Great location. Plenty of room for everyone.
The kitchen had everything we needed for our meal prep.
Great place to stay for our gathering. Easy walk to downtown McCall, plenty of room, outfitted well for dining in, and good neighborhood location. We would definitely stay again.
Very comfortable to hang out and relax. Easy walk into town. Absolute best at this price point
Great, clean property. Easy communication with management.
Not very clean. Pine needles all over front room and steps. Assuming from Christmas tree. The property was clearly not vacuumed. A lot of mold growing in upstairs bathroom on ceiling. Mattress pad had blood stains on it. Nice property, kitchen well stocked, great location. Due to lack of cleanliness, we would not stay there again.
Nicely appointed cabin that is located in town . Lots of beds and seating . Very warm and comfortable.
Great location. Easy access and able to park our big snowmobile trailer and 2 cars. One car in garage, one in driveway, then still room for pickup. Big cabin, 3 floors. Plenty of room for whole family. Good heat with 2 gas fireplaces. A little outdated, but very clean and comfortable rooms. We would definitely stay at Stedman cabin again, winter or summer.
It’s a good size, and has lots of beds to choose from. The upstairs queen is particularly comfortable with a firm mattress. The place has a nice, kind of old-school charm. Kitchen is well-stocked with plates and cooking tools, placemats, etc, but could use some tea, so we left some. Cons, the garbage disposal didn’t work, and the TV worked one night, and not the next. Remote batteries were likely a factor. It’d be nice if there were batteries for that on hand. The basement could really use some wall hangings and decor to give a warmer, and less “creepy basement” feeling. As many have said, the outside trash can was very full. And when it doesn’t get closed properly, animals get into it… there was a fair amount of trash strewn about the driveway when we arrived. It was moderately clean, as would be expected of a more ‘rustic’ sort of place. It takes a while to heat up but once it does, it’s very warm! If you sleep upstairs, assume things will get hot and open a window (we stayed in winter and it was in the teens at night).
We so enjoyed this cabin for our girls weekend. It was well stocked and offered all the things that we needed. We would definitely use this home again if we were in the McCall area.
We really enjoyed our stay. We were in McCall for a family reunion and this house was an excellent choice. There is lots of room to spread out and find your own space to enjoy. The scenery was awesome, especially the deer who visited us several times. Even saw a nice three point buck. The house was clean and the kitchen was extremely well stocked with most everything you will need in the way of cooking and dishes. There was also a good supply of most used ingredients for cooking. We really enjoyed our stay. The only thing that was different from the description was the walking time to the lake. It is a good 20 minute walk to downtown (unless there was a shortcut we didn't know about). It was a beautiful walk though and I would highly recommend it. Would definitely recommend this house.
House was ok, no way to cool it off. 3 weak fans in the house. Group of 7 booked for 3 nights and no to besides what’s in the roller.
Plenty of room, centrally located to downtown McCall. My wife and I sat on the balcony every morning drinking coffee and watching the deer graze.
The place was not clean at all. Sheets not clean, mold, hair, you name it. Even after they sent out another crew to clean still not clean. Very old school cabin but again the big problem is cleanliness. Not very nice. No A/C which is a problem if you want to stay there in July and August. Customer service was basically tough luck no one has ever complained and told us they were generous in with waiving the cleaning fee. I would not recommend booking this place. Not clean and need some serious work if you want enjoy a stay in McCall. Definitely not worth the money we paid so renter beware.
The house had space for everyone to be together and more importantly, space for people to be alone. Easy walk to Main Street in beautiful McCall. The Cabin had everything one could ask for. We gathered from east and west and left with only good memories. This was a hit with the extended family.
