Southern Comfort Cabin- 8 Guests, 3 BR, 2.5 BA, Hot Tub, WiFi- Hocking Hills

It was a little out-of-the-way, but very private

The owner was very responsive when we had questions. The cabin was in great shape with good amenities to help keep people entertained at night. The hot tub was phenomenal. The trails on the property were kept neat. The cabin is in a serene area. I definitely would stay here again.

Nice and secluded. Great for the whole family. Hot tub was a great place to relax after a long day of hiking. Really enjoyed being near several Hocking Hills trails. Plenty of room for us. The porch swing and rocking chairs on the front porch were relaxing. Definitely recommending

This place was even better than the pictures. I wish we got to stay longer than one night because it wasn’t long enough to enjoy it all.

We loved this place for my sisters bachelorette! Wonderful communication from host, beautiful property and tons of space. We absolutely loved the hot tub and making a fire. Beds were so comfy! The only issue we ran into was trouble finding a confirmation email but this host resolved this quickly. The only other issue was one shower looked like it hadn’t been wiped out but I’m sure this would be resolved for future stays.

We enjoyed our stay at this private cabin, beautiful setting with a walking path and nature pond on the property. Hot tub was nice to relax in after hiking the trails.

The cabin was wonderful!!! It was clean and so well stocked!! When we cooked meals, we had everything we needed!! Plenty of towels and ANYTHING we may have needed was there!!! Thank you for sharing your beautiful home with me and my family!! We cannot wait to return!

This is a lovely cabin, set back off the road and on a beautiful piece of property. Our family of 7 had a great Spring Break here. The kitchen was well stocked with everything I needed to cook for the week. The hot tub was a major hit! Great for relaxing tired muscles after hiking around the area. The trails around the property are short, but nice. The cabin was also nice and clean. We did have a slight issue with the furnace, but the host was able to get it resolved quickly.Overall we are very happy and would like to stay here again!

The only complaint would be the shower.

The cabin was cozy and everything was as expected if not better.

Great place

The cabin had plenty of room for our family - 2 grandparents, 2 parents, 2 kids. We loved the hot tub and the little walking trail. The proximity to Hocking Hills State Park was great!

Charming, cozy cabin! We had a lovely experience. Perfect, secluded area with a nice walking trail. We enjoyed the fireplace inside as it was a chilly weekend.

We had a great time again at Southern Comfort. The house is in a great location close to Old Man’s Cave and lots of trails for buggy riding. The house is always so clean and has everything you need. Communication with the host was fast and easy. We will definitely be back!

Very private. Little things could be improved but overall was really nice. Need end tables/coffee table, there is nowhere to set a drink. Bedrooms need storage. Grills need replaced

Extremely private cabin. Was very clean and layout was great! Will come baxk in the Spring hopefully after snow melts so there is water in the Hocking Hills State Park.

Great place

The location was fantastic and peaceful beyond expectation. The cabin was spotless inside and out, though the ceiling fans could use a bit of maintenance. The trails behind the cabin were short, but easy and fun for a quick evening walk. Would book here again without hesitation .

The cabin was clean when we walked in. It’s in a great location. But there are some issues inside the cabin with a handyman could probably fix in a day or two. Some of the Spicket have hot water on the right instead of the left which should be addressed the master bedroom shower door doesn’t work right. The picnic table outside don’t even sit on it or you’ll hurt yourself. It needs replaced. Also, the pool table downstairs there was only one Q stick no chalk and it looks like someone painted something on top of it with overspray the light above the pool table has a burnout socket, which I took a picture of that. Over by the air handler or furnace, the floor head, moldy, looking water coming out of the bottom of it. In the electric service coming in panel opened it up. It should have a plug in one of the breakers if a child was to stick his fingers in there, it would kill them. Overall, the basement was a mess. and I forgot to mention the Teflon pot I wouldn’t let my dog eat out of it. And you could use some wine classes too thanks, Robert.

Great cabin set back in the woods. Everything was very clean.

As we were only there for 2 nights we did not really require much other than bedrooms and bathrooms.

This cabin is wonderful. Plenty of room! Remember to bring your own soap for a shower. Very quiet getaway. Wifi can be interrupted.

Was easy to find, close to other attractions. Was very impressed with kitchen had crockpot, coffee maker, cooking utensils! Very well stocked! Bathrooms were clean, and beautifully decorated. Two nice covered porches with ample seating. Very secluded!

This propwrty was beautiful, peaceful and very clean. I was amazed at how stocked with needed supplies compared to most. Washer and dryer. Hot tub. Wrap around porch and swing melt away the stress. Bedrooms were spacious and very comfortable. Pool and foosball in the basement for the kids. We had a wonderful stay!

Couldn't get on internet

Very restful, peaceful place to stay in beautiful country setting. Conveniently located, 15 minutes to most of the Hocking Hills hiking trails; WiFi is spotty, but likely to be expected in the hills. Direct TV worked well. Pizza Crossing and yogurt place next door in Logan were great!! We had a wonderful time.

This was an absolutely perfect place to stay for hiking at hocking hills , only like a 15 minute drive to the park and the place is beautiful the owner thought of everything. If I had to give one negative it’s the WiFi wasn’t working but I definitely was not there to be on my phone so not that big of a deal. I would definitely recommend

Everything was fantastic and if I’m ever back in the area again, I will be sure to book it! Definitely would recommend.

I have a hard time calling it a cabin because it was so nice! Beautiful, clean, well equipped. We had an amazing time. The 12-14 min drive to Hocking Hills Visitor Center each day was easy, kinda nice to get away even a little further from people in the afternoon. We plan to make this a regular family trip.

Great cabin for a hiking getaway!

Property and house was great! I wish we had more time there to enjoy everything. Nestled in a wooden area, view would be absolutely beautiful in the coming months. Place was very nice and clean!

Overall, a great stay! We loved the fire pit and it's very quiet. Property was clean and no issues with check-in. Master bed was comfy, others were a little hard/old. Water pressure in the shower was really weak. We still really enjoyed the stay!

The location was quiet. You could see the sunrise from the very clean hot tub on the deck. Relatively close to Hocking Hills

My bridal party and I very much enjoyed our night here. The scenery was absolutely amazing with great foliage. And the cabin is just stunning.

This cabin is in a beautiful setting, private, quiet, with natural beauty, and stars at night were outstanding. This was a 3-day retreat for our nonprofit, time to relax and plan for next year's activities. The cabin was beautiful, very comfortable, everything we needed. We are planning on returning next year.

We had a girls weekend and decided this was the perfect cabin for us. The interior was clean and cozy. We enjoyed the mowed path to the pond. The hot tub was nice after hiking. The kitchen was well equipped and we would absolutely stay again.

Great place tucked away. Kids loved the space upstairs and we enjoyed the hot tub while star gazing. Place was clean but lots of dust

This cabin had an insane amount of stink bugs when we stayed. The cable wasn’t working. Reached out to property manager who said it should be working and reset the box. Very helpful. Why didn’t we think of that? BUT… most importantly… the day of departure it’s asked that you remove all bedding. When we did we found bed bugs. We have thrown away hundreds of dollars in belongings. When we reached out to manager to let her know she said she was sending an inspector. I mean that’s great for after the fact, but no offer to refund our bed bug stay or even an apology. Total nightmare for our family. Would not recommend this place.
