Stayed Nov 22, 2025We loved the charming, cozy cottage-beautifully decorated, clean, and set in a stunning spot with mountain sunrises. The peaceful vibe and ever-changing sky made our stay feel special. Its location near Damascus was perfect for exploring Grayson Highlands and biking Virginia Creeper Trail. After last years flooding, we were glad to visit and support this warm, welcoming community. Lovely, helpful host, too!

Stayed Sep 5, 2025Delightful cottage / extremely well equipped with very tasteful and charming decor. Loved the vintage feel and especially the lovely claw foot tub. Location was good but a little closer to the road than we expected based on the description. It is also a minimum of 30 minutes from any real facilities - but we actually enjoyed driving over the mountain. However that is the only minor comment I can make. Host was helpful and responsive too. Will definitely stay here again!

Stayed Aug 1, 2025What a precious home! Only because another family in our group was in a separate VRBO, the lack of texting, calling and GPS availability made a concerning situation since two of the 3 other family members are blind. Not having consistent open lines of communication available was not safe. Now we know. We were in town for the Braves-Reds Bristol game and are thankful we finally found a place to stay after reservations in hotels filled up very fast. What a precious place Damascus is and I hope our contributions to businesses was a blessing to them as rebuilding continues.

Stayed Jul 25, 2025My friends and I had a lovely time staying in the copper top cabin. It was a very convenient and comfortable home base for the neighboring hikes.

Stayed Jun 19, 2025We help with support for hikers (friends) on the AT in the area. The cabin is a perfect location just a few miles from the base camp. Near mt Rogers, and other recreation locations. Comfortable beds and Hot showers, and great location. We will be back next year.

Stayed Nov 3, 2024We loved staying here. Even my kids who I'd don't think would notice how well styled it is and how comfortable that made it to stay there. The beds were comfortable, the kitchen well stocked, the fire pit in the back nice to use. The only downside was leaving anas in we didn't want to leave and the Google map direct ions were a little weird but we found it and had a great time.

Stayed Sep 26, 2024What a weekend! Hurricane Helene came through on the first day of our stay. Autumn (owner) was fabulous with communication! We lost power and water (she warned us of the very likely possibility). Instead of hiking on the AT and biking on the Creeper Trail we spent our weekend helping neighbors. The house was wonderful and we have already planned a return visit. Thanks for everything!!

Stayed Aug 8, 2024Super comfortable and well-stocked cottage that was a perfect base-camp for a nearby reunion and the Creeper Trail. Autumn is a great host and replied quickly to any question. Would definitely stay here again and would highly recommend!
