Smoky Mountains Cabin w/ Hot Tub, Deck & Views!

Our stay was ultimately satisfactory, but the check-in experience was very frustrating. We had not received the front door access code required to enter the cabin. When we contacted the host through the VRBO messaging system for assistance, we were told to communicate outside of the platform and contact a third-party maintenance company instead.Because we were unable to obtain the access code through the host, we contacted VRBO customer support. VRBO assisted us and the host eventually provided the code, allowing us to access the property.The cabin itself met our expectations, but the lack of timely assistance during check-in significantly impacted our experience. In our many years of using short-term rentals, we have not encountered a similar issue. While the property was acceptable, we would choose a different rental in the area based on the level of customer service we received.

This home was stunning. It is beautifully decorated. Its Clean. The environment was do peaceful and so close to everything. We would rent hemlock hideaway again without question. Highly revommended.

Very private feel even with other cabins nearby. The bear sightings were an extra bonus!

The cabin was beautiful. The layout was perfect for 3 couples. We each had our own level in the cabin which we really liked. All 3 levels were equally nice. Each level with its own bathroom. The hot tub was really nice. The parking was good. The communication with the owner was very easy. The cabin is quite a ways back so be prepared to drive a ways but it’s worth it. It’s very beautiful back there. I would definitely recommend this place.

Very clean and comfortable! We really appreciated the fall decor. Many cabin owners forget that families are gathering for the season or holiday and want to feel like they are celebrating the season. We thoroughly enjoyed having that feeling of fall, the fireplace, and being cozy.

Hemlock Hideaway was a great choice for our group of 3 couples. Each couple had a private ensuite, the gathering spot at the fireplace was comforting and cozy with enough comfortable seating for the 6 of us and we enjoyed the hottub and watching smowflakes fall on cold November evenings. We all agreed that we would be happy to return.

Stayed with friends. Checkin was very easy and the cabin was big and spacious and very cosy. All essentials provided. Great location high in mountains with good views from a short stroll. Local bears present weren’t threatening. Too busy to try the hot tub (with regret)! Had a great time and would go again.

Beautiful cabin with dense woods around, beautiful decor, newly renovated inside, smooth check-in and check-out experience. Would have loved to stay more nights.
