Beautiful cabin and the host was awesome when I reached out about a few concerns. She even gave me a few local spots to check out with my family. The reason I gave less than 5 stars on cleanliness : it looked like no one had stayed in the cabin for a few weeks so all toilets, counters, and tubs needed to be wiped off and the hot tub was in need of a cleaning. Again, the host was awesome and sent someone out the next morning. When returned to our cabin after spending the day on Douglas Lake and the hot tub was super clean! Sadly we were all slightly sunburn from being out on the lake all day and couldn't use it. We only stayed 2 days so we never got the chance to soak it and that was a huge reason as to why we selected this cabin. We'd stay here again but I'd make sure to ask housekeeping to check it over before our arrival!

Overall, the property was great for what we needed. For as large as the cleaning fee is, the floors were visibly dirty and there were cob webs in several places. The hot tub didn’t look entirely clean and the grill caught on fire as soon as we tried to light it… (the host did say she would let the owner know it needs replaced) and the paint on the upper deck is peeling and will coat the bottoms of your feet/shoes in flakes. The kitchen has been updated since the photos so that was nice! There was a toaster, plenty of pots/pans/utensils. Also a broom and dust pan-thankfully. My one suggestion to renters is to either bring your own coffee maker or instant coffee! The coffee maker provided does NOT work no matter how hard we tried. It’s very old, leaks all over the counter and fills the pot with grounds. The pool was supposed to be open Memorial Day but the woman at the clubhouse said that the weather had been too cold and rainy so it wasn’t safe to open yet. But she was very sweet and called me right back when the call dropped. Pros: The beds were very comfortable, the furniture was great and the view was amazing!!! The drive to the location is also really nice and there is shopping close by.

The cabin was absolutely beautiful. Everything was very clean, new and modern. We used the hot tub every day and loved it. The view from the deck is amazing. I did walk down to the lake which only took me six minutes. However, the walk back was all up built and a little bit harder. The TV did not have a remote control which you meant that you had to pull the TV away from the wall to turn it off and on or to change the input so you could watch movies or satellite TV. As stated in the listing, there is no available Wi-Fi there. This was a minor negative. They also do not supply any type of beach chairs, or outside chairs at all. there was also no cleaning supplies provided. We had to go to a local store to purchase spray cleaner, a broom, and basic things that we would need for a week.

Cabin was clean and nice. View was amazing. I didn’t mind no WiFi, but I did have a slight issue with the satellite package. No sports channels was kind of a drag. Otherwise it was great. Just a little farther from the “action” than I thought, but not bad at all. Definitely recommend

It was a cute place. The two bathrooms were very nice. Relaxing on the porch and the view from the back porch was spectacular! It was a little further away from Pigeon Forge than what I expected. I inquired about early check in and was told I would be given an answer in a day or two but never heard back. Overall it was a good experience.

We went on a family vacation to the Sevierville/Gatlinburg area. Douglas resort was quite and away from the tourist craziness. It was nice to come back and relax after exploring the area. The cabin had nice views and was the perfect size for our family of four. Our guest contact was available to answer our questions when we had issues and gave us a prompt answer. We enjoyed our stay.
