StarGazer 2.0 FARM cottage, just 20 mins to hocking hills. w/fast internet

Will go again!!! Loved the animals and 3 dogs would come and hang with us!! Just with I knew their names

It was a cute place but was lacking towels and wash clothes like advertised. Better to take your own. The ones they also had there were small size. It had two small towels and one washcloth. If you like you shower each day and not share a wash cloth then bring your own.

The pictures show what looks like a secluded cabin but in reality, you pull up to this driveway with another house and a barn, broken down trailer. Once you're inside the views in the back are very nice, but the property itself is not very inviting. The main thing was the heater wasn't warm enough we were freezing at night and especially in the morning. The firepit did not work it was blowing out the cold air. Also the fan and the ceiling around the whole house were very dusty. I think there's a well water because the shower smelled pretty bad. Overall it was ok but it needs an improvement.

This place was so great! The host was very responsive and accommodating. The bed was extremely comfortable. The fireplace made the whole place so cozy, we were worried coming up in January with all the glass that it would be chilly, but it was nice and warm. We had so much fun looking at the sheep and meeting the farm dogs. We always look forward to going back after our day of hikes. I would definitely stay here again!

Great and easy communication with host for this rental. Got a great view of the stars once the skies cleared for the night! Friendly dog to greet us. The Stargazer met our lodging needs for the night. Thank you for sharing it with us!

Cabin was perfect and really set up for relaxation. The property was perfectly tucked away and it felt very private. The host was very responsive for check in. The property was very clean when I got there and it was super easy to use the grill and fire pit. I highly recommend it!

My husband and I stayed for our two year anniversary, we enjoyed our stay SO MUCH! The views surrounding the property are even better than the photos and the interior was clean and comfortable. We loved seeing the dogs (there are four!!) and goats every day, they made it hard to leave! The host Rachelle was great and made sure we had everything we needed. We both can’t wait to come back!!!! Ps watch for shooting stars and the Milky Way at night!!! It was crystal clear for us!

Fantastic stay at the stargazer! Able to unplug, relax and unwind. Clean, quaint and cozy. So fun being on the farm with animals in all directions. Stunning views in the morning, beautiful sunset and star watching in the evening. Great proximity to Hocking Hills. Also close to Nelsonville, Wellston and Athens. Recommendation for guests who are sensitive to water would be bringing bottles or jugs, as I’m assuming the property does not have a softener. But this is simply a personal preference!

We enjoyed the goats, the sheep, the dogs, the birds and butterflies And the quiet.

I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at the Stargazer. I loved the simplicity of just being still and soaking in the peaceful surroundings — plus, the animals were absolutely hilarious! The house was perfect for someone like me who loves nature but prefers to enjoy it through the beautiful windows rather than being out in the elements.

Perfect if you want to get away from the crowds but still be close by some attractions. Surrounded by nature and nature sounds with birds, goats, a rooster crowing, and the hosts super friendly dogs! The place itself was clean, the bed was comfy, and the hosts were super responsive to anything we needed.

Very clean, peaceful location with some friendly dogs, cats, sheep and goats to keep you company. We were even joined by a friendly Tom turkey. We love animals and this was right up our alley. I sat by the campfire( wood provided) and picked guitar and we sang songs until the wee hours. Very nice stay. Only downside were the bees/wasps

This place is spectacular for peace and enjoying the country animals. The goats were super friendly and there is a sliding glass door that if you leave open, a cat will come in and make herself at home. The views are great and I would love to bring my husband back this fall for our anniversary!

Everything was as described in listing. Very quiet and relaxing. All the windows make it so nice to have the natural light inside during the day and just relax with nature.

We loved the quiet, secluded setting. It was just perfect for the 2 of us. The pets that visited us at the door were very welcoming and enjoyed the attention and love would recommend this location if looking for quiet alone time.

This cabin was perfect for my girlfriend and I! The space was cozy and very clean. We will definitely be going back in the future!
