Spacious cabin on beautiful Caribou Lake

We have been traveling to Lutsen for 20 years and this is the best place we have ever stayed. It was perfect! Everything we needed for cooking, cleaning, and relaxing was provided. We used the boats and caught and cooked walleye each day. It was a slice of heaven and we can’t wait to return. We had 8 in our group from 3 generations, ages 17-81, and everyone was happy!

Beautiful house in a beautiful location! The bay the house sits on was absolutely beautiful with its backdrop of fall colors. Highly recommend the white cliff trail across from the boat landing. It’s steep, but well worth the climb—you can see for miles.

Nice cabin with plenty of space.

A comfy and cozy “up north” experience on a peaceful lake. Enjoyed water activities including fishing off the dock and using kayaks and canoes. Included all the amenities we needed. Would stay again if vacationing in the area.

Our family enjoyed staying at this roomy, very functional cabin. Kitchen was well stocked; we appreciated the grill. Beds were very comfortable. We could've used a bit more lighting in the main living area and a router extender in the main bedroom so we could be on conference calls at the same time; we were all working remotely off and on. The North Shore is stunning!

Loved that it was family friendly and safe for our toddler to be able to roam the living space. Kitchen was well stocked for cooking. Beds were comfy with plenty of pillows and blankets. Was great! We used the kayaks a lot! Store was close by. Close to a lot of things to do.

Our entire group was excited about our stay. The cabin is great, the lake was awesome! Had everything we were looking for after a long day on the bike (Lutsen 99er). Would recommend to others and stay here again!

Great property on a clean lake. Multiple seating areas outside. The kids loved playing in the lake and we all enjoyed some kayaking. Great location from Grand Marais and all the main hiking spots. Highly recommend!

Visiting for the 2nd time, this home did not disappoint. It is a beautiful house on a beautiful lake, and it will remain an annual trip for my son, nephew, and brothers.

You might consider a strip of spots or a floor lamp over by the fireplace as the kids like using the table for crafts & games, but it is hard to see.

The property was exactly as described and enjoyed it very much!

We really enjoyed the cabin and especially the puzzles. The deck makes for an incredible spot to see the Milky Way and northern lights in all their splendor.

This property was just amazing. The house is beautiful and the location gorgeous. The rustic nature was so relaxing. It has everything you need to make MN lake memories. Highly recommended.

The layout, up north decorating, comfy bed, fire ring, and use of kayaks combined to made our time at the cabin feel like home. The lake view from the dock is beautiful. The location is convenient to explore surrounding state parks and Grand Marais. I highly recommend it!

Our extended family had a great stay at the cabin, the second time we've done this. Two thumbs up.

For the past 3 years, I have taken my young adult son and nephew fishing in Minnesota. Each and every year, the cabin and lake selected got better with no disrespect to each earlier cabin owner. This year was the absolute best. Beginning with Theresa and her beautiful cabin that the pictures do not give it justice. Breathtaking, spacious, and quiet. The fishing was insane. There was not a single day we didn’t catch fish. I believe we found our annual fishing destination for good. Theresa was prompt with her replies through the entire process.

Second time we stayed here. The location is ideal for access to excellent hiking trails. We had a rain day this year but all the games, movie dvds in the cabin as well as sometime in Grand Marais shopping easily made up for the rain. The layout gives our two families their own space. We absolutely love having a fire down by the lake watching the sunset.
