Stayed Jan 16, 2026We love and appreciate the workmanship and coziness of this cabin. The fire pit was a little far away for January weather, especially when the wind started to blow. There are a lot of areas it could be tucked into.

Stayed Dec 27, 2025We loved Shadyside. It’s private feeling and was a perfect size for my husband and 2 boys ages 9 and 7. We loved the hot tub, deer running in the backyard, the cabin was clean and secluded and we felt safe. They had a Christmas tree set up for us since it was December 27 and the cabin felt like a winter getaway. Wonderful hiking in the area and great family time at Shadyside.
