Starview Lodge -A Real Log Cabin with Large Deck and Forest Views

It is a beautiful cabin, cozy and comfortable. It has plenty of space, kitchen and bathrooms were very clean. Communication was clear and promptly.

This property worked extremely well for my family that ranged in ages from twenties through eighties. Being able to drive my parents up to the door and have them walk into the house and their bedroom without any steps was perfect. Stocking the kitchen with food was also easy because of the wonderful access. We had everything we really needed except a pitcher which we donated. We loved the ambiance of the log home with fireplaces and forest. We would stay again if we ever have a need for the family to meet in Flagstaff, AZ.

We have stayed at a lot of private home rentals and this is our favorite! The property immaculate and clean, but it is also well cared for and has really neat elements. The kitchen was well stocked with pots & pans, plates & cups/mugs, and other kitchen appliances. When we had an issue, we contacted the property manager who was very responsive and helpful, and check out was a breeze. We loved the cabin and would love to stay again!

We loved our stay as this amazing home. Everything was perfect. Open concept, super clean and comfy. The sunsets from the back porch were amazing. The location was perfect, quiet neighborhood, nearby walking trails, easy on/ off highway with gas, and services close by. It is a very short drive to all that Flagstaff has to offer and an hour to Sedona’s charm. Our host was available if needed. Check in was simple and very easy. Highly recommended. We will be back to our new home away from home.

The cabin was very clean. The properly manager was clear and concise with instructions. Our family of 6 and our pets had plenty of space and were very comfortable. Neighborhood was VERY quiet. Short drive to many amenities. Back patio perfect for stargazing.

We had one more amazing stay. See you next year.

Everything was excellent but the bed just needs a better mattress

We stayed at this gorgeous cabin for 3 nights. We were in Flagstaff for a family wedding. We used all 4 bedrooms with 2 adults in each bedroom and an 8 month old baby. This is a perfect Property and location. Well maintained and very large family room and kitchen with plenty of amenities. Everyone hate fabulous time!

We absolutely LOVED staying in this beautiful cabin. It was perfect for us because it was in a very quiet and peaceful neighborhood and close to downtown Flagstaff. We were very comfortable and the owner, Matt, was incredibly kind and very very nice. We hope to book this cabin next year with our son and daughter-in-law so that they too can enjoy this beautiful home and location.

Beautiful cabin!

This was our first experience with VRBO and I couldn't have gotten a better place. There was plenty of room for everyone and we especially liked the back porch. As a matter of fact that is where we spent the majority of our time. It was quiet, clean and even got to see some deer off the back patio. Our host was quick to respond to any questions. Definitely gonna make this a yearly thing.

This is a beautiful property! The house is just like it is listed, it has a spacious main living area & plenty of space for everyone to spread out in. Matt was super responsive & polite. It's in a great location, only 5-10 minutes to Flagstaff & easy access to everything.

We stayed here for my daughter’s wedding. It is a perfect location. Very quiet neighborhood. It had everything we needed and downtown Flagstaff is super close by for shopping and dining.

Just as advertised. Everything worked and plenty of signage so you did not have to guess as to how things worked. Beautiful property and very quiet setting.

Booked this property for our family to celebrate our sons graduation from NAU. Was close to town but away from the traffic of the move out/graduation events taking place. Plenty of room to come back and have a dinner with family and friends after graduation. Property is beautiful in a quiet neighborhood.

Just ok

I am someone who has high expectations, search many homes before renting & love my outdoor space. This home exceeded my expectations & the pictures on VRBO don't do it justice as the home has beautiful living room windows overlooking a massive deck (pictures were a little dark or home appeared dark inside). Things I loved: Big open living room, kitchen & dining area. The patio/deck was massive as noted in the listing & all we heard was the wind whispering through all the trees! I looked forward to the sunsets while relaxing on the patio deck (we did bring our own lounge/gravity chairs for more comfort) - ample table/chairs provided & we enjoyed breakfasts & dinner outside. Home was in a quiet neighborhood. I will defiantly rent this home again & will refer it to friends. Thanks again for a great stay.Karen

The log cabin overall was nice and fairly comfortable. The beds and furniture in the home could be upgraded. Seems like they just tossed in whatever furniture they had as extras. Except for the dining room table it was big and fit all of us. I’m not sure if it was because nobody has stayed there in a while, but there was some mouse droppings in cabinets and drawers. So we definitely had to wash everything before using.

Our family had a great time in this cozy cottage. We got to have a little bit of fun in the snow this year for spring break.

This log cabin house was absolutely gorgeous. Everything was so clean so comfortable. The beds were comfortable. Everything was accommodating. We just loved it. The house is stunning everything about it is just beautiful our host, Matt. Was great. we went there as a family to celebrate our son‘s 30th birthday and had the best time. Great memories were made. I highly recommend this beautiful log cabin house. The price was perfect. We all around. Had a great time and would love to come stay at this house again thank you Matt for your beautiful home. We had the best time ever the place was immaculate accommodating in every way the snow was perfect. The outer deck is gorgeous. It was fully stocked with everything that you could possibly need. This is a great place to stay if you’re going to Flagstaff.

Great location to explore Northern Arizona attractions. We enjoyed the recommended restaurants and were comfortable at the cabin.

Great place for family vacation/gathering!

Great place to stay -close to snowbowl as the kids went snowboarding and we hiked with the dogs. Kitchen is spacious so we could have meals together.

First time users on Vrbo and let me tell you…it was a great experience! Place was just as described and seen from the pictures. Process of check in and check out was simple and easy. There were rules which we expected and they were simple and didn’t cause any issues with any of us to follow. Place with clean and organized. Also good amount of stuff provided for our use(tried not to use anything). Amazing few days and will use again in later future! Thank you for providing us with an amazing time!!!

Very spacious for my family. Very quiet at night. Heats well in all areas. Easy access to Flagstaff amenities.

This was the most amazing getaway when it comes to living in the city with 4 kids

One bed was lumpy, the other was hard, another was saggy and only one was just right. My daughter is 18 and she woke up like a 81 year old! One of us ended up sleeping on the couch which was more comfortable than any of the beds. You should buy a new plunger too because the one provided was wood which was cracked, which could not unplug a toilet if it tried… The view and location were beautiful! But the cabin could use some maintenance. Unfortunately the oven was nasty. It needs a deep clean. You were worried about people using the fireplace to roast marshmallows, but I think you should be more worried about what people stick in the oven. One another note; one of the steps was wobbly, it is not bad right now but could pose a future problem FYI. The cabin itself was nice but the wood needs to be sealed so the house/cabin doesn’t fall into disarray. We enjoyed our stay and our time up there. please don’t get us wrong, it was fun. I just didn’t want to be blamed for all the problems in the cabin so I took pictures and waited patiently.

The property was extremely clean and comfortable with a log home appeal in a forest with a mountain view. The large deck was an evening retreat to watch the stars. We loved it.

My family stayed at the cabin from Sept. 14th -21st. The cabin was located in a quiet neighborhood and was everything that it was advertised to be. We were centrally located so we were too not far from the Grand Canyon and everything that we wanted to visit. Weather...this was our first time in Arizona, so we enjoyed the enjoyed the cool mornings at the cabin. There is no central air-conditioning, but the cabin does have heating, so we were never uncomfortable once it warmed up during the day. The cabin has a full-size washer & dryer, so we were able to keep up with our laundry. Large kitchen with everything that you need in it. We loved it here and will definitely come back to Arizona in the future!! Thanks for the memories!! -- The Louisiana People!

The cabin was perfect for our stay! My daughter was getting married so we booked this site to be close to the wedding venue and it worked perfectly!!

Very nice cabin, spacious, very well stocked. Had a wonderful 2 week stay, the surrounding area is beautiful. Enjoyed walking the neighborhoods, did several scenic trails and local hikes. Good kitchen, decent bathrooms, comfortable living area, and nice deck surrounding the entire cabin. Some of the furniture needs updating. Overall, a real nice place. I would definitely try to stay there again for future trips to Flagstaff.
