We had the best time staying at the OG. We didn’t leave the whole weekend and kids loved exploring the property, making teepees, hot tubbing and making snores by the fire. The beds were comfy and we loved our trip so much. Thank you for another wonderful time at your home!

Myself and some of my girlfriends have rented from Emily and Seth many times we always have a great experience. They are easy to reach to have questions answered! And it’s a very comfortable clean place to stay.!

Such a beautiful location & great views from every room. The beds were so comfortable & the kitchen was well appointed! Shower had terrific water pressure & plenty of hot water.

Beautiful, spacious cabin in a secluded area of Hocking Hills. Close to restaurants, trails, and activities. We loved the breathtaking views while relaxing in the hot tub. It was a perfect weekend oasis!

What a cool property! Checkin was seamless. There were 6 adults for hiking. The container was compact but fine for a few nights. There were some minor items but overall we enjoyed our stay.

We needed a break, and the OG delivered. The property was warm and inviting, and we felt comfortable from the moment we opened the door. The views were spectacular, and the furniture was comfortable. We are visiting all of the counties in the state of Ohio over an extended period of time, and were able to knock six counties off of our list all within a reasonable driving distance. And then of course there's the park which was so accessible. Thank you for having such a wonderful insight to such a unique venue and providing a memorable experience. We will be back this winter for my 73rd birthday.

Our stay included the occasional sitings of deer, turkey, hawks and songbirds. Just magical.

This was our second stay at a Box Hop property and it was amazing! We're already looking into booking another one of their properties. We highly recommend the OG for a Hocking Hills getaway.

Everything was perfect! Such a unique experience. Extremely peaceful and serene. Waking up to the views was perfect. We are definitely going to book again. The only 2 cons were arriving at night, it was so dark we could barely see the steep drive and turns and there are no curtains in the place so if you have anxiety, it could be a trigger. It was for me. Otherwise everything was perfect!

Everything was great except we lost one night of using the hot tub because we could not get ahold of anyone when we contacted to say it was not heating. It wasn't a big deal but it was misfortunate. It is a great house in a fantastic setting and we really enjoyed it. Somehow the shower had unlimited hot water! It came in handy after a cold days hike.

Loved how cozy the spot was. It was very enjoyable to look at the fireplace and chill watching football all day/evening. Our only critiques were sizes of the bed and the stairs. However, we understand why. Overall, we loved our stay and look to book another one in the future!

This house is absolutely stunning. Customer service was awesome. There were a few issues we experienced. The entire time we stayed, the kitchen smelled like gas. It was incredibly concerning. My hair stylist even commented on it (we were there to get married). The bedroom door (upstairs right) doesn’t latch shut, which really sucked for privacy purposes. The main issue though was the cleanliness. The house had not been dusted, wiped down, cleaned properly in some time. It was obvious. Every surface was covered in dust and crumbs except the kitchen counter. However, the fridge had bits of food and smelled like food. The utensil drawers had some sort of sauce spilled on them, there was hair and dust all over the fire place and the table next to the chair in the living room with the brochures on it had literal food crumbs and dust all over everything. It was very disappointing to see when you can tell how much thought was put into the details of this house. Truly stunning. I would just hire a new cleaning crew.

We came here for a few nights for our mini-moon! It was the perfect place to completely relax. The home itself is very quiet and surrounded by beautiful woods. It's less than 10 mins to popular hikes. The decor is beautiful and we had everything we needed to cook/grill. We especially loved the firewood available!! We had one tiny issue with the hot tub which the team resolved quickly & in full. We highly recommend The Box Hop!!

Everything was wonderful at the OG. We had everything we needed for a great weekend. Made a nice dinner on Friday night, good coffee in the morning. Enjoyed the hot tub after our hikes and slept well in comfortable beds. We will love to come back.

Fantastic weekend! The house was perfect. We had zero issues and the house was beautiful. We are already planning our next trip!
