Loved the trail following the river right on the property. There's plenty of area for sleeping accomodations, beautiful reservation areas for hiking, and delicious food short distances away!

Pictures clearly show that there are ladders to use the loft. I had twisted my knee and could not climb up so we were not able to sleep on a bed. We tried the sofa bed and it is terrible. Lots to pay to sleep on the floor! Cabin is cute, but could use some update and linens could use a renew. Many of the dishes were cracked or chipped and the pans were very old. All said we would rate it a c- for the cost They did leave a sweet Vermont gift that we enjoyed.

The cabin was comfortable. The temperature was good. Loved having the trail for picturesque dog walks. The owner was easy to communicate with and responded immediately when we shared a concern for ice on driveway. The location wS convenient to skiing.

This was our second time staying at the Stetson Hollow Cabin and we continue to adore it! The center of the experience is the flagstone fireplace rather than a television screen. The cabin has everything you need for a lovely stay for 2-4 people. We recommend it highly!

Jill was an amazing host. Allowing us to check in early, super responsive when we had questions about where to eat, etc. and the accommodations were exactly as described! The cottage was fantastic for our family if 3, plus a dog. The pup loved the fireplace for sure Thank you for everything!

Our stay was wonderful! The cabin feels remote, but it is easy to find. Every detail is so well curated that it would be wonderful to live there! The hosts were lovely and excellent communicators. Left us a welcoming note, as well as Vermont-made goodies: cheese, crackers and chocolates.The stone fireplace is the star of the show! There were stacks of dry wood on the porch, fireplace tools and a well drawing chimney. Right across from the cabin is a babbling(rushing while we were there) brook, with chairs to sit to enjoy. There are many books available for times when we were ready to cozy up in front of the fire. Wish we could have stayed longer!

The cabin location was ideal for us , very convenient to outings and very cozy in a gorgeous setting .

It’s an authentic cabin in the woods and it was just as I hoped it would be - amazing! The owners Jill and John were very friendly and helpful.

Truth be told our weekend was so busy. Our only time in the cabin was spent showering and sleeping. It’s really a very cozy couples “getaway from it all” type of place. The owners Jill and John are excellent. Thank you.

Beautiful cozy cabin with everything you need. Set on lovely property with access to National Park lands a very short walk a way. Hosts couldn't have been nicer. Definitely recommend this place.

Only stayed one night but we had a great time. Would’ve loved to been there longer.

Property was just as described. Quaint, comfortable beds, fireplace with wood, complete kitchen with attention to detail. The skylight from bed gives you a first rate view of stars at night. Managers were communicative. Nice trail right from cabin. It’s a five star accommodation.

Cute cabin on beautiful property! The trail behind the main property house was so beautiful and peaceful, we walked it everyday with our pup. Honestly, Vermont is so beautiful everywhere you look and we made good use of our surroundings. The cabin is really well situated close to places to visit without having to drive far and the local food was excellent. Jill was a pleasure to communicate with and a great resource for where the locals like to go. I took one star off for overall experience but that was on me since I didn't pay enough attention to the listing that showed the access ladders for the loft bedrooms. Slept on the sofabed so not a problem and still enjoyed our stay very much!

Enjoyable stay, rustic cabin with all the comforts of home. Stetson brook felt wonderful on the few hot days, as did the nearby Mad River swimming holes. Glad I was able to experience the legendary Warren Independence Day parade, which included a Bernie Sanders sighting. Jill and John were great hosts, always available for questions.

Close to everything - downtown Warren/Waitsfield, swimming, and biking trails. Perfect space for the weekend.

My best friend and I came to the cute cabin. We got to see lots of Vermont items that are nearby.

This little cabin nails it. Charming log-cabin decor with two comfortable beds in lofts. You can look out the skylights to the trees (and the stars) while lying in bed. The kitchen has everything you need - perhaps not ideal for cooking huge meals but great for breakfast and other basic meals. The fireplace and wood stove are huge bonuses, and Jill and John keep it stocked with everything you need to build a fire. There's no television, which we saw as a huge bonus, and there is good wi-fi. It's a quick and easy 10-minute drive to the Sugarbush main base area. Jill is the consummate host with clear communication and great recommendations. We will absolutely be back!

We loved or stay in the Stetson Hollow cabin! We enjoyed building a cozy fire on a snowy night close to Sugarbush Mountain after a long day of traveling. The cabin was just as expected, clean and comfortable with an easy check in/out process. The host was lovely and easy to communicate with. Would definitely stay again in the future!

Loved everything about this cabin between the stars at night to the wood burning fireplace it was perfect for us. And the hosts Jill and John were beyond accommodating and really easy on point with anything I might have needed. Proximity to Sugarbush and Mad river Glen rounded it all out to be Perfect.

Such a great cozy mountain cabin with a beautiful stone fireplace well stocked with plenty of dry wood and kindling- all that’s needed for the perfect après-ski setting. Add a glass of wine to the host-provided Vermont cheese and crackers and you’re set for the evening. Initially concerned that the cabin was right on Rte 100 but very quiet and peaceful. Never heard any road noise. The two loft bedrooms are comfortable and functional accessed by ladder. Not a place for those with mobility issues.Host was attentive and check-in/check out a breeze. Five stars in my book! Thanks Jill and John.

Unique property close to town, hiking, skiing and waterfalls. Great hosts, very friendly and communicative. Pet friendly and provided ample firewood for enjoying our stay.

Cabin had everything we needed and more. We found it to be a great location for the small day trips we did to surrounding towns. Location is just gorgeous.

Enjoyed this cozy cabin for two nights. Location is easy access to small town shops (bought a fabulous piece of local art), firewood provided, beds comfortable, near a road but very quiet. Cabin had everything we needed. Jill and John are lovely hosts. We’ll be back!

We were able to explore central Vermont from this wonderful, secluded location.

Celebrated our 20th anniversary and had a wonderful stay. Property was beautiful and steps to a lovely brook. Hiking and exploring adventures nearby. Warm, toasty fire to snuggle up by in the evenings. Thank you for the wonderful vacation and we can’t wait to return!

Truly a well appointed, comfortable cabin! Sits right adjacent to the National Forest, and is yet an easy drive to Warren and Wakefield if desired or needed for food and other provisions. This was a return visit. And, we'll be back again!

Very beautiful setting, nice rustic cabin. Was clean but a little spider webby. The sleeping loft beds were pretty comfortable and the hosts left a welcome basket with some treats. Wish we had a little more time to be here and enjoy the beautiful river across the way.
