Great peaceful and private place in the woods to hang out with family or friends.

Cabin appeared newly built and was located in a very private and quiet wooded location. It was close to plenty hiking and sightseeing in Bald Eagle State Forest and surrounding forests. A great retreat that I hope to return to!

Rustic setting, just 20 minutes from Bucknell. Great layout for a family. Kitchen was well appointed the home had a keurig as well as a full coffee pot. Nice hike up the gravel road into the woods. Very very private and peaceful. Has heat and air conditioning if needed. 3 generations all loved it.

We had a great family weekend at this cozy little cabin. The trails were a big hit with the kids. My wife woke up to a hummingbird on the front porch. A simple and perfect little cabin! Would definitely book here again.

Excelent stay!

A true five star stay. The cabin is very clean and comfy! Very clean & the location is so secluded and quiet. On the same road as Bald Eagle State forest, but also not far from town. We hiked all day and chilled by the fire place and fire pit at night. Lots of wildlife (turkeys, deer, woodpeckers, frogs) on the property, as well as lots of room to roam outside! A truly unique stay - definitely hoping to be back!!

Loved the privacy. We had all the comforts of home. Everything you read online from the host is accurate. Easy to contact host and he is so helpful and kind. We enjoyed visiting two wineries and downtown Lewisburg and Bucknell university. Each of those is 20 minutes or less from the cabin.

We absolutely love this place. They have everything you need. Beds are so comfortable. Its peaceful and quiet. I could live here forever

The host Neil is always great to work with. The washing machine and dryer did not work and Neil called us back after I let him know about it. The only other thing that was missing was the Kurig coffe machine. There was plenty of K cups but no machine. As always, it was a great time away!!!

I booked a weekend at the cabin for my wife’s birthday. We wanted seclusion, nature, rustic & land…not people. We loved it! The cabin is set back in the woods, off a trail, nestled on a clearing. The trail continues seemingly forever. Perfect for exploring, hiking, taking in nature. We loved that it backed up to endless woods giving a remote feeling. The cabin was picture perfect. Beautiful timber, quaint porch, warm, cozy, inviting. It is tiny but that’s exactly what she wanted. There are the two queen rooms on the 1st floor, a spiral staircase to a loft w/ double bunks & full bath. The main floor has a small well equipped kitchen, small living room w/ small TV, & a bathroom w/ shower. The sofa was small but comfy & perfect for our family to enjoy a movie. There is a drip coffee pot but we used the keurig for convenience. The water seemed good but out of an abundance of caution we brought water. Oven/stove worked perfectly. Microwave as well. Fridge is full size & there were ice trays. We went out & got a disposable pan for making brownies as we did not see one available. We would bring some of our preferred cleaners in the future just for the purposes of tidying up after ourselves. Paper towels, TP, linens were all present. The beds were comfy but firm. The fireplace inside was awesome & propane/gas. Grill outside was good but watch for flare ups. There’s a Walmart in driving distance & good restaurant/brewery in town. Thank you for an amazing stay!

Clean cozy cabin. Gas fireplace was great to take the chill off after some time in the snow. Added plus for us old folks the two main bedrooms on the first level.

The host was very good the amenities were great enjoyed our stay

This is my second time staying at this place, and I must say that I'm thoroughly enjoying my experience. The interior design is impressive, the view is stunning, and the cleanliness is top-notch.

Amazing property! Lots of trails for the dogs to explore and the cabin was clean and cozy! Will definitely be back!

Peaceful

The Spruce Run Hideway cabin & its property were absolutely beautiful. We had such a wonderful & relaxing stay. The host was very responsive to any and all inquiries. My pup had a blast running around outside. We will definitely be back again!

The description and pictures do not do this property justice. Property clean and nicely decorated. There is plenty of room to bring the family. The dogs really enjoyed all the space to roam. We will definitely be contacting Neil again for our next long weekend!

This is our 4th visit, 3 in the winter and 1 in the summer. Winter is our best time as we make fires in the fire pit every day (weather permitting) . We walk the trails with our two golden doodles and they sometimes have more fun than we do!! I’m an avid hunter and love to shoot guns. Great time away!!! We will be back!!

We first visited the cabin fifteen years ago. This trip was as good or better than the first. Highly recommend!

Very nice log cabin style cozy home right on hundreds of acres of forest and trails. Neil was great and even stopped on New Years Day when we had trouble getting the fireplace to work. It didn’t matter as home is warm and comfortable. Nice peaceful place to relax and catch up with family.

Lovely cabin. Perfect winter stay to celebrate holiday w family. Dog did well. Kitchen was nice, location remote. Amish country. We saw a total of 11 buggies! even though it was very cold outside, the cabin was warm. A great place to stay! Will do it again!
