Spacious Hocking Hills Lodge/Cabin

Will definitely come back! One of my favorite priorities I’ve stayed at. So beautiful especially watching the sunset or sunrise!

Place very spacious and well taken care of.

Very spacious, clean, and comfortable place to stay. Everything was very well organized and labeled, and the hosts were very gracious. They supplied many extras to keep everything comfortable! And we loved being able to head out for a hike and then return to a hot tub and grilled meal. Seems like a great place for small groups or big families!

As soon as we entered the property, our ladies were in awe. The living room was so spacious and welcoming. The drawers and cabinets were all labeled and things were easy to find. We had plenty of space to relax together or mingle in separate spaces if needed. The property was exactly what we needed and all the ladies are in favor of booking here for next year!!

We had a great time staying here. Very clean, owners communication was great. We had no issues other than some power blips, but the generator kicked on immediately and we were good to go.

Another fabulous stay at this beautiful cabin for our family Christmas! Had about 4 inches of snow but the driveway was plowed and no issues getting out. This was out 9th year here and we will keep coming back!!

We had a wonderful stay at this property. The home was extremely clean, well-appointed, and exactly as advertised. The kitchen had everything we needed, the beds were comfortable, and the overall space was perfect for relaxing. Communication with the owner was prompt and very helpful. The neighborhood was quiet and felt safe, making it easy to unwind. We would absolutely return and highly recommend this home to future guests.

Loves this location. Easily one of the cleanest and well put together houses we've stayed at. Things actually worked. Actually had utensils and tools needed for cooking. The only issue we had was resolved within a few hours l, and that's with the owners being out of the country. I wouldn't hesitate to stay here again!!

Our fifth time staying here and our sixth is already booked for 2026! Terrific home for bigger families including young children. Hard to beat the location if your hitting any of the trails, and the house is very well kept. Hosts are gracious and attentive. Can't recommend enough. Looking forward to our next stay!

The cabin was comfortable, we played games, had a campfire with smores of course, and a short drive to hiking. Nice home,good location. All 14 of us enjoyed the weekend, kitchen was equipped, plenty games, and quiet time if you wanted it.

Hosts are wonderful and very available and willing to help with needs. The house is very well appointed for a large group lots of dishes, pots & pans and big eating area. Play structure nice for kids. Would definitely like to stay again.

We had multiple families with all ages for kids. Everyone had fun and stayed busy. There was enough beds and space for everyone to have their own.

Wonderful house! Clean, decorated beautifully and very well kept up. Everything we needed for our family weekend!

Spacious! 7 bedrooms and 4 bathrooms, plenty of seating inside and out. Many activities such as fire pit, playground, hot tub, awesome game room, plenty of grass for games and plenty of parking. Nice location and felt very safe. Within 20 minutes of most attractions and restaurants.

The rooms were perfect for a large group of us coming together for a family reunion. We used the fire pit for s’mores. The kitchen had everything we needed for multiple meals. We had a few small issues but our host was quick to respond to issues. The hot tub was nice in the evenings. The potable and ping pong tables got lots of use as well! It was a very good place to stay!

Clean, spacious, comfortable for our group. Enjoyed hot tub and pool table and ping pong. Play space at the house rain or shine (and we had both!) and it was a comfortable place to return to after visiting caves and waterfalls and other local spots. Our last night we had first lightening bug sightings of the season while building fire in fire pit.

This was a very nice property with an excellent location!

Celebrated retirement and birthdays with kids and grandkids. Did some hiking in Hocking Hills and lots of family time.

Our family spent the weekend and we were so pleased with our stay. The house is perfect for a larger group, well equipped, comfy beds, activities for the kids and grandkids, nice yard area and no complaints! Will definitely be back again!

We loved this place, so neat and organized. We had an issue with the hot tub and couldn't use it, disappointed family. We had an issue with cracked ping pong balls and new ones were delivered, so we were grateful.

Booked this cabin for a reunion with some friends. Facility was excellent; well maintained, organized and spacious. Great location and hosts were incredible - we will definitely be back! :)

I gift this trip to children as a family weekend for Christmas. We love this house . It is clean and big enough even if my grandchildren want to bring friends. The owners are very nice and helpful . We have had no problems and no disappointments. Our 2nd year and hope to return

Amazing house, so many rooms, hide and seek for the kids, hang out in the dining room or living room for the adults. Small playground for the kids outside. Amazing basement!! Hosts were very nice and responded timely. We would definitely stay here again.

This was our third year staying at this house and we had a great time watching the snow come down on a cold weekend. Great time with friends and no issues with the house or amenities provided.

This property is great!! Owners are very responsive! They have everything you need right here. The rooms are spacious and the beds are very nice. Loads to do in the basement. Not hard to get to at all. They even let us check out late since we wanted to stay together and watch the game! I would for sure stay here again! Thank you so much for sharing your home with us.

We celebrated 35th & 40th anniversaries with 3 generations! It was the perfect space (both roomy & cozy!) for play & conversations & crafts & good eats! Hiked a little at Hocking Hills, ate smores, played a lot of pool & ping pong & just caught up with each other. The house checked off every box for kitchen needs, comfort needs & rec needs for all ages!

House was fully stocked with everything we needed. It was very clean and well maintained. It had everything we needed for a wonderful weekend with our family.

This is our third time staying on the poroerty and it remains our favorite one in the area. Hosts are lovely and the property is always in terrific shape. Great for groups and families. Location is tough to beat. Some appliance issues this time, but hosts were very apologetic and it is the first time we've ever had any issues. Already booked our fourth stay for next year!

Seven friends and I celebrated a milestone birthday in October. We stayed at this spacious property and enjoyed our stay immensely. Starting with the bedrooms, the beds were all very comfortable with nice linens. The living room couch was large enough for all of us to relax and recoup after hiking. Having 4 bathrooms was a huge plus with 8 women together. The kitchen was well stocked with nice cooking equipment. Two refrigerators helped us organize our long weekend of food and beverages. The property was quiet and just beautiful, we saw stars and comets and enjoyed the hot tub and fire pit. Location was 5 stars, close drive to all of the amazing hiking trails. We were able to get up and out early beating the crowds since we were so close to the more popular destinations. The hosts were very responsive. I'm hoping to be able to come back to this property with my family in the near future.

What a lovely time we had at the Karshner Place! It was adult and kid friendly and we felt at home! There is alot of space and easy care! The owners are lovely to work with. We couldn't be more thankful and would definitely stay here again!

Our ladies Bible study has stayed her two years in a row and truly enjoy it. Great location, clean, well equipped and this year was the addition of a Blackstone! We used it both Friday night for dinner and Saturday morning for bacon & hashbrowns! It was awesome. We had 11 ladies this year and the living room easily accommodates us for our studies. The dining area has both bar/island seating and 2-8' tables that easily sat 10. With all of us coffee consumers, having a 2 burner Bunn is perfect. Due to the high temps we chose not to use the hot tub and with the dry weather, there was a 'no burn' in the county so we were unable to use the fire pit area (huge bummer!) Owners are quick to respond, if needed. Would recommend for study groups, multi-family get aways.

The house is clean, well supplied with all your needs. Owner was quick to respond to a couple questions i had. Already booked this house for next years trip.

We love staying at Karshner Place! It is large enough to spread out, while still feeling cozy. They supply EVERYTHING you could need for your stay. Bring your food and firewood, and get ready for a great time.

We had a wonderful time for our cousin's reunion. Some of us hiked, others relaxed, played pool and ping pong, and hit the hot tub up. Thanks for all of the great amenities.

Absolutely awesome. Lots of room for our group of 18 and plenty of things for everyone to do. Definitely will rent again when we are in the area. Property managers were awesome and very helpful and quick to response to any questions we had

Our small group had a wonderful weekend at the Karshner Place! The hosts were great at answering our questions ahead of time and were very attentive to details. The lodge was clean and was as described. The kids loved having the pool table and ping pong table in the basement, and the hot tub was a bonus. It was great to have the extra fridge in the basement, and having the extra countertop in the kitchen was super helpful. It was also a great idea to have the kitchen tables separate to create more room for our larger group- and having the extra chairs available as needed was appreciated. Everything seemed well thought out!

Overall, very nice property, great location, but had some late night drive-bys from stramgers that would stop on the road and then look at the house. Kind of spooky

This was a Christmas gathering for our family. We had 10 people in our group and enjoyed being together in this home to play games, share meals and reconnect with each other. The hot tub was enjoyed by all! The home was fully equipped for cooking in or out and even had booster seats for the 2 year old toddlers. We had to contact the hosts a few times during our stay and Phil was quick to respond and help with solutions. This home was perfect for our group and the hosts were great to work with. We enjoyed the Muddy Boots petting farm zip lining and a nearby playground. 5 star recommendation. Thank you so much!

The owners were very responsive and excellent communicators. The property is beautiful and close to where we wanted to hike. A note to those with more than 6 couples: There were 17 of us, ages 20 to 80, with most of us in our late 50s. 6 of us were couples and the remaining were singles. Since there are only 6 bedrooms, our single friend or family members did not have a private space. The loft areas are ok, but, as you would expect, they are open to noise and light from the first floor. I have no complaints; just guests may want to take this into consideration.
