Stayed Jul 21, 2020The location of this rental property is perfect for all activities in the Cashiers/Highland/Glenville area. Close to the main road but far enough that you only get a little road noise. The house itself is in a private setting but you don't feel completely isolated as there are other houses in the neighborhood, but placed in a way that you don't see or hear others. The house is perfect size to keep adults and children happy but affords some privacy. The common space was well equipped and easily enough space for 6. We had a bear come visit us every night before garbage day, but we never saw him, just the aftermath. The rental company was great about responding to questions and concerns. Would definitely stay here again..

Stayed Jun 29, 2020I hope our poor housekeeping experience is not the norm for this property or the property management company. The cabin is lovely. It’s just off Rte 64, so we heard some traffic noise, but the cabin is in the woods and it’s very convenient for exploring the area. Regarding the housekeeping, the whole house needed a deep clean. The kitchen was the worst— the refrigerator, counters, floor, rug, stove top, cupboards, drawers, utensils, dishes, and coffee pot all had food grime stuck on. It was bizarre. I’ve rented a number of homes through the years and have never experienced anything like this place. I made efforts— in person with photos, via text, and later an email— to communicate the issues and my disappointment with the rental company with limited success.
