Stayed Nov 22, 2023A group of friends (and dogs) rented this cabin for Thankgiving. We had a great stay overall in the end, however be warned about the numerous policies from this place. The main warning is that they only allow you 3 hours for check-in (4p-7p) otherwise they try to charge you a $75 late check-in fee. And the person who booked the rental has to be the one to check-in. This was a little absurd since we were traveling the day before Thanksgiving, had to work until 6p, then had a 4 hour drive in traffic. There was no way we would make it in time so I called the office weeks prior to see if they could make any adjustments and they told me it would be $75 late check-in. I also asked if I had to be the one to check-in or if a friend could since she could arrive sooner than me. They told me to check within 24 hours of check-in if it's possible. Needless to say, this isn't very accommodating and doesn't allow for people to plan ahead. In the end, they were able to do a remote check-in so I didn't have the time constraint, nor did I have to be the first to arrive. I am grateful for that, but PLEASE reconsider your guest policies, especially because this isn't shared with renters until after you've confirmed the rental booking. Additionally, a word of advice to the rental management company, I'm assuming you've had issues in the past with parties, etc. however your communications are not hospitable. Every procedure starts with bold red letters about fees, not very welcoming.
