Clean, communication was very good.

Cabin cozy especially with fireplace in chilly weather. Very pet friendly. Location perfect - isolated yet not far from a few stores as needed. Love that the property backed to open forest.

This cabin has everything you could possibly need and is very cozy and comfortable. It s super special as it backs up to the forest area where we saw wild horses every day of our stay!! Highly recommended

Got a wonderful stay the cabin was excellent wonderful back porch and front porch. We saw tons of wild horses and a pronghorn antelope just off the back porch.

Always a pleasant relaxing stay at this cabin. Marc and Eve are very quick to respond. The back covered patio is one of pur favorite spots. Also the walking in the area is beautiful.

This is the fourth time we have rented this house. I have friends in the area so it’s a great location with great views.

Overall very nice and highly recommend. Just a large amount of dog hair. We just vacuumed a couple times.

This will be our second time staying at Willie’s Retreat. All I can say is what amazing cabin with huge covered deck to view the forest with wild horses, elk and deer. Mark and Eve thought of everything when they decided to share their beautiful cabin with others. The master bedroom mattress is comfortable with nice master bathroom. The other two bedrooms are just as nice and comfortable. The kitchen and huge living room space is relaxing and inviting. We played games, listened to music, watched movies, watched the wildlife and cooked lots of meals on the outdoor grill. We only left two times to enjoy a breakfast at The Nears Cafe in Heber and a drive to Showlow for early dinner. The kitchen is well stalked with spices and oils. Their kitchen was great for preparing breakfast and dinner. The tap water in Overgaurd is great so skip your plastic water bottles with all the microplastics and enjoy refreshing water that tastes like our R/O system at home. The back yard is fenced so or dogs loved getting out of the heat down here in Apache Junction. One more important detail is the absolute quietness that is around you. You can hear the birds and insects. This community is amazing. Star gazing is amazing here as well. We definitely will request further stays with them in the future.

We had a great trip to this cabin! Everything was very clean and the decor was cute. Nice, quiet neighborhood. We enjoyed seeing the wild horses. Overall great stay!

My parents are moving to Az from Colorado and this spot was perfect for us to stay while looking at houses in the area. The cabin was perfect and our hosts were very welcoming and wonderful! Would highly recommend.

We'd definitely stay here again if we head back to the Heber area. The property was clean and had a nice layout. We brought a 17-month old (very mobile) toddler, and it worked out really well. There was even a few toys and some kids books for him to play with.

We were so comfortable and the house exceeded our expectations in every way. I was great tobe able to walk out the back yard onto the national forest and we saw the wild horses several times. We highly recommend this rental!

This is a fantastic property! What really makes it special is that the property backs up to open land where you can see wild horses. We saw them all three days during our stay. Bison Ranch is an adorable neighborhood. The Wild Women Saloon at Bison Ranch has great pizza and a fun atmosphere. We are so glad we stayed here and will probably stay again in the future.

I have a lot of friends in the Heber Overgaard area so this house is a perfect location. This is the second time that I have stayed here and I would reserve again!

Very clean and comfortable. Backs up to forest land we saw wild horses every evening and morning of our stay. The cabin is beautiful.

Beautiful cabin and surroundings! So peaceful sitting on the deck watching the horses room by. Perfect amenities for us and for the pups. They loved the yard and walking trails.

We love this property, if I could give 10 stars I would. The location is excellent and the communication with the owner is excellent. Hope to go back net year.

The atmosphere and cabin were great, very relaxing! AND the fact that the guest bath shower head was handheld, was worth a high rating alone!

My sisters and I enjoyed a few days of relaxing in this wonderful cabin (with all the amenities) that backed up to a beautiful national forest where we sat out on the back porch every morning, drinking our coffee and watching the wild horses come and go! We were in Overgaard visiting family/friends and wished we could have taken more advantage of the cabin peacefulness. We enjoyed near by restaurants and everyone we met was so friendly! The owners were quick to respond to any of our inquiries. We would definitely stay there again!
