Starr Valley Cabin is a 2 Bedroom Cabin 1/2 mile to Old Mans Cave State Park

The cabin was clean and had all the necessary things. The hot tub was fun. It was only a couple minutes from where the hiking trails started. It was exactly what we were looking for and we will definitely come back!

It was just amazing all around!

Super clean, cozy, the property contact responded quickly to our question. Property has a great location, however was also quiet, private. Beds were comfortable. Kitchen had everything you would need. Satellite TV was good. We did not use the hot tub. We highly recommend this cabin.

Loved all the amenities. Secluded location. Full kitchen, propane or charcoal grill, fire pit, hot tub, Adirondack chairs/ table on porch, butterfly plants/ butterflies.

The hot tub and fire pit were great. The surroundings were private and Old Man’s Cave was just down the road.

Loved the cabin and amenities were great. All the comforts of home in a quiet, secluded area. Full kitchen, hot tub, both charcoal and gas grills, picnic table, fire ring... and a little creek bubbling out back. Owners were available for questions and anything we needed. We actually decided to stay an extra night, as it was so close to areas of interest that we wanted more time to explore. We will definitely be back!

Very cute cottage. Very clean. Great location. The only negative was that there was only 1 dish cloth and 1 dish towel available. I went to Dollar Tree to buy some additional towels and a fresh sponge to wash dishes with. I would love to stay again.

This cabin is perfectly located for a short walk to many trails/destinations in the area. Check-in was smooth and the hosts were friendly (there was a power outage earlier). Loved our weekend getaway!

Everything we could need was available at the property. It was very clean and the owners were wonderful. The grill ran out of propane and within 5 minutes of messaging they arrived with a replacement.

Nice cabin close to many hiking trails. Little stream by the house made for a pleasant place to enjoy a morning coffee. Kitchen is well equip. The cabin could use a deep cleaning. Overall, was everything I was hoping it to be.

This is my second time booking with Pat and there will be plenty more! It is so convenient to be able to walk to the trails and have so much privacy! My dog loves all the space she has to run!

This was our second year in a row spending the week between Christmas and New Years here. We loved it as much as last time. This year we got some snow and there were some power outages due to high winds and downed trees in the area, the host was great about checking in and kept offering extra blankets lights etc. which was very sweet. They can’t control the weather and we were prepared with extras just in case because we understood it was winter and Hocking can get severe weather sometimes. We had a great time hanging out playing games by candlelight and we’re still plenty warm. My only suggestion is a new microwave may be in order.

Everything was good but I would suggest to have more than one rioll of toilet paper.

Great little cabin. Lots of privacey. Only negatives that the kitchen isnt very well equipped and the oven turned on but didn't really work. Other than that, great stay!

The location of the cabin being so close to Old Man's Cave and the Hocking Hills Visitor's Center is really cool and convenient. The cabin is a little rustic but very functional. It allowed my wife and I to have a much needed rest and relaxation after a long fall semester. The owners were very responsive via text and phone call to deal with any issues and even promptly delivered a fresh set of towels for us when we asked for it. Some suggestions that would have made the stay better:- may be good to upgrade the grill since the heating elements are disintegrating and the metal grill itself has some broken parts. I was still able to use it, but it needs an upgrade.- the cabin needs a cutting board, scissors- some of the kitchen utensils may need to be replaced - some are really old and fragile. We were cooking an omelette and one of the spatulas just broke into 3 pieces while we were cooking.

Everything was perfect. Our cabin host thought of everything we might need and the location of Star Valley cabin was ideal. We lived out time spent in Hocking Hills and will be back …. And use Vrbo again

Overall, it was a great property. A few things were quirky - like the extreme heat in the one bedroom, and the bathroom sink faucet, but everything was clean and working. The hot tub is a very nice addition!

Excellent central location just minutes away from several easy hikes. Attentive hosts. Everything was as promised. Perfectly comfortable with AC and Hot Tub a bonus. Nice that there are two (2) bedrooms.

We had a very nice long weekend! Cabin is so close to everything but felt so quiet and peaceful! We enjoyed watching the deer, sipping coffee on the porch and had a fire in the fire pit. Hannah was so good communicating and the whole process was very simple! Would stay again!

The cabin had a smell that made my friend nauseous. It was a good thing I had brought incense or we would not have been able to stay there. The hot tub was so strong a smell of chlorine I could go in it. The lamp in the bedroom had a broken switch - should have been replaced prior to someone staying there.

Wonderful cabin! Clean with all the extras. The host is amazing with communicationd as well. Highly recommend and we will back back soon!

The property was great. We enjoyed all it had to offer, gas grill, charcoal grill, fire pit and hot tub. The location to the park was excellent.

The house was a great location. Hot tub was nice. It could use more kitchen items but we made it work. The only disappointment was the air didn’t keep bedrooms cool. The unit is on wall in living room.

There was a lot of mold around freezer door. Bath tub was stained along with bathroom floor needing repair. It wasn’t really dirty but the needed repairs made it look dirty. The beds were very uncomfortable. Side porch with hot tube needing to look more appealing, for that we didn’t even use the hot tube. Owner was very nice. Not enough silverware so we had to go buy some. Only had 2 of each and there was 3 of us so we had to share . Not enough towels .

Cabin is perfect for anyone needing 2 bedrooms plus. Very clean, kitchen has anything needed for you to bring your own groceries and cook, including a couple of grills outside. Really enjoyed the hot tub after a long day of hiking. The front porch is great for just sitting out and enjoying the solitude. Got to see some deer. Feels secluded, but close to walking trails, old man’s cave, and anything else is just a short drive with great scenery. Owners were available in case we needed anything. I would definitely stay here again. Thank Patrick and Hannah!!!

Wonderful place. Quite watched deer in the field morning and night. Place conveniently located to everything close. Cabin is gorgeous clean and convenient full stove with oven regular refrigerator with coffee pot or Keurig. Loved our stay

Very live location. Very quiet. The porch was great and internet works better when the router is on top of the fridge.

This is our second time staying at starr vally. We will be back next year as well.

Super cute little cabin right off the main road and a 1/2 mile from Old Man’s Cave and not too far from the great coffee and restaurants. Thoughtful touches throughout the cabin and the hot tub was wonderful after a long day of hiking.

My best friend and I take a girls weekend trip every year and this weekend was wonderful. The location was quiet , comfy and clean. The hot tub was our go to every evening. Huge plus property is easy access to all the local attractions. Thanks to Patrick and the family for answering our texts so quickly when we asked for extra towels. I would definitely stay here again!

I loved the place, however couldn't get into the cabin without the security code. I had to call the sheriff dept to get the name of the owner. He did come eventually. He also said vrbo was suppose to send me the code via email. I never got it.

This cabin was perfect for me and my husband. It is 1/2 mile from the main entrance to Hocking Hills park and a quick drive to Logan. The size of the cabin is perfect for a couple (maybe a small family). We were able to make all our meals at the cabin and the hot tub was perfect for after a long day hiking. The host is very nice and responsive! We would definitely stay here again!

We had a wonderful weekend stay at this cozy little cabin. Just enough to unplug and find some peace. Kids enjoyed the hot tub and looking for animals and bugs ourside. Cute little crick out back. We didnt end up bringing our dog but she would have been very happy here with lots of space to run outside. Cabin was clean and close to Old Man’s cave. Communication was super easy! Thanks again!

This cabin was clean, well taken care of and had everything we needed. Gas grill, hor tub, full refridgerator, etc. The locatio. Was great/near the trails. The only thing we had issue with were borer bees in front of the property which were only a minor annoyance until the second night when they decided to visit the hot tub.

The cabin was centrally located, beautifully decorated. We love the fire pit and hot tub. We loved the lay of the land and how much room my fur kids had to play and run. We’ll be back

Cabin was just as advertised. It was really close to Hocking Hills Park but didn't feel like it was surrounded by people. The hot tub was clean and felt private. Would go again!

The cabin has a large hot tub, very clean and comfortable furnishings/bed. Their is a lot of private land to walk around.

Great location right in the middle of Hocking Hills with close access to all the hiking trails. Hot tub was fantastic after a ling day hiking. 2 issues that we had were the strong smell of cigarettes in the cabin and the black mold on the ceiling in the bathroom

A couple of nights over new years to relax and celebrate our semi-official elopement. Great location close to Old Man's Cave. Nearly private (one neighbor up the hill would have been invisible with leaf cover). Spent a lot of time soaking in the hot tub.

Nothing is super “close” compared to what we’re used to in the suburbs but this location is PERFECT. Great proximity to the essentials and great trails. We’re not avid hikers but being right around the corner from so many great achievable spots was awesome. This cabin is all you need for a quick getaway. Super clean, great management, hot tub is. Lean and relaxing, WiFi works great and really no complaints overall!

House was exactly as described. Host was easy to reach when we could not find out access code(our error) plus they called to let us know we could get in early. Perfect for our weekend getaway. Very good location! We enjoyed the hot tub and fire pit. Kitchen had tons of items for use but we could have used a cutting board. Also a couple more hot tub towels would be nice. Overall we enjoyed our stay and would book again.

Had everything we needed

From the time we listed, Patrick and Hannah were in communication with us about what we can expect from them and their property. The cabin was perfect for our trip with our friends. We had everything we needed when we arrived and it was great knowing that we could contact the owners at any time. The proximity to all the great hiking trails that Hocking Hills has to offer was definitely the best part about this location, but coming home after a long day of hiking and enjoying the cozy cabin and hot tub was just a huge bonus. We will definitely be back!

The cabin was perfect for a two night stay with me and my sister. The hot tub was the best part! The host communicated with me before check in and check out. I accidentally left art that i bought and she called me right away. The cabin was clean and had everything we needed. It felt like you were secluded even though there were houses close. The location was perfect and close to all the trails. I would like to come back in the Spring and see the waterfallls!

Great privacy and better location! Has everything you need including a Keurig and 12 cup coffee maker. It's off the road far enough you don't hear traffic. Highly recommended, we plan to visit again earlier in the year and we will definitely see if this is available again.

We had an awesome time at this cabin secluded in the woods, the kitchen was fully furnished with everything needed to make meals and the linens and towels were provided. We had full access to cable and there was even a beautiful hot tub on the side porch which came in handy after a long day of hiking....Hannah our host, was absolutely the greatest calling once and checking to make sure we had everything we needed during our stay. We will definitely recommend to friends and we plan on returning in the future.

First time visiting the area. The hiking trails were beautiful and everything was close to the cabin. My husband, puppy, and I had plenty of room. Friends visited one evening and after a long day of hiking we made use of the hot tub. Would definitely stay here again.

We really enjoyed our stay at this property and would stay here again. The only issue was the oven doesn't cook well, but not a dealbreaker. Everything we needed was available in the cabin, we were very happy.

I brought my son and his girlfriend here to do some hiking at Hocking Hill State Park and the surrounding area. The cabin itself was very cozy and cute and provided everything we needed. We had a visit from a local cat named Bruce, which made the trip even more special! All of the area’s great hiking is very close by to this cabin 😎 The owners were very, very friendly and easily accessible via phone or text. 😊
