Kids loved the bunks downstairs, everything we needed was in the kitchen, bathroom on every floor 👍, wish we had brought firewood for the outdoor fireplace, very quiet- in the middle of the woods on the side of a mountain, did not like the huge spiderweb across the porch I walked into first thing in the morning (spider didn’t like me either!)

The cabin is beautiful, spacious, clean, and very peaceful. Had plenty of sheets, pillows, kitchenware, and other essentials. There were towels, toilet paper, hand soap, body wash, shampoo, and conditioner in all 3 bathrooms. We loved the disc golf net, pool table, and Nintendo simulator! Hot tub is clean and works well. The location offers great views and lots of privacy. Host is thoughtful and very responsive. We spent a week here and absolutely loved it! Highly recommend!!

Appreciated the shampoo, conditioner and body wash in every bathroom, blow dryers, pump hand soap and laundry detergent, plenty of toilet paper. Clean. We didn’t use the outside fireplace but they provided smore fixins which is great. Need to bring wood. Husband was excited about the coffee since we forgot to bring any. Downstairs area was great for the kids. Beds comfortable and decent vanity spaces. Good wifi. Hot tub is really nice and conveniently located near the door. Would be nice to have extra towels to use for it. Only con is the 10 minute drive up/down the narrow, winding mountain road. Views are beautiful though.

We had a great time at the house. The beds were very comfortable. Our preteen boys loved playing the nintendo, pool, and ping pong. Based on other reviews, we brought our own ping pong paddles. There was also only one usable pool stick, which was fine. My sister tried to use the bath tub upstairs, but it caused a leak to the bedroom below. I let the owners know, so hopefully that will be taken care of soon. If you have a large party, I would recommend bringing paper plates. There were only 7 plates, so we sometimes had to eat in shifts. The dishwasher was a bit wonky, so we did hand washing as well. Also, if your group all want to sit together, just know some people will have to sit in kitchen chairs in the living areas. They had a few folding chairs which was nice as there weren't enough chairs at the table for our whole group. Also, be prepared to figure out sheets for the beds when you arrive. Most beds did not have sheets. Several sets were in the dryer. We loved walking the circle the house was on as it had great views. Downtown Marion was super cute as well. While there was some updating needed, we still enjoyed our stay. It is all what you make of it. The hosts were very kind and responsive.

House was secluded, well stocked, and met all of our expectations. Could use some new pool sticks and ping pong paddles but at the price the game room was a bonus so we were just happy to have it. Great house overall and our favorite one we have stayed at in the NC mountains (go every fall).

Our family needed to travel to NC to see our great-grandmother who is in failing health. The property provided a nice place to stay all together. The drive up the mountain was LONG but it was a very nice property and a nice mini vacation for us while we were visiting.
