A CABIN WITH A STORY

Blue Smoke Outpost is more than a place to sleep between Smoky Mountain adventures. It is designed to feel like the retreat of a lifelong explorer who has returned home after years of travel.

The cabin’s story unfolds through warm wood, collected maps, vintage-inspired artwork, botanical details, brass accents, leather, woven textures, deep greens, earthy rust tones, and comfortable furnishings. Each room has its own identity, but the experience remains cohesive: relaxed, welcoming, adventurous, and distinctly different from a standard cabin rental.

The result is a retreat that appeals to families, couples, friends, and multigenerational groups alike. Children can discover the bunk room and game nook, adults can relax in one of three king bedrooms, dogs can join the family getaway, and everyone can gather for pool time, movie nights, meals, games, and evenings in the hot tub.

THE COLLECTOR’S GALLERY

The main living room serves as the heart of Blue Smoke Outpost.

Known as The Collector’s Gallery, this warm and inviting gathering space is designed for slow mornings, afternoon conversations, and relaxed evenings after exploring the Smokies. Settle into the comfortable seating, stream a favorite show or movie on the large television, plan the next day’s adventure, or simply enjoy the glow and character of the cabin’s wood interior.

Explorer-inspired artwork, layered textures, deep natural colors, and collected decorative pieces give the room personality without sacrificing comfort.

This is where your group can reconnect over coffee, share stories from the day, watch the big game, or unwind while the kids enjoy the game nook or indoor pool.

THE PROVISIONER’S KITCHEN

The fully equipped kitchen provides the space and essentials your group needs for everything from quick breakfasts to full family dinners.

The kitchen includes:

• Full-size refrigerator

• Stove and oven

• Microwave

• Dishwasher

• Coffee maker

• Toaster

• Cookware

• Baking essentials

• Dishes and utensils

• Glassware and mugs

• Food-preparation space

• Bar seating

Start the morning with coffee before heading into Great Smoky Mountains National Park, prepare snacks between swimming sessions, or cook dinner together after a full day in Gatlinburg or Pigeon Forge.

The open layout keeps the cook connected to the rest of the group rather than tucked away from the activity.

THE EXPLORER’S TABLE

The adjacent dining area offers seating for up to eight guests, making it easy for everyone to gather in one place.

Share breakfast before the day begins, enjoy a relaxed dinner at the cabin, bring out the cards and board games, or plan the next day’s itinerary around the table.

The space is designed to feel warm and social, with travel-inspired details that connect it to the broader explorer theme of the cabin.

THREE DISTINCT KING BEDROOMS

Blue Smoke Outpost includes three king bedrooms, giving the adults in your group comfortable sleeping accommodations without requiring anyone to settle for a sofa bed.

Rather than repeating the same design in every room, each bedroom has its own identity and mood.

THE CARTOGRAPHER’S SUITE

The main-level king bedroom is inspired by the explorer who planned every journey before setting out.

The room features a king bed, layered colored bedding, warm lighting, map-inspired artwork, natural textures, storage, and convenient access to the main living spaces. Its main-level location makes it especially convenient for guests who prefer to minimize trips up and down the stairs.

The nearby full bathroom provides space to prepare for morning hikes, afternoon outings, or dinner in town.

THE BOTANIST’S SUITE

One of the upper-level king bedrooms takes its inspiration from the plants, landscapes, and natural discoveries collected along the journey.

Earthy greens, botanical artwork, warm wood, textured bedding, and nature-inspired details create a restful space that feels both polished and grounded.

This room is designed as a quiet retreat at the end of the day, with a king bed, television, storage, and convenient access to the upper-level bathroom.

THE STARGAZER SUITE

The second upper-level king bedroom is inspired by quiet mountain nights and the skies above the Smokies.

Deeper tones, rich textures, warm lighting, and mountain-sky details create a calm and comfortable retreat. The king bed provides ample room to recharge after a day of hiking, shopping, swimming, or sightseeing.

A television and nearby bathroom add convenience without distracting from the room’s relaxed atmosphere.

JUNIOR EXPLORERS’ QUARTERS

The bunk room is designed to work for children, teenagers, and adults—not only small children.

Known as Junior Explorers’ Quarters, this room features bunks with a more elevated, comfortable design than a typical children’s bunk space. Individual lighting, charging access, durable bedding, storage, and adventure-inspired details create a room that is fun for younger guests but still polished and functional for older guests. This is a twin over twin bunk bed.

THE LOOKOUT GAME NOOK

The upper sitting area has been transformed into The Lookout Game Nook, bringing the cabin’s games into a brighter and more intentional gathering space.

Challenge someone to a round of air hockey, revisit classic favorites on the multicade arcade, or relax nearby while the rest of the group plays.

Moving the games upstairs creates a fun hangout area that feels connected to the cabin while allowing the lower level to serve as a more dedicated pool and theater destination.

The game nook is ideal for:

• Family air-hockey tournaments

• Classic arcade games

• Teen hangout time

• Rainy afternoons

• Evening entertainment

• Friendly competition between pool sessions

THE OUTPOST CINEMA

Movie night is part of the experience at Blue Smoke Outpost.

The lower-level theater room, known as The Outpost Cinema, gives your group a dedicated place to settle in for movies, shows, sports, or a quiet evening indoors.

After a day at Dollywood, hiking in the national park, shopping in Gatlinburg, or swimming in the pool, gather together for a movie without taking over the main living room.

The theater adds another year-round entertainment option, particularly during rainy days, cold winter evenings, and slower nights when everyone is ready to relax at the cabin.

Televisions are streaming-based, so guests should bring login information for their preferred streaming services.

THE HIDDEN OASIS

The signature feature of Blue Smoke Outpost is The Hidden Oasis, a private heated indoor pool tucked inside the cabin.

The pool room is designed as a tropical-inspired surprise within the mountain retreat. Lush botanical details, warm lighting, rich green tones, natural textures, and comfortable poolside elements create a space that feels distinct from the rest of the cabin while remaining connected to the explorer story.

The private indoor pool measures approximately 12 by 6 feet and reaches up to approximately 5 feet at its deepest point. It is well suited for splashing, floating, cooling off, and enjoying year-round pool time without leaving the property.

Because the pool is indoors, your group can enjoy it in every season—summer afternoons, rainy spring days, cool fall evenings, and winter getaways.

The pool is heated to a comfortable swimming temperature, 82-84 degrees. It is not heated to hot-tub temperatures.

Children must be actively supervised by a responsible adult at all times. There is no lifeguard on duty, and all pool alarms and safety rules must be followed.

THE STARGAZER SOAK

Step outside and relax in the private outdoor hot tub surrounded by the cabin’s wooded mountain setting.

Known as The Stargazer Soak, the hot tub offers a peaceful place to unwind after hiking, exploring downtown Gatlinburg, visiting Dollywood, or spending the afternoon in the indoor pool.

Enjoy an evening soak, listen t…
