Steel Mill Industrial cabin was a great place to stay. We enjoyed the sauna, massage chair and the hot tub. Very clean and everything was in perfect working order.

Our stay at Steel Mill Industrial was very comfortable and relaxing. The cabin was very clean, well decorated and well stocked with all cooking utensils, towels, blankets etc. Nice deck with gas grill, gas fire ring and hot tub. We highly recommend.

Everything was as advertised, or better. The cabin was very clean, nicely decorated, everything functioned as it should, and everything we could have possibly needed was provided. Communications with host were excellent and timely. The guidebook provided was detailed and provided all necessary information. The amenities made for a comfortable and relaxing stay. This cabin is truly “A Cut Above”. The location is also excellent, just minutes from Logan and near all area attractions. We will certainly look to stay at a “A Cut Above” property the next time we visit this area.

Overall had a wonderful stay. Especially appreciated the amenities that were provided for the kitchen and cooking. We stayed in the fall and our only suggestion would be a retractable awning over the hot tub.

We just stayed in the Steel Mill Industrial cabin for the third year in a row as a quick late September getaway and recharge. This has become an annual trip for my wife and I and look forward to coming back next year and more more after that.

We loved being so close to the lake and not having to bring our own kayaks. The lights on the trees at night were a nice surprise when using the hot tub . Was a very relaxing experience.

The property inside and out was very clean and very inviting. Everything advertised was delivered with a comfortable bed and cozy living room with a great view of the wooded area. The outdoor space offered two chairs, gas fire table and grill. This was a great place to start your morning with a hot coffee overlooking the wooded area. We enjoyed the use of the kayaks on the lake that were included. The property is centrally located to all the local attractions and is easy to navigate. Evelyn's consistent communication prior and during our stay was very informative and made the check-in and check-out process easy. My wife and I highly recommend this vacation getaway. We will be back in 2026!

Beautiful & serene.

We booked the Steel Mill Industrial cabin from Cut Above Cabins at Lake Logan for our anniversary and it did not disappoint! Very clean and beautifully kept, it even had a loft with a 2-person sauna, massage chair, and a hot tub on a private back deck surrounded by trees. Our rental also included access to kayaks, mountain bikes, and numerous fire pits on the property. There was even a small beach to launch the kayaks from or to fish from. My husband loved that he could fish from any of the shoreline of Lake Logan, and even caught a catfish from the kayak launching beach. This cabin was also minutes away from Logan, Ohio and The Hocking Hills State Parks so we were able to get a lot of hiking in and try out new restaurants. The Hocking Hills Inn & Coffee Emporium was also a half mile from our cabin which was very convenient. We would highly recommend Cut Above Cabins if you're looking for a getaway without kids and pets, as kids and pets are not allowed. This makes for a very calm and quiet getaway which was much needed for us. Thank you, Cut Above Cabins!

We had a wonderful stay at Cut Above Cabins! Perfect for a romantic escape—peaceful, clean, and cozy. After long hikes, the hot tub, sauna, and massage chair were amazing. Great amenities and a beautiful setting. Highly recommend!

This cabin is so pretty! The grounds the entire lodge is set on are spectacular! We arrived to a beautiful, clean and welcoming cabin. We cooked all of our meals there and enjoyed the amenities including the canoe. It was a very relaxing time-such attention to detail. May is a fabulous time to visit the area, Hocking Hills hikes in the morning, then relax in the hot tub or sauna before dinner. Evelyn and her crew are a “cut above”😃

Perfect place for a short weekend getaway! This is a definite go back. The weather wasn't great so we didn't get to experience the lake with the bikes and kayaks. The hot tub was super clean and very relaxing.

We enjoyed the stay. It was a very lovely cabin. Not as secluded as we thought it was going to be. The spiral staircase was a bit difficult to navigate so we just avoided the massage chair and sauna which are in the loft. Very comfortable bed and a great shower.

Gorgeous place to stay for the weekend to get away from everyone. Amazing hiking trails all around and access to a lake right next to the area we stayed at. Couldn’t ask for a better experience and stay.

The cabin was cozy and adorable, just like the pictures.Bonus was the massage chair! But, our favorite was the fairy light display, outside, while in the hot tub!LOVED, LOVED, LOVED it, very magical!

The pictures sell it as a large cabin. It is a unit inside of a cabin styled/themed motel (4 units in total). You are staying in a quadplex, not a cabin. That said the inside of the unit was nice, the hot tub was great in the snow, and the massage chair upstairs was just what we needed. The sauna was tiny and missing lights (not very inviting). The cabin had a small kitchen but it was great for my wife and I. Overall a beautiful property and place to stay and the fireplace is only light-up with a mist machine to give an illusion. Firewood is not needed on the premises.

Nothing but good things to say about this property and the owner. She was very helpful as well as quick at answering questions or concerns and that only arose from an email issue that was solved almost instantly after I reached out to her. Will highly recommend this place to anyone!

Loved the hot tub and the sparkling light show in the trees at dark. Peaceful! Cozy accommodations and loved the big shower. Very clean and nicely decorated. No fires because of the fire ban with the dry conditions but maybe next time!

The pictures vs in person were exactly the same! The place was a bit smaller than anticipated but so clean. The bed was so comfortable. The couch not so much. We wanted a relaxing weekend doing nothing so sitting on the couch made that tough at times. But overall great! Very close to the trails.

We just completed a quick 2 day getaway at the Steel Mill Industrial cabin and it was just the right amount of rest and relaxation we were needing. This is the second year in a row we have stayed in the Steel Mill Industrial cabin and we plan to make this a yearly late summer/early fall retreat to rest and rewind before the busy holiday season begins. This cabin is the cleanest rental anywhere that we have ever stayed in with all upscale amenities.

This property is a gem!! We absolutely loved every minute of our stay!! The cabin is just as beautiful as the photos if not more. Having access to bikes, kayaks and all the other amenities was wonderful. We can't wait to stay again.

Beautifully decorated with everything you needed to relax and cook. Saunna , massage table and chair. And the 5 seat hot tub. 5 stars 100% Lake Logan fishing and boating on point. Loved it will be back again to visit another property ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️

just an overall beautiful, relaxing place very compfortable would come back for sure!!

The property is nice, but the photos are a bit misleading, ie. shot with a very wide-angle camera Lense. The entire cabin footprint would fit in our family room. My bad for not seeing this. The stay was good, but the barrage of emails from the owner took any fun out of the stay. They are either lawyers or have been burned by guests in the past. Multiple emails with the rules and check out times and the penalties that come with violating the rules. I get it, but you took any potential fun out of the stay. Now this is more a me thing, but it was OVER decorated trying to be unique and cute. Every horizontal surface is full of stuff. It's hard to use the limited space when you have no place to hang clothes, for your toiletries or even to enjoy a meal. Honestly, with the barrage of rules in the emails, we didn't want to move anything to make room, for fear of being charged. In the end, the cabin is nice and if you want to sleep in a movie set with little room to relax, then you'll love it.

What Luxurious cabin, quiet location, beautiful setting on a quiet lake

This cabin was amazing and perfect for a weekend getaway with my husband. The first time in my life I have ever been to a cabin with top of the line cookware! There was nothing cheap or worn out about the place! The little cabin was decorated beautifully and the extras like sauna and massage chair added bonuses. The area surrounding the cabin was absolutely beautiful. The different rentals are close but situated such that your feel like your all alone in your own piece of the lake. We enjoyed an evening out on the lake and rowed over to a music concert. We are planning a call return and hope to stay in the same cabin! Definitely a 5+star VRBO!!!

Loved the location. Close to highway and amenities in Logan but quiet setting. Though it is part of a “4-plex” we had privacy. Great shower. Comfortable bed. Hot tub and massage chair were great treats after hiking.
