Solitude Secluded 1 BR Cabin Nestled in the Woods w/ Hot Tub near Luray, VA.

Nice for weekend

Great spot for 1-2 people. We only stayed for one night, but we'll definitely take advantage of the kitchen when we get a chance to stay again for longer. Everything was super clean, the hot tub was great. It certainly lives up to the name, nothing visible from the property but trees.

Easy last minute booking. Host was super accommodating. Definitely recommend, and will be back for a longer stay.

The hot tub was great after long hikes. The space is very comfortable. The area is quiet and secluded, about 15 minutes north of Luray and half an hour from the entrance to Shenandoah Park.

We had an amazing stay at Solitude! The cabin was cozy, warm, and perfectly secluded—exactly what we needed for a relaxing weekend getaway. The peacefulness, privacy, and cleanliness of the home were definite highlights.The cabin was easy to find, and the location made it simple to explore the surrounding areas. The kitchen was fully equipped with everything we needed, and the hot tub—perfectly placed right outside the primary bedroom—made slipping in and out incredibly convenient and added such a nice touch to the experience.The owner was wonderful to work with and very accommodating throughout the process. We had such a great time that we’re already looking at the calendar and planning our next visit.It’s easy to see why this cabin is rated so highly.

Everything was awesome!

This cabin is as exactly as promised. It is the perfect secluded retreat and getaway location. The amenities and house are well taken care of. During our stay, we had an issue with the hot water. In this day and age, it would be so easy to lose your cool, but we can't say enough about how responsive the owners were to take care of this problem and stay in contact with us regarding the issue. Not every host will do that. We sincerely hope to get back in the future.

Place is amazing. Beautiful, quiet, romantic and perfect for a little getaway for us. Would recommend for anyone who needs a trip away from reality. Will be back again

excellent location. Awesome floor plan for this one bedroom one bath cabin. Was very clean and had a perfect view of Shenandoah River.Bed was vm very comfy, large full bathroom & great four person hot tub on the front porch overlooking a great view of the river. Even with it being 90 at night we enjoyed the hot temps of the hot tub.Can’t wait to come back in the spring when everything is green. Highly recommend this cabin. Wonderful getaway!

First and foremost the pictures do not do this place justice. When we arrived, the first impression was perfect, clean, spacious, warm, inviting and the views are remarkable. There is a simplicity about the property.. the views from the hot tub cant be explained… oh and by day two we were welcomed by an amazing family of deer..these little surprises given by Mother Nature will keep us coming back! We came to celebrate our 10th New Year together and we can’t wait to come back to celebrate anything else! If you’re thinking about booking.. do it- you won’t regret it!

Appreciated the great communication the host provided. We REALLY appreciated just how clean the cabin was. It was such a nice cabin to stay in for a quick 2-night get-away. It was the perfect layout and size for a cozy place for just the two of us. Hot tub was wonderful (and so clean!!!). The firepit with logs provided was amazing - something we do not have back home, and my husband really enjoyed building a fire both nights. It was very mesmerizing sitting out by the fire with a glass of wine. The bed was quite comfortable, and we both slept great. While we didn't get to see any wildlife while we were there, it was so neat to hear a fox barking the first night and then the hoot of the owls at night and in the early morning hours. Location worked great for us. We visited the new Buc-ee's in VA (only about an hour away) as well as drove Skyline Drive. I would absolutely recommend this cabin as well as the host being very easy to communicate with.

The cabin is beautiful the host is great!! Always answering you right away for any questions !! We will go back we just feel so relaxed and peaceful as soon as we get there. I would recommend this cabin to everyone

This place was fantastic, I would actually say it was better than advertised. It was clean, cute, and private. My only complaint is I think the bedding policy is unusual, with that said it was not a big deal at all. I would highly recommend this spot and plan to stay again.

Solitude- could not see/hear any neighbors except the owls at night! Spacious, clean, comfy bed. Everything as described. Nice to have grocery store relatively close.

Private, clean, just beautiful!

Beautiful pet friendly cabin perfectly named as Solitude. I needed a place to get away from the city for a quick weekend getaway with my dog and it was perfect. I enjoyed sitting in the sun in the chairs around the fire pit, the hot tub, and just easing into my day watching the sun come up on the porch. I was extremely happy to find all of the chairs comfortable as I’m short and sometimes that’s an issue but I was able to relax with my pup. Just the short getaway I needed!

The name of the cabin fits it perfectly! It is very private in the woods. The view of the forest cannot be beat. Check in was very easy and kitchen is well stocked.

This place was absolutely amazing. It is so quiet and pristine, the town is really cool but the property itself is amazing. Really nice hot tub kept in perfect condition, I didnt hear a single car as its tucked away near the end of a road, the host was great about communication, the shower was really nice, the place was very clean and the property grounds itself were beautful. Fell in love with this place and will absolutely come back! My hope is that guests are respectful of the property and it continues to be a wondeful retreat

Loved the privacy

This was a great weekend get away for my wife and I. The cabin was situated in beautiful Virginia hard wood forrest. Interrior was immaculate on the inside. The hot tub under roof on the poorch was the perfect place to relax to the sound of the thunderstorms that rolled through the area. Overall a great experience that i will gladly repeat in the future.

We spent 4 nights at Solitude celebrating our 4th anniversary (actually 24 years together). The cabin, property, and area were just perfect for us and our dog. So relaxing to use the hot tub or sit by a fire after a day of exploring the Skyline Drive, Luray Cverns, the Civil War museum. Cooters was a hoot and dog friendly!

This really is the perfect cabin. Private and clean. Highly recommend!

This is a best name for this cabin. It is peaceful and cozy. The cabin was clean and beautiful. The horizon was a wonderful, relaxing plus. We will definitely return again!

My wife & I needed a break from the daily grind & this place was exactly what the doctor ordered. Highly highly recommend this place to anyone. We hope to be able to return again sometime

We wanted solitude and got it! Lazy mornings, long hikes, hot tub relaxing, and lots of reading while ignoring our phones. Perfect!

Great place to get my head clear

We had a wonderful and recuperative weekend at Solitude. We especially enjoyed the hot tub and the fireplace. Perfect!

We've been using VRBO for years and this property was HANDS DOWN the nicest we've ever stayed at. It was true to the pics. It was extremely clean and well appointed. The hot tub and fire pit were terrific. The winter mountain view thru the trees was breathtaking. It is the perfect spot for a romantic mountain getaway.

We really enjoyed the peace and tranquility of our short but relaxing getaway. Everything was as described in the listing, and location was a short drive to hiking, breweries and shops. Would definitely recommend!

This is the perfect place if you want true solitude in the mountains yet you'd like to run out for lunch or dinner without driving an hour! Such a peaceful location with mountain views--and going into Luray was a breeze (we highly recommend West Main Deli & Beer Garden . . . the food, drinks & atmosphere were wonderful!). We got into the habit of bringing everything we could think of to VRBOs, and then lost the habit once we realized that so many places were stocked full of needed items (soap, shampoos, condiments, spices for cooking, etc.). For this place, DO bring whatever you think you'll need: soap, shampoo, condiments, cooking spices, etc. Also, bring your own charcoal and lighter fluid if you want to grill. Once you have everything, you might not want to leave!

The property was exactly as described. The place was clean and well maintained. I had a small hag up witht the detectors going off. It was resolved quickly. This was my 1st stay with a vrbo. I was super happy. I would recommend this place to anyone.
