South Plateau Cabins - a Cozy, Beautiful Log Home near Yellowstone

Nice well set up cabin in quiet area. Comfortable couch, well equipped kitchen. Tv etc.Only down side was the stairs to the bedroom were very narrow and steep and the bed was hard for me. We had to be very careful going downstairs in the middle of the night to use the bathroom.Other than that a very nice play to stay.

The cabin was spotless and cozy and exactly as pictured! The owner was very receptive and courteous. Check-in could not have been easier! The cabin is conveniently located on an extremely quiet stretch of a main street. Restaurants and groceries were within walking distance or a short drive. We never heard any traffic or other guests. It was just a two minute drive to the west entrance of the park. The only concern was navigating a steep staircase from the upstairs bedroom to the downstairs bathroom in the middle of the night. We simply took our time and used the stair railings and we were fine.

Great location. Very convenient to Yellowstone Park West Entrance and walking distance to the town of West Yellowstone. Cabin very clean and well stocked. For us, it was perfect in every way.

Great location on the edge of town, really quiet. 3 minutes to the park entrance. Short walk to downtown, restaurants. Cabin was extremely clean and cozy. Bed was comfortable. Would definitely stay again.

We totally enjoyed staying in this lovely log cabin. The kitchen was very well equipt. The decor was beautiful and comfortable. The tempur-pedic mattress was terrific, and the location to the West Entrance to Yellowstone NP was extremely convenient. We can definitely recommend this cabin.

Adorable cabin within minutes to Yellowstone. Located on a quiet street. Super clean and comfortable. Had everything we needed for a 3 night stay. Stores, restaurants & groceries are all very close. Patio with grill was very nice. We loved it and have already recommended to friends.

This is a great get away cabin. Located at the edge of town so great for getting around. Very quiet and comfortable. Possibly the cleanest unit we have ever stayed in. Highly recommend.

My family of 4 were very comfortable staying here. It was clean, and provided the space and use of a kitchen that made our trip comfortable and enjoyable. We mostly took advantage of Yellowstone National Park, but also relaxed as a family together. Thank you for providing a lovely place to do so!

We had an amazing time in Yellowstone. The cabin was perfect and had all the amenities you would need. We stayed during the 4th of July, and the fireworks were literally right out your front door. Communication was easy with the owners. Highly recommend for anyone staying in town.

Very nice cottage tucked away in a quiet corner of West Yellowstone. Just couple of minutes away from NP gate, this place was perfect for us. Good space for family to unwind, full kitchen and pretty clean bathroom. Bedroom on 2nd floor with a comfortable king bed and two twins for kids. No bathroom upstairs but it wasn’t a big deal for us. Host was very responsive and accommodating. Will come back again when visiting the park.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in this wonderful 1930's vintage cabin. It was spotless and had everything we needed. The host, Justin, could not have been nicer or more helpful. Although we had little reason to contact him, he was always very quick to respond when we had a question. The cabin is located in a very quiet neighborhood within easy walking distance to shops and restaurants. Like most visitors to West Yellowstone, the reason for our stay was to visit Yellowstone National Park. The entrance to the park and the visitor's center are maybe a mile from the cabin, no wasted time commuting. We highly recommend this lovely cabin. If you are someone who finds stairs a challenge, you may have an issue with the stairs to the sleeping area, they are steep and have narrow treads so one must be careful. Other than that, it is a quiet, convenient charmer.

Very nice stay, full kitchen, perfect location to park and all the restaurants and shopping, excellent communication with the host. The stairs going up to the bedroom were a little challenging at first, very narrow steps.

Great host and communication. There is even Netflix, Paramount Plus, and Amazon TV available. We had a great stay there.

Everything as advertised. Sorry we had to leave the last bag of trash in the cabin, but the dumpster was overflowing and then some.

This cabin was perfect for getting away and still being close all the things we needed. There was a grocery close by, lots of shops, restaurants and so close to the west entrance to Yellowstone National Park. The owners responded quickly to every question we had. We will be back.

Property is very nice; it is at a convenient location. The only negative is the stairs where challenging for us old folks that need to take a bathroom trip in the middle of the night.

The property is clearly described and was just as described upon arrival. We were looking for a clean and comfortable place to stay next to the park - this is it. It is in town and right next to other houses and near a hotel - no problem at all, still quiet enough to open the windows at night. Communications were great - easy to find and check in/out. I would note that if you have mobility limitations, the bedrooms are upstairs (as noted in the description) and the stairs are a little tricky. We loved the stay and would be delighted to go back again. And yes, we had a great time in Yellowstone, Grand Tetons, and Cody!

Our family of 5 stayed here for 3 nights when we explored Yellowstone NP. It’s conveniently located to the west entrance yet it’s away from the busy stretch of road in town. So cozy and clean, and we especially loved the table on the back porch. Highly recommend.

We had a wonderful stay at the South Plateau Cabin. It was clean and cozy and had everything we needed as a base camp after long days in the park. Just minutes away from the West entry gate, we were in the park within 10 minutes every morning. Justin was a very helpful host and we especially loved relaxing while having our breakfast and dinner on the back deck and admiring his beautiful garden. Already wishing we can come back soon!
