lovely home but dishwasher was broker and cleaning dishes for 9 people is a pain. There was a leak and we had to have bucket catch water. it was reported the day we got there but nobody came to fix so we just threw away water and kept filling up. The cleanliness of the floors were not great and when we arrived garbage cans were not employed .

The outside was very dirty. One of the umbrellas was knocked down. The quality of appliances were very poor. The garbage disposal hardly worked. The kitchen did not have rags,

Everything was great, Recommendation. Scrub back deck and tables prior to having guest. Note: I understand there are birds and ducks but, a little bit more clean and sanitary wipes more paper towels and napkins would be great. Other than the minor things we really truly enjoyed the stay..

We stayed at this property recently and we were disappointed by the cleanliness, old kitchen cooking utensils, old mattresses. The property is beautiful, but it needs to be cleaned better. There were so many spider webs throughout the entire home. It has a beautiful kitchen, but the problem is it's got old cooking utensils that are health hazardous. The plastics are peeling off the spatulas. The pots were extremely old and dirty. We couldn't find any oven mitts to use the Viking stove for baking. The mattresses were old with foam on top, which a couple of our family members noticed. This home is advertised as a luxury lake front property with boat dock but you have to walk for a while to get to the lake. Big Bear Lake water level has gone down a lot so don't expect to see the lake water as close as the pictures shown on VRBO.

The house isn’t suitable for 12 people to start with. All beds are full size not even queen and only 2 beds full one king and one bunk bed. For a family with 6 children this won’t work out for you… no way to fit 12 unless you like to spend the nights on the couch . The house had so many spider webs, dead spiders, maybe because it was closed for too long and wasn’t cleaned well. Pots and kitchen utensils aren’t in good shape to be used. You can hear every step and voice in this house so don’t hope for a good night sleep unless you and your crew are in silent mode. Location was nice but the deck was very dirty… couches and beds might have had ticks or bed bugs because everyone itches a lot after the first night. Sorry but mostly sleeping and cleaning issues is what’s wrong with this house.

The check-in process was not pleasant. After 5 hours in traffic, we were forced to drive to the management's office to sign disclosures and documents, as if they could not be done online. We were excited but an hour of delay did not kill the mood. Upon arrival we started to find the rooms and the first alert was bathroom door downstairs (only bathroom there) does not lock. (took a video). As we continued checking in, we found out that the carpet in the downstairs bedroom was fealty, dust around the bed and everywhere. Started to look into the bedroom sheets/linen and got shocked .... old, CHEAP sheets, pillow cases (took pic). The high end bedding/linens, as well as high end furnishing description is an exaggeration. The living room sofas are dirty and old. The upstairs bathrooms were nicely upgraded but doors in bed/bathrooms had large gaps. (was not really concerned about that). The kitchen was full of old/deeply scratched, health hazard pans/pots (took pics). The location is great, with a nice, beautiful outdoor setting and view of the lake. Everything considered, we would never stay here again for the price we paid.

Overall the house is nice, though a larger refrigerator would help. Also, the bunk room is very stuffy and doesn’t have windows that open. But the home was clean and nicely appointed and in a very pretty location. The deck and grassy area are wonderful spots to sit and read or play games and gaze at the lake. The dock is in very shallow water so don’t plan to jump off it for a swim.
