain View and the Fall Bluegrass Festival. The cabin was great. The owners have gone above and beyond to provide the necessities. The kitchen had large and small appliances. All we needed was to supply food. Everything was clean and worked as expected. The bed was comfortable, the shower was great, and the location could not have been better. We were far enough from town to relax, and close enough to enjoy all of the activities. The area surrounding the cabin was gorgeous and very well maintained. The owners were on-site and a joy to talk with. We will definitely check with the Morgans when we plan our next trip to Mountain View.

The cabin was so cozy and exactly what we needed. We felt like we were at home instead of like we were renting a place to stay. I loved all of the decorations and the beds were very comfortable. Easy access to town. Great place to stay if you’re going to Mountain View! This will be one of our preferred places to stay when we come back!!

Extremely cozy, the perfect get away! Both Coach and Carla are extremely responsive and kind. We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. Scenic views, trails and small towns feeling. One thing to note a 4x4 is recommended, Walmart is 10 minutes away from cabin. No need for firewood as it's provided. We recommend staying to get away from it all.

Cozy, well appointed cabin! The owners, Coach and Carla were great to work with! We had one small issue, the fireplace was not working. This was the first real cold snap of the fall. We called and the owners and they got someone out to get us going within the hour! The beds are comfortable and the decor was very nice! There was abundant wildlife and picturesque views all around! We’ll definitely be back!

It's a very nice cabin with very cold rooms if you want that. Very clean and all the amenities you need. The town itself offers some very good cave tours at a state park and there's even some cliff diving at a place called Allison Trail. If you're gonna take Allison Trail, though you're gonna need a vehicle that has a little more clearance. It's not too bad, but I wouldn't want to drive something very low to the ground there like a family sedan. The city itself offers plenty of folk music as well as a rather interesting shop that sells Cedarwood products like beds and furniture. There's also an outdoor movie theater near town and in town there's a small indoor movie theater.Overall, great experience and great hosts.I recommended it.

The cabin was very warm and cozy even before entering. The owners thought of everything, down to the littlest details. The bonus part of the stay was being able to sit outside on the porch and watch the fireflies dance through the yard. It added the magical touch to our visit.

We spent hours on rhe front porch rocking, drinking coffee and just talking. The master bed is so comfortable I took a nap every day we stayed! We really enjoyed finding all the items that they have bought from local artists! Thos will definitely be the place we stay for our mext trip to Mountain View! The cabin was absolutely perfect for our much needed quiet and relaxing stay! I didn't want to leave! Best hosts who thought of all the little extras you might have forgotten and have them available in the cabin! Thank you for the wonderful memories we made while visiting! Perfect cabin for watching deer at dawn and dusk, and star gazing at night. The cabin had everything we needed, the beds were great and we loved sitting on covered porch when it rained. The cabin was amazing. Well stocked and the beds were comfortable. The washer and dryer are great when you have kids and you go hiking in the summer heat! We have 3 boys (11,9, & 7) with 2 adults and we were very comfortable. The view was amazing and we had a doe and fawns that would wonder in the back area. It’s location is convenient with town close as well as free nature trails. We thoroughly enjoyed our time there. The only precaution is that we suggest ensuring you have good tires! We live in a flat area & didn’t even consider that. Our poor minivan struggled getting up to the cabin a bit (not the best mountain vehicle). We got new tires for the back due to low tread and that helped. This was poor planning on our part, not the owners!

The cabin itself is in a very tranquil area but still close to everything. Early morning coffee on the back deck and then again in the evening watching the deer was magical. Cabin had everything you would need and was very comfortable. Cant say enough nice things about our hosts. You can tell a lot about them by the way they beautifully decorated the cabin. They even stopped by just to say hi and went out of their way to make sure everything was perfect. Thank you Coach and Carla! I hope to get a chance to visit again. The cabin itsel
