My family of 9 stayed here for 6 nights from July 10th through the 16th and we couldn't have been any happier. Everything was so wonderful. Jackie was so nice! We love sitting on the porch watching all the humming birds. They provided so many things that you didn't have to go to the store and buy. The kids loved going down to the creek. It was just a great relaxing time. We will definetely be back😃

Loved it! Private deluxe log cabin whimsically decorated with all the comforts of home. With a creek to hike in, quiet road to bike on, and huge front porch on which to enjoy the birds & the view, we didn't want to leave. Amish store a few minutes away, but kitchen & bathrooms so well stocked we didn't need to re-supply much. We highly recommend it!

The cabin was spotless. It had plenty of space. It was quiet and peaceful. The owners were always available but non-intrusive. Our only regret is that we could not stay longer. We hope to stay here again in the future.

Exceptional property with exceptional hosts!!! The cabin was gorgeous, stocked with everything you'll need to have an enjoyable, relaxing stay. We loved the large covered front porch, as well as the fire pit and dining area located at the back of the cabin. Private and quiet. 5 Stars!!!

Our family always enjoys staying at the Sonshine Cabin. It's a peaceful place, and the house is beautiful and always clean. We love sitting on the front porch and enjoying the quiet country setting. We'll definitely be back for another visit.

Another great trip (#5 for our family here)!! Again, the house and property were ready for our arrival. Plenty of supplies, towels, and firewood. We loved watching the birds come up to the feeders on the porch, listening to several types of woodpeckers, and hearing the turkeys down the hill. Even saw a deer as we were getting ready to leave. The huge yard and firepit out back are always a big hit for us. And we used the Blackstone at least 2 meals a day . Beautiful views of the sky and stars. Also, hit up Country Creations for some delicious pies. Only a few miles from the cabin. Jackie is a great host and we look forward to more trips in the future.

The host is wonderful, great communication and very accomodating. The cabin is exceptional and the location is magical. You could do no better. We have stayed here twice now and can see a third time in our future. We would recommend this place to anyone looking to recharge or reset. Great for a family and absolutely incredible for two. Needless to say we love this place and others will too. .

The hosts were very friendly and responsive, the cabin was charming, clean and well cared for and the kitchen was nicely redone. My kids really liked the large yard to run around and the trail to the creek. It's off the beaten path so it's peaceful and private but not in the middle of nowhere so it's an easy drive to Madison or Versailles if you need to go to the store or want to walk around the downtown.Overall it was a great time and I would definitely stay there again!

This place is a gem!! Beautiful, clean and comfortable. We were in town for our daughter’s wedding and they allowed us to take the bridal pictures on the property, which is gorgeous!! I can’t to see them! Thank you so much Jackie, you were wonderful to work with!

Sonshine Cabin was amazing! Our entire family enjoyed the serenity of the outdoors with bird watching, nightly firefly beauty, picking wild flowers and hiking to and through the creek. The cabin was clean, well supplied with everything we needed to enjoy a stress free vacation. The hosts were accommodating and communication with them was easy and friendly. We could love to stay at Sonshine Cabin next time we are in the area. Thank you for providing such a relaxing place to stay!

This was our second stay at Sonshine cabin and it was amazing! We wanted to get away somewhere relaxing for our anniversary. Sonshine cabin was the perfect spot!! Check-in was very easy & we had good communication with Greg & Jackie. The kitchen is very adequately stocked with anything you could need. We enjoyed having meals on the front porch so we could watch the birds! We enjoyed a hike to the creek and also a game of disc golf. We highly recommend Sonshine cabin!!

We could complain that our 20 mile walk left us with blisters, but there was no complaining about our stay at this cabin. It is a very beautiful place and we would recommend it to anyone. We all need a front porch and hammock view this place has. Thanks again Jackie and Greg

This is our 4th stay at the cabin. We have been doing sister trips for 26 years and I have to say this cabin was stocked better than any of the others. The beds were extremely comfortable and the landscaping and grounds are meticulously kept. We will definitely be back for a 5th year

This home is perfect for a larger family or a couple of families traveling together. There’s plenty of space inside to spread out or to all be together. There’s a wonderful front porch where you can enjoy the birds coming to the birdfeeder seeing the hummingbirds and the woodpeckers and the bluebirds. In the backyard there’s a place to sit and eat outside. There’s also a fire pit together around or if you feel like a short walk you can take a hike down to the creek where when there’s enough water there will also be a waterfall. We stayed here when our daughter graduated from Hanover in 2023. We knew as our youngest was graduating this year that we wanted to come back and stay again. There’s never enough time here we’re always busy doing other things so we have made it a goal to come back and stay some time when we have nothing going on and we can just enjoy the property and each other.

I have never stayed someplace more perfect than Sonshine Cabin. The owners truly have thought of everything. The beds were so amazing and made it hard to get out of bed in the morning, but the beauty of the property was calling our name. The covered porch was perfect for morning coffee. This place was perfect to restore and refresh our weary souls. It truly felt like a home away from home with no chores or tasks to attend to, leaving room to focus more on finding that peaceful, restful, place I believe we all long for and should prioritize more often. If you are a believer I am quite certain you will sense God's presence in an obvious way. Be prepared to not want to leave this sheer perfect sanctuary of peace and solitude. And don't worry, there are plenty of opportunities for fun things as well so it has something for everyone. Already planning our next visit. This cabin was perfect for our annual family getaway without traveling too far from home. The setting in the woods with a short trail walk to a creek with a beautiful waterfall was exactly as described. The cabin was very clean with all the amenities you could ask for. Jackie is a wonderful attentive host! We were excited to see all the birds while sitting on the comfortable front porch. We also saw deer and wild turkey in the adjacent field. Will definitely come back and would like to explore more of the surrounding area.

This place was perfect for us. Loved the decor. Very well stocked kitchen. Already looking forward to the next trip. The host was very responsive in communication. We could not have been more pleased. BONUS, the are a great Christian family!

A truly perfect place to get away. Incredibly clean, tactfully decorated, well-stocked with amenities, safe and secluded cabin away from it all yet nearby to downtown Madison Indiana. My wife, my kids, and I did not want to leave. The swings in the yard and on the front porch created dreams for us. Thank you for allowing us to stay in your beautiful home.

We asked the kids the best part and they said playing at the cabin. They love the creek down below and the fish that sings. The cabin was clean and well stocked with kitchen needs. Plenty of blankets to snuggle up on the couch as well.

This home/cabin is a great place to stay. It has so many positives. The interior is very comfortable and inviting, with nice woodwork throughout the kitchen, living area, and bedrooms. Outside has a great front porch, deck in back, spacious yard and trees, and a winding path down through the woods to the creek and waterfall. Very quiet and private area. 15 miles or so to downtown Madison, which has walkable main street with nice shops and restaurants. Clifty Falls State Park has great hiking. Lots of rain when we visited, but, that didn't dampen our enjoyment. And, made the waterfalls more dramatic.

My family and I truly enjoyed our stay. We love coming here it has all the amenities that added to our comfort. Hosts were very accommodating which was really appreciated.

This was our 4th stay here! The location is just what our family wants/needs. Lots of privacy, huge yard for our boys to play in, great house set up, and the creek to play in. We love getting to watch all kinds of birds from sun up to sun down. Great front porch to enjoy morning coffee and the firepit out back for the evenings (or all day). This was our third stay at Sonshine Cabin! We love the cozy feel of this cabin and that it is secluded and quiet. We enjoyed shopping in Madison, Clifty Falls, the creek down the trail behind the cabin, and just relaxing watching movies, sitting on the porch and cooking meals with our family and friends. We will definitely be back again.

This was our second time to stay at Sonshine Cabin. It is very clean! Decorated super cute and the kitchen is well appointed. Owners are great with communication, as well. We will definitely come again.

Perfect place to bring in the new year and celebrate my wife’s birthday. Property was exactly as described and cabin was the cleanest Vrbo we have ever seen. The creek, cascades and waterfall had a nice flow due recent rains which my wife loved. Communication was prompt and polite. Highly Recommend!!

We have been blessed this year to see Sonshine in all 4 seasons! Each season offers a different kind of beauty, its too hard to pick our favorite. But it doesn't really matter because we adore this cabin. Its so cozy, clean and inviting. The land surrounding it is so beautiful. We look forward to doing it all over again!

We're a group of five nature loving guys, AKA The Nature Guys and this was our 3rd stay at the Sonshine Cabin. The cabin is extremely well equipped and spotless. The owners go to great lengths to have it pleasantly decorated with a seasonal theme. The location and grounds are perfect for our group - quiet, peaceful and a wonderful natural area. We HIGHLY recommend the Sonshine Cabin for people of like interests.

This is a tremendous location if you are looking for peace and solitude. The natural setting is perfect for relaxation and exploring nature. Not to mention the wonderful campfire circle in the backyard. The cabin is just about perfect...impeccably clean, well-furnished and the beds are very comfortable. Our family enjoyed a wonderful weekend together. I cannot recommend it highly enough...we will return!

This cabin is located on a stunningly beautiful piece of land. There is a creek, hiking trail, fire pit, hammock, and plenty of wildlife to watch. Versailles is conveniently located about 15 minutes away, and Madison 30 minutes. Our family of six slept comfortably in this cabin, we had everything that we needed for a comfortable stay. I would definitely stay here again, and would definitely recommend this cabin to anyone looking for a clean, comfortable, relaxing place to spend some time.
