Sierra Vista | Pet Friendly, Hot Tub, Balcony!

THe property was nice. The carpet in the living room rolls up at the ends and is a tripping hazard. The reclining chair seems unsteady also. Everything else was excellent!

The house was perfect for our little Christmas getaway. There were 6 of us and plenty of room for all of us.

All very good but as a senior citizen I find the VRBO booking and checking process to be challenging Just a note .. commode handle in main bedroom bathroom hangs. And must be lifted up after each flush to keep the water from running

It was a great open place to stay for the weekend. Hot tub did NOT work which was a main reason that we picked the property in first place.

We recently reserved this spot. Unfortunately when we arrived there was a major leak in the main bathroom and we had our accommodations switched to another property. No longer beautiful views or scenic- off a main road. Grateful to still have the hot tub we had hoped for we were ok but sad and somewhat disappointed.we would have been ok but the second night the lock battery died and we could not get in after a long day out.we had to wait over an hour for the emergency maintenance to let us in and fix. He was kind nor his fault however it was extremely inconvenient and frustrating to have two such things happen same trip. I had hoped this company would reach out and offer to make things right we deserve a discount or some compensation from price for all the inconvenience dealt with. Sadly they did not reach out after I asked for someone to contact me. They did let me know I get the 10% off everyone else does thank you for patronizing me with that discount. I’m a kind customer who would have been happy with small recompense and an apology.they did not instead they the battery.

We had a great stay at this property in Ruidoso. It was clean, comfortable, and conveniently located close to town. We would stay here again!

Look no further than this idyllic home if you want a getaway to the New Mexico mountains. The view is breathtaking and awe-inspiring. The open floor plan gives the sense of not being overcrowded. My husband kept telling me as we gazed at the beauty from our deck that I picked the perfect place to stay.

Our stay was okay. It was not the best experience we had, but it was decent. The ad says it's a 2-minute walk from Grindstone Lake. This is misleading because it's definitely not a 2-minute walk; it's actually a 5-minute drive to the lake. We chose the cabin specifically because we thought it was a 2-minute walk to the lake, so that was a bummer. There are definitely some things that would have been nice if they were there. We thought there was no antibacterial hand soap the whole time, but we found some under the cabinet in the downstairs bathroom the day we were leaving. There were bar soaps, but I was not sure if they were antibacterial. No coffee filters. There was very little dish soap, so we had to conserve when doing dishes. They had no seasonings that included salt and pepper. Some of the dishes still had food on them. Especially this spachula we wanted to use. The kitchen table that everyone eats on is extremely sticky, and soap and water did not help at all. So, if you stay here, make sure you bring kitchen essentials because they did not have them and we had to go buy them. The downstairs toilet kept running constantly, and the upstairs bathtub does not drain well. On the plus side, we got to see deer, so that was nice. The location was nice, and it was very spacious. The kitchen was big so it was easy to cook in.

This was an unforgettable stay in Ruidoso and I couldn't be more pleased with the experience. The property was immaculate, beautifully decorated, and equipped with all the amenities needed for a comfortable and relaxing getaway. The kitchen was fully stocked, making it easy to prepare meals, and the cozy living room with a fireplace and TV provided the perfect spot to unwind after a day of exploring. The location was ideal, nestled in a serene and picturesque setting with stunning mountain views. It was just a short drive to local attractions, hiking trails, and charming downtown Ruidoso. The host was incredibly accommodating and responsive, ensuring we had everything we needed for a pleasant stay. Overall, this VRBO house exceeded my expectations in every way. I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a peaceful retreat in the beautiful surroundings of Ruidoso. I can't wait to return!
