Spacious Private Retreat with Great Views of Page Valley & Blue Ridge Mountains

The place is amazing. We had a great time. Very private and relaxing. A great place to get away from life for awhile. Close to Cooters restaurant. That place is amazing as well. Will definitely be back to both places.

We had a great stay!! Everything was perfect!

Even better than pictured -- a tranquil, beautiful setting for all of us to unplug! We fished, hot-tubbed, walked, and grilled for two heavenly days. A short but truly memorable vacation!

The hot tub was the icing on the cake for this property! It had a perfect mix of seclusion and proximity to Wal Mart and the grocery store! The pond was amazing and it was stocked with some nice size trout. The surrounding property and the views were incredible and ideal for watching sunrises and sunsets. The wildlife were the best neighbors (turkey and deer!). Driving THROUGH the cow field was an unusual but fun surprise! The cabin was immaculate, perfect size for our family of three plus a dog. Only comment would be to add gates on the porch to keep animals or out . Highly recommend and we will be returning in the future!!

We absolutely enjoyed our stay here! The view was breathtaking and the cabin had everything we needed to feel at home. The description is very on point. Great cabin for a couple or a small family looking for a vacation. The degree of seclusion and privacy this cabin offers is rare on these platforms. The hot tub is a nice bonus. I would highly recommend this place.

Every time my wife and I decide to take sanity break from the world, this is the place we come to.It isn’t any one thing that makes a stay here truly perfect, but the sum of everything we enjoy about this type of escape. The epic view of the valley from the cabin’s wrap-around deck is the star of the show, but the cabin’s remoteness and and 2 mile long exclusive access road up the mountain to get there gives us the serenity and peace of mind to truly enjoy it.If you need a break from the world, this is the place for you. We will keep coming back as long as we are able.

The cabin was secluded yet close to town. The driveway is not steep (and I’m terrified of heights). We saw hawks and a bald eagle - it was simply serene. Everything we needed was furnished, bed was comfortable and it was a heavenly stay.

Great experience, it has beautiful views. The cabin is beautiful and clean. Also I loved that it is pet friendly. The only thing that is missing is that there is no WiFi but that could be a good thing because you can disconnect from the world. I would stay again

Best host . Very attentive and makes sure you are satisfied. This is the 9th time we have stayed here and it's still the best. We just love everything about our stay.

This was our fourth trip to the cabin! As always, we had a fabulous time! We were a little bummed out. It was dry season and we could not use the fire pit, but we completely understand and we love our forest! We will be back very soon for another great adventure!

This is everything you could want for a mountain vacation, secluded enough to let life slow down, but yet close enough to Civilization that you can get what u need in 15 20 mins absolutely love it here and will def come again in the future

This is our fourth visit to Berner's Mountain Lodge! It never ceases to amaze us -- the views from the deck and cabin are just beautiful. The cabin is always clean and welcoming. The property surrounding the cabin is well-maintained and pretty! We love to walk the driveway with our chihuahuas and love to fish in the pond. The entire Luray area is spectacular all year long! This is our favorite place in Luray, VA!!!

My 5th year at BML and it’s always an amazing stay. The Asian ladybugs took over this year! Lol, but we enjoyed the view, hot tub and local breweries and live music!

We love the house,the view, the privacy! We feel so relaxed and comfortable while there !We make it our tradition to stay there every year, especially in the Fall. The host are great people! Thanks for such a great getaway !

We had a wonderful time at the cabin. Everything was clean, and having a kitchen fully stocked with utensils and pans was very convenient. It was an easy drive to the national park but still very private and peaceful. Stargazing while in the hot tub and having a bonfire were highlights of our stay. We will definitely be staying here again.

Spectacular view, privacy and quiet

We loved this little jem of a cabin. Felt like home away from home. Super cozy, great short vacation to relax in the hot tub and cook hot dogs over the fire for dinner with the kids. Close to town but yet far enough off the road to be completely private. We enjoyed being able to hike at the national park and relax at the cabin in the evenings. We will definitely be back!

Arrived after long day on the road and felt like home when we walked in. Without exception it was everything they said it was. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The owners were very attentive and responsive but not intrusive.

We discovered this cabin about 20 years ago. Really enjoy the solitude and the views. The cabin and the hot tub are always clean. Owners are very responsive if you need to get in touch.

Everything was wonderful. I found the cabin to be clean, welcoming, and just what I expected. The star gazing was unexpectedly good. The wrap-around porch was notably clean as well, which was an impressive feat considering it's outside in the country where dirt, leaves, and bugs abound! Yet it was so clean! In short, it was perfect!

We were so impressed with this property, it truly is secluded but close to everything you need. And the views never get old, they are stunning.The hot tub was perfect after hiking. The house was spotless. We do a lot of hiking trips and this is our favorite cabin to date!! Our dogs loved it as much as we did. It is a perfect piece of heaven.

My husband and I spent a week at the lodge with our two dogs. The place was immaculately clean and well furnished. We were pleasantly surprised how well stocked the kitchen was, (cake, cupcake, sheet pans) and even an air fryer. It was comical to see 5’2 me, take a running leap to get into the tall bed every night The hot tub was clean and always a perfect temperature. Paul even came by once to check on the chemical balance to ensure it was clean and healthy. There are no words to describe the quiet and magnificent views. We spent hours on the deck, relaxing, and watching the hummingbirds. We had a quick encounter with a wild turkey one day that was a fun surprise and always slowed down when the cattle were near the road to get a good luck. It was nice to have more than enough towels and cleaning supplies available if we needed them. The night nights in every room were helpful for comforting our dogs in the new space. The property is exactly as advertised and more, we definitely look forward to renting again.

Enjoyable as always

Loved the atmosphere here it’s so quiet and peaceful. Definitely a getaway our kids will never forget. Our youngest caught a huge catfish as her first catch ever at only four years old. She is on cloud nine. Can’t wait to visit this place again.

The area is beautiful and the property is peaceful. Great location to Shanendoah National Park. The house is nice and the beds were comfortable. It’s about 1 1/2 miles from main road which gave us great privacy. We enjoyed our stay and the pup loved the outside area. Great communication from owner.

We loved how private the cabin was—there wasn’t anyone nearby, which made it feel extra relaxing. Even though it’s pet-friendly, the place was clean. The host was very kind, and we had a great week here. Highly recommend!

Great place to stay to relax and unwind from the hustle and bustle of life! It’s just you and the wilderness at burner lodge, with the perfect Mountain View of course! Any questions I had, Paul was very quick to respond. The pond is stocked with a variety of fish and was my sons favorite part of the stay!

Everyone loved it. There was the pond for those who fish. Plenty of woods to explore for those that like walking and hiking. The hot tub great for relaxing. And the view from the deck was amazing. Then if you want to cook out its great. There's a pavilion with picnic table, chairs and grills under it also has a fire pit. They thought of everything. We'll definitely rent again.

This was our 2nd time here and we love it! We enjoy getting in the hot tub.We went fishing. Make sure to have bug spray when fishing because of the gnats. We watched fireworks from the cabin. The owners are very nice.

Family stay with adult daughters and new dog. Place was perfect. Clean, comfortable and well appointed. We cooked in most nights and watched the stars and sun come up. Great location near the park and caverns. Plenty of seating for relaxing and dining. Private and peaceful and perfect. Will go again for sure.

Hidden gem. Stocked trout/bass pond. Remote and yet close to everything. The pictures online don't do this place justice. Everything you need is there. I bring my pans with me now when we rwnt anywhere because kitchens are rarwly

We love this property and have stayed here several times. It sits by itself about halfway up a mountain (the driveway is a mile and a half long) so there are no neighbors and it is extremely quiet, just you and nature - which we love! Panoramic view of the valley below and the stars are beautiful on clear nights. No internet is great for disconnecting, although there is cell service.

We had such a lovely time. Everything was more scenic and beautiful than pictures can capture. We loved the hot tub, the grilling area and the pond so much! (there's a bunch of fish in the pond). We can't wait to come back.

a great location, we stayed put & relaxed

Burner’s Lodge was everything I had hoped for. Quiet, peaceful, beautiful view of the valley and mountains, with all the comforts of home…and then some. We loved being greeted by the cows, visiting Luray and the caverns and of course skyline drive and Shenandoah National Park. Perfect location and getaway from the hustle and bustle.

Exactly what we were looking for in a mountain cabin getaway. No other cabins nearby, not alot of touristy stuff close by. Just an awesome cabin way up the mountain with it's own pond. No wifi, so was able to disconnect for a bit and try to relax. Went for walks, went fishing, went exploring and hung out and did absolutely nothing for a little bit too!

Enjoyed every moment of our stay on this beautiful property. The view from the cabin was stunning and its easy access to Luray made it easy to explore the area.

We had a great time at Burners Lodge! Be aware that the drive up the gravel driveway is very long, we almost turned around, thinking we were in the wrong place. But once we got up to the cabin it was great! The views were amazing. It was great to jump into the hot tub after hiking along Skyline drive. We were super close to the Dukes of Hazzard museum which was fun! We also tried several great restaurants such as Chop House for steaks and seafood and Il Vesuvio for pizza and pasta. Flotsies had great ice cream treats. This location was close to everything and it was very easy to get to the Thornton Gap entrance to Skyline Drive.Drive

This property was amazing and I will be back. House was beautiful. Property was private. Hot tub was relaxing. Caught and released some trout. Everything you will need is there. Do yourself a favor and book!

This was our second stay as it quickly became our all time favorite property during our first visit. The hot tub was perfect. We hiked around the old trails through the woods with our dogs. We were all in heaven during our two night stay. I can't recommend this place highly enough. We can't wait to return.

Ever want to feel like you and your partner are the only two people in the world? That’s what we wanted and succeeded in experiencing at Burner’s Lodge. No wifi needed, and turn your phones off to tap into the peace and solitude. It was amazing how it hasn’t changed at all since our original stay 7 years ago. The property and views are beautiful as always. The owner was able to accommodate to a request, which made the stay all the more special. We hope it doesn’t take us 7 years again to make it back there, but even if it does, I’m sure that Burner’s will still have the feel of being in the same place and time.

This is our family’s second time, and we still can’t wait to go back. This cabin has the perfect location and a wonderful property manager. Start to finish, we could not ask for more.

The view, the cabin, and being secluded in the woods is an amazing way to unplug from the world. I was more than satisfied with this Cabin the pictures don't do it justice. It is truly breathtaking. Host were awesome and kept the line of communication open. They even let me know that I would need four-wheel-drive if it snowed and then followed up with me the next day to tell me that they thought I could get through.

We had an incredible experience on our weekend getaway! Beautiful views, very clean home, and owners were reachable when we had a question. We will definitely be booking again in the near future!

Beautiful snowy stay

Our 10th stay at this property and was perfect as always. We look forward to this trip each year, the view is extraordinary, the house is just as described, and the hosts are wonderful.

Our overall stay was magical. We arrived later than expected, due to a series of unfortunate events, I had trouble with finding location but managed to find it after 1 hour of trying all roads, even had a sherriff help. Once we arrived and got settled in the kids were down at 2am, my husband and I enjoyed the balcony view near the night sky. We saw a total of 3 shoot stars. The next few days we saw amazing views of the valley, valley storm clouds form and with lighting, snow flurries and crazy windy nights in the hot tub. We enjoyed the peace and the hot tub, once the kids were settled. Our infant enjoyed the ceiling fans and the kids loved the veiws and decorations. The place was super clean , neat and homey with a Christmas tree. This was the first family trip ever and with our dog who is 13 years old. He was smiling the whole time. We plan to return again. Only recommendation is check the blow dryers one sounded bad and the other sounded like it could last a little longer. We enjoyed the hot showers and amenities. Adults loved the no wifi and the kids had to find enjoyment outside in Nature. Thank you! This is a place we will remember and already talking about coming again!

What a great place to relax with family! The views were spectacular. We really enjoyed just sitting out on the front deck and in the hot tub. It’s close to Luray Caverns and Cooter’s. Place was clean and comfortable. Would definitely recommend to others. Loved it!

We loved the house on the hill! What a beautiful place and so peaceful. We enjoyed the fall colors and break from hectic pace. Awesome Shenandoah getaway. We will be back!

This was our second stay at Burners Mountain Lodge, once again we had perfect weather to enjoy the outdoors during the day as well as the fire pit and hot tub in the evening. The home is cozy and well appointed and the views (especially sunrise) are spectacular.

Arrived a little early and met owner. Very nice gentleman who told us to come on in. House was spotless and just perfect but the view from the front deck was what made it unforgettable. Even saw a bear from the deck one night. The hot tub was an added plus. Wish we could have stayed longer it was so peaceful and quiet.

Wonderful experience at this cabin and surrounding area for my 30th birthday. Very clean and cozy mountain getaway that offered nice amenities, including hot tub and grilling pavilion. Gorgeous views from large wraparound deck. Can’t wait to visit again!

Beautiful and everything was great

The location was perfect for us. We were on a girls’ getaway. It was quiet, secluded and the views were beautiful. The cabin was spacious and comfortable. We enjoyed our stay very much.

We had a wonderful stay. The house was spotless when we arrived and had everything we needed. The beds were very comfortable. The views from the deck and hot tub were incredible and we felt so far from it all while also only being a short drive into Luray. We even saw some wild turkeys run through. Can’t wait to go back!

Ever since I moved to MD back in 2009 I have wanted to rent a cabin in the mountain far far away from rest of the world. This place is simply amazing and a must visit for everyone who wants to get away from the craziness of every day life in the city. The cabin is in great shape, and the location is out of this world. place was clean and all instructions were crisp and clear. This place does not have WiFi and i think its a blessing really. Paul & Katie are gracious hosts. Book this place without thinking twice.

Things could not have been better for time away from city life.

This was the third time my husband and I, long with our small dogs, have stayed in this beautiful mountain cabin. We love staying at Berner's Mountain Lodge! It's a nice area in Luray, VA, with lots to do nearby. The cabin is always nice and the area surrounding it is well maintained. It's a joy to go there and kick back on the deck, enjoy the peaceful area and view the lovely mountains!

Very nice property and very accommodating. Quick drive to luray with plenty to do in the area. Definitely want to plan another trip back to the cabin. Cell phones had great reception up on the mountain.

I stayed with my husband and kids and we loved this property and the fact that it was so secluded but also close enough to things to do and stores. In the past we stayed at places that appeared secluded but were a line up of home/rental property’s with not much privacy. We loved it here and can’t wait to come back.

Everything was excellent and we are planning our next trip to the lodge.

This is our 3rd time staying at Burner’s Mountain Lodge and each time, we say that there is no way that it can be topped. Each time, we are wrong. The absolute seclusion and tranquility is exactly what we need to unwind with our family and the dogs. Katie and Paul have made sure that you have everything you need. If you are hesitant about renting this piece of heaven, that’s great! It leaves more availability for us!!!
