The house was more then we expected. The layout worked perfectly for our family of 4. The basement are was great for our kids to hangout while we enjoyed theain living area.

Cabin was well appointed. Beautiful views. Plenty of comfortable rooms for our stay. Did not use hot tub due to the weather. Cerebrated Thanksgiving

We loved this home! It was perfect for a girls weekend. The hostess answered any and every question before and during the stay. Would recommend and already looking to book next year!

The kitchen was one of the best we’ve stayed in. Every utensil you’ll ever need. Plenty of “matching” dishes, glassware, nice undamaged pots and pans. Upper deck was great for grilling and stargazing. Comfy bed, with nice linens and pillows. 10 out of 10. One minor thing, if your short, the microwave is a reach, and maybe add a light near grill area.

We absolutely loved this property--from the beautiful views off the back deck to the thoughtful touches in the kitchen, living areas and kids play areas, the house itself was amazing for our group of 9. The hot tub was a hit, as well as the games, toys and cozy blankets and pillows. Incredibly well-stocked kitchen, with numerous appliances and tons of storage. Beds were comfortable and there was always plenty of space to spread out. The community itself was a selling point for us--we absolutely loved the creek access and the campground, and we made sure to visit the pool, game room, playground and paddle boats.Great location overall, with the closest grocery store about 20-25 minutes away. The roads are windy and cell coverage is spotty, but we made it work with pre-planning and making sure we grabbed items coming or going from the different outings.

The view of the sunrise in the morning and in the evenings you can experience quite the starry night from the hot tub. There is plenty of seating, both inside and outside.

The cabin was wonderful & we will save it for next time for sure. The whole family enjoyed it, we really appreciated the kids toys that were available for our 2 year old daughter and niece and nephew! Plenty of games and activities to do inside when it got chilly. The kitchen was well stocked for our thanksgiving dinner needs. Thanks for having us!

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Firstly, I have been renting cabins yearly for over 15 years and I have never left a bad review yet. I know things happen and it did not ruin our time here but the stay was not the best. When we arrived at 8:30 pm and opened the door, we were hit with a dead animal smell. I immediately sent a text letting them know of the odor. No response. We looked everywhere for this dead animal ourselves. I sent a follow up text the next morning at 10:40am. They asked if they could come over to check it out, we said yes, we waiting around for hours, finally I jumped in the shower and my spouse took a nap. We received a text at 1:50pm stating they knocked for 10 mins but we did not answer and to let them know when they could come back. Maybe they did and we did not hear it but I responding within 5 mins saying they could come back that we were here waiting for them, instead of going into town. No response. I sent 5 texts with no response. The next morning after we left the cabin to come home, we got a text apologizing for them not having the ability to come back out. I cannot understand why they did not call or text while they said they were knocking. We could not use the downstairs AT ALL due to the smell and the kitchen/living was pretty bad. Luckily the smell did not make it to the upstairs bedroom and bathroom. Now, I know things happen, mice get in and die. We were not upset about that one bit. It was the lack of response and care that we spent a lot of money for this weekend to stay here and it smelled like a dead animal inside. Like gag worthy. Other than that the cabin was clean and the bed upstairs was comfortable. The hot tub was capped out on the temperature at 99 degrees which was okay during the day but not the temperature a hot tub should be when its 50 degrees outside ( normal temp is 102-103), we were cold in there which was disappointing. They never even offered some money back or anything to compensate for the dead animal smell we had to deal with all weekend.

Home was clean and exactly as stated on the listing. We used the pool, fitness room, and enjoyed time at the cabin playing games & grilling out. We would definitely come back!

My kids loved the little details, from the play camp fire in their room or the stars hidden around the cabin for them to find. My husband and I loved the room layout and of course, the hot tub was perfect with the mountain views were perfection. I’d highly recommend this cabin to any of my friends!

We loved the cabin and the location. The comm3nts online were all accurate. While it is about 20 mins from Boone, everything is easily accessible and the stay was wonderful! Great cabin. We will certainly be back!

The area is remote, but close enough to Boone that it was not inconvenient. The cabin itself was in a beautiful setting, clean, appliances all worked well, and comfortable. The personalized basket for welcome was a really nice touch. Property management was very helpful and clear with check in instructions,directions to get there, helpful tips, and suggestions on things to do. Check out was clear and simple. The resort area itself was nice with ample amenities and really nice marked trails with different levels of difficulty. The people who live there are kind, welcoming, and love being there. All in all we had a wonderful stay and will not hesitate to recommend this cabin and Moonlight Property Management again. Thank you for helping us have a great time away!
