Silver Salmon Lodge

Was the perfect property to relax and enjoy freshly caught salon on the grill.

We loved our stay at the Silver Salmon Lodge! We have stayed at 9 different rental homes across the country and they all have been lovely, but this was the best experience because of the excellent host. The home is beautiful, the location was perfect and we felt so welcomed from the moment we booked because of how Doug was so kind and thoughtful to us as guests. He is an excellent communicator and made sure we always had everything we needed. He had great advice for local experiences, including hikes, food and fishing. The rabbit family that lives under the front deck kept us entertained for hours! Our children loved seeing the precious baby bunnies! We highly recommend you book your vacation at the Silver Salmon Lodge, you will love it!

Everything from the home itself to the responsiveness of the property owner was 5 stars! I would give 6 stars if able. The Silver Salmon Lodge is the perfect space for an Alaskan get away. The home was clean and cozy. It is close to anything you need in Sterling/Soldotna and a perfect midpoint if you are trying to enjoy Homer and Seward. The freezer was a big plus for keeping our fish frozen from the beginning to the end of the trip. I would recommend this place to anyone traveling to Alaska!

We had a great stay at the Silver Salmon Lodge. It was well stocked with kitchen and bathroom supplies and centrally located. Doug was attentive to our every need. Thank you so much for the pleasant stay Doug! We definitely would rent from you again.

Great location, amenities, and just a great place.

Property was overall very nice. Located in a quiet neighborhood. Very clean. Only improvements would be the pillows in the downstairs bedrooms were terrible- need to be replaced.

This cabin is in the perfect location - kenai, Seward, Homer. Perfectly in the middle of everything. This is honestly the best stocked rental we have ever stayed in. Doug was so helpful and friendly. This truly was just an excellent trip and this cabin was perfect!

The home was well equipped with everything we needed. We only stayed one night, but enjoyed our time there. We are a family of 5 and had plenty of room. We even saw several moose on the property while we were there!

Doug was absolutely amazing! Within minutes of booking he reached out to welcome us and to learn about our trip. We had a slight issue on our side prior to the trip and he was quick to respond, helping us to resolve it in a day. After taking time to know a little more about us he provided great suggestions for our trip. He was an incredible communicator through the entire process. Doug went above and beyond and it shows that he truly cares about peoples experience and satisfaction with his cabin.The cabin was perfect for our trip. It was clean and well stocked with everything we needed to include fishing poles. My son was able to go out almost every night and enjoy the outdoors exploring new lakes to fish on. The location truly felt like a getaway, but also in a great spot to explore the surrounding area. We also had a few visitors (mama moose and babies) stroll by. Traveling (especially with kids that don't always get along) can be stressful, but having this cabin to come back to after our days out was such a blessing. I highly recommend staying here and would stay again if we visit again!
