Star view cabin-Riverfront

Great location for property. Beds are a little small for a couple and there was no towels for the shower or hot tub and did not know I needed to bring them, so had to drive to town to purchase B

The cabin was clean and cozy. We enjoyed the beautiful views from the deck, comfortable bed and well appointed kitchen. The host was receptive to questions we had and we enjoyed our stay.

Our family of 4 has been renting cabins for the last 6 years and this was far and away the best we've been to yet. The local attractions and scenic views are amazing. The view from the cabin is phenomenal. The access to water is so convenient. My kids are already planning our next visit.

We felt relaxed and comfortable as soon as we came through the door! The first thing we noticed was the the view from the living area with a fireplace in between, beautiful. Remote enough to feel like you're the only one's on the mountain, but close to Skyline, Shenandoah National Park, and Luray. The bed was so comfortable, perfect after a soak in the hot tub and sitting by the fire. Everything was just perfect, we will definitely stay again!

Cabin was clean and bright; they did not exaggerate the quality of the view. Communication with the host was clear and prompt prior to and during our stay. Kitchen appliances were all clean and in good working order. Able to cook basic meals with the utensils, dishes, and equipment on site. Guidance to the river is easy to follow and very worth it.

The Star View Cabin was so cozy! It was perfect for a couples getaway. Communication was great. Check-in/out was easy. The kitchen was perfect for cooking and easy meal. The hot tub has great views.

We had an amazing weekend, the views were perfect. The house was clean and cozy and the host was very nice and helpful. 10/10, we would definitely come back again.

The cabin is great, perfect for my wife and me. The bed was comfy and the gas fireplace was a plus. We also enjoyed the ease of access to the hot tub and the beautiful views. We loved being able to have our small dog with us, and she gave the experience two paws up! One thing would've been helpful, and that's a larger skillet. There was just one, and it was a bit small, even for the two of us.

The property is beautiful and the house is welcoming and cozy. The views are gorgeous, the beds are comfy, and the hot tub is amazing. We will definitely be back!!!

The host was exceptional and quick to respond to questions. Loved the cabin, it was in great condition, clean and very nicely set up. The views to the river and the mountains beyond were breath taking with the snow and ice from a recent storm.

We came during an unexpected snow storm and still had the best time. She came over to introduce herself to us and was absolutely amazing, welcoming, and accommodating to our needs during the storm and offered us an extra night if we got stuck. The cabin was the perfect size with the best Mountain View’s and the hot tub was perfect in the cold weather. Everything was clean and neat and we had everything we needed. She even gave us backup water, sleds, and things we needed in case of an outage. We will be back in the future!

My wife and I had a great stay at Star View Cabin – Riverfront. It was just what we were looking for. The cabin had awesome views of the mountains and the Shenandoah River. We enjoyed watching sunsets and viewing the bright stars from the night sky from the hot tub. We enjoyed walking down to the river each day and we saw many animals, deer, eagles, rabbits. One night we had three deer within 20 yards of us in the back yard and we watched them from the spacious windows and sliding glass door above for close to fifteen minutes. We also got to catch a brief snow storm with the mountains as a backdrop. The cabin was nice and warm and had a good layout. We enjoyed running the fireplace each night before bed and the bed was very comfortable. We were able to get out and do some antiquing at local shops Nina was a great host and she was able to answer our questions and she had thought about all of our needs before we got there. Thank you for a great stay. We will be back.

We had an awesome time at the cabin! The views are amazing. The cabin was spacious and clean. We loved the fire pit, fireplace, and hot tub. The cabin is in a perfect location close to Luray and the caverns and Shenandoah National Park. Highly recommend. We would definitely go back.

We had a great stay at this cabin! Spent most of our time visiting Shenandoah National Park. My only complaint is we couldn’t get the fireplace to turn on and there were a lot of cob webs mainly in the bathroom and kitchen. We were disappointed that we didn’t get to use the firepit due to the weather (rain and wind) but we had a lovely stay. Absolutely LOVED all the fall colors!! We don’t get that in Florida!

The view and hot tub are wonderful, and I really appreciate that this place allows dogs. That said, we didn’t find the home to be particularly clean. There was hair in the bathroom sink, dirt on the floors, and overall the home was dusty

Cozy cabin with a nice view, clean hot tub, full kitchen with everything we needed. We brought our own sheets and towels, washer, and dryer there which was helpful.

This property is in a beautiful and very peaceful location. It was very clean. I would 100% recommend this cabin to anyone who will be staying in or around the Rileyville area, you will not be disappointed.

I was very impressed with the beautiful view from the cabin. However, the cabin could have been a little cleaner. The toilet had not been cleaned after previous guest and the bathroom faucet needed to be wiped off. The previous guest left dishes in the dishwasher that we did not use because we did know if they were clean. Cabin WiFi was not good, the tv streaming services froze up a lot and we could not use more than one device at a time. I also did not like leaving the key in the key box every time we left the house. But overall the cabin met our needs for our weekend getaway. The hot tub under the stars was definitely a highlight of our stay. I would recommend this VRBO to others.

Nice cabin. Close to Liray Caverns but far enough away for peace and privacy. Neighbors a good distance away and never saw or heard them. Will stay again.

Great place. Worth the money.

The cabin was perfect for the two of us. Enjoyed mornings drinking coffee on the deck watching the sun touch the mountains. Heard ospreys every morning, and watched an eagles fly over the river. We hope to come back and experience it again!

The property and house was so so beautiful. Access to the river and the views of the mountains made it such a great trip. Really close to Shenandoah NP as well. We had a great time and really enjoyed our stay!

We really enjoyed our stay. Our visit was during some extremely hot weather and the house stayed nice and cool despite the heat outside. The bed was comfortable, we really enjoyed the movie theater seat style couch and the kitchen was equipped with enough dishes, pots etc.The views from the deck were so beautiful - better than some of the views at the national park! It was very serene, we enjoyed seeing the baby cows down the road, stargazing, and walking down to the river. The road to the house is gravel/rock so if you have a choice of vehicles go with something that is not low to the road.

The pictures on VRBO do not do this place justice. It is beautiful here. The view from the porch is absolutely amazing. Location is close to anything you need. We kayaked nearby, hiked, ziplined, and fished every night. My kids even braved the dark to try some catfishing! They are HUGE and plentiful from the fishing area! You feel very secluded there. We even saw the Milky Way! We grilled, watched movies and just had a wonderful time!

Quiet and Peaceful just what we needed

We spent 4 days using the cabin as a home base for hiking Shenandoah National Park, but we could have stayed on the property the whole time for how beautiful it was. The mountain views were absolutely spectacular and stole the show as they were visible from large windows in the entire home including the master bedroom. The house was warmly welcoming and very clean. The host was gracious and had invaluable tips for canoe rentals and even offered insider knowledge on the best spot in the river to set a chair and read. The river was only a short walk away, and the house being up on a hill made seeing the views all the more possible, so I don't think there could be a better location for a vacation home. The hot tub was the cherry on top as a relaxing way to end a long day of hiking, as it also faces the mountains and the sunset. Only a short drive to the Luray caverns and restaurants. All we can think about is returning. We have no complaints except that the trip had to end!

This property is incredible, the mountain views plus the river access makes this place feel like a resort. Here are some tips:-If you're adults escaping a toddler and trying to sleep in, bring a sleeping mask, the morning sun is bright!-At the river there are trails, if you go to the right (facing the river) there is a rocky area that is great for stepping into to cool off, no river mud (thinks Nina for tip!)-this place is amazing for fishing especially with kids, we caught countless fat sunnies and chased a huge muskie all weekend that we failed to catchThe location is great and if it had been a bit cooler we would've ventured into Shenandoah,, instead we enjoyed some air conditioned flea markets during the day and the views/fishing at night. Perfection.

We enjoyed our stay at the Star View Cabin. The view from the back deck was beautiful. I enjoyed seeing the rabbits and deer in the yard and area. We walked to the river, and sat for a while. It was nice. The beds were comfortable, the place was clean. I would stay here again.

My family loves Shenandoah NP and we’ve stayed at multiple places. This cabin was perfect for us! The views were amazing!

We came for a meteor shower, to find a cloudy sky. But the cozy home, clean air, and quiet made up for it in spades.I was honestly surprised when we checked in, the photos provided made the home seem much older than it is. Instead, we found a house that looked almost like it'd never been lived in. It was clean and well-kept. The kitchen was fully stocked and everything we used worked well.My only real complaint was that previous renters did not clean the kitchenware as well as they should have. Plates, utensils and pots had food residue on them. But it meant whoever washed the dishes in our case got to look out the window, small wins right?My spouse already wants to return. So perhaps we'll stay here in the future if the timing is right.

Beautiful views. Watched sunset and night sky full of stars from the back deck or with a glass of wine in the hot tub. The quiet and relaxation was just what we needed. The walk to the stream was too strenuous for my husband to do. Thought it would be easier access to the river.

Our second stay and just as fantastic as the first. The fireplace in winter just adds to the ambiance of this fantastic property. The dogs love the property as well as all of the wildlife that passes through. Despite the severe windstorm, the house remained cozy for all of us. Will definitely be back.

We experienced the beauty of a mountain snowstorm and it was awesome! We enjoyed the gorgeous view sitting by the fireplace and feeling super cozy. Nina the owner was so thoughtful, checking on us, suggesting a good place for our car during the storm so that we wouldn’t get stuck when it came time to go home, even cleaning our car off for us! very cute little place, would definitely stay again

I had a great time relaxing and the views were stunning! Linens and sugar in the cupboards would have been a nice touch. Hot tub had a broken knob.Could update appliances but otherwise it was exactly what I expected.

We loved our stay in the Star View Cabin. The cabin was clean and spacious. The area is very private but close enough to Luray or Front Royal if you need supplies. The fireplace and hot tub were wonderful and cozy. The host Nina was communicative and helpful. We would definitely return to this cabin!

Our family enjoyed our stay at this cabin. We were able to bring our dog and it was convenient to Luray and SNP. We enjoyed making a fire in the fire pit and gazing at all of the stars at night. It was also nice relaxing in the hot tub. The view from the deck was amazing. We hope to come back next year.

Great stay. Incredible views. Perfect weekend getaway. If you want to have a nice dinner bring your own glassware. Supplies were minimal in the house.

The location is perfect, the only criticism we'd have if that the appliances need updated. The kitchen was thin. But the place was very nice, very nice owner and beautiful views. I could definitely see my wife and I going back.

Despite being upfront about linens not being provided, the property felt a bit sparse like some necessities weren't considered. I do find it odd to not provide any linens or towels even if people are staying for a short period of time.

This spot was perfect for a relaxing weekend getaway. The house and the views were great and Nina is a great host.

My wife and I stayed and absolutely loved every minute here. The views are utterly breathtaking. The hot tub was amazing to enjoy the sunsets in. The river is just a short walk away and extremely tranquil to sit beside and listen. We truly enjoyed our stay so much more than we could have hoped for.

Nina was a great host. She replied to my questions promptly. The house was perfect for our family. We loved the hot tub, Mountain View, and the short distance to the river. The entrance into the river was very steep/muddy and tough for myself and baby to get in/out. The area was large and very private. Thank you !
