Serene River Cabin; Nature Lovers, Wake Up To Calming Sights And Sounds!

Beautiful property. Had lots of fun with our the young kids. River was not too deep for them to swim and we caught a dozen fish over three days. You do have to be aware of the dam releases though as the river is not safe for anyone other than experienced kayakers at that time. The property is quiet but very close to town where we enjoyed a couple of restaurants, Caddo mounds and Dino dig for the kids. House was large and nice, little amenities like laundry detergent and coffee really added a nice touch. Light switches were labeled which was awesome lol. Excellent hot tub during cooler months was great for after the river.

Awesome property and wonderful host. They put up a Christmas tree when we asked for one and the place was very welcoming. We loved it.

We loved the cabin. We really enjoyed being near the river. We watched deer drink and a bald eagle fly above the river. It was a perfect home base for six friends to relax, fish, diamond hunt, play games, hang out in the hot tub and cook meals. The cabin had everything we needed including some spices, cooking oil, salt and pepper, etc. We all talked about coming back and enjoying another long weekend next year.

Absolutely fabulous place to stay! We ended up cancelling other activities just to stay in this tranquil, peaceful environment. The gates at the dam opened nightly, turning the river into the most peaceful water feature we've ever experienced. We saw deer, river otters, turtles, and a large variety of birds including a juvenile bald eagle. A very private and comfortable stay. And the hosts thought of everything a guest may need. If a higher rating was offered by VRBO, we certainly would have chosen it. 100% recommend!!

Everything was perfect for our joint family vacation! Everything was thought of. Games, laundry detergent, trash bags, first aid kit, s'mores sticks, water toys, bug spray..even food for the cat! It was a perfect drive to town for necessities, shopping and to the Diamond Mines for our fun! One of the cleanest places we've stayed at! We can't wait to come back!

Very relaxing, comfortable lodge. It was well supplied. We could have stayed longer. Would stay again for sure. Loved seeing the wildlife. Neighboring town was nice. Highly recommend Teligna's and Feed Bin for food! River is a sweet cat, but a little obnoxious if not fed. We picked up some food and he was a happy kitty.

Great couples trip

We stayed for a week and enjoyed the river, hot tub, and local quartz mine. It was relaxing, quiet, peaceful, and perfect. The house was well stocked, the beds were comfortable, the internet was connection was surprisingly good, and the grill and fire pit made for fantastic dinners. One of the highlights was the hot tub at night under the stars with the its colorful lights. It was a blast! Our youngest also enjoyed fishing catching many little fish. We are a family of 5 with children ages 11-17. We highly recommend renting this house.

We loved the location and amenities of this beautiful cabin. The river was perfect for wading with easy access to the water. Zero complaints and the hosts were responsive and amazing! Thank you for having us!

The house was perfect for our stay!! Lots of space, everything you need in the kitchen, plenty of outdoor seating, and easy access to the river. Not to mention, everything is beautiful and homey. We had a very relaxing time! Will definitely recommend to friends and family.

Our stay at River Hollow was amazing! We thoroughly enjoyed sitting around the fire pit making Smores, even at the end of June. The breeze that comes off of the river makes it possible to sit outside and enjoy nature. The house is big enough for everyone to have their own room with each bedroom having it's own on-suite. We would definitely stay here again if in the area. Just a side note: If you want to experience some beautiful scenery, Little Missouri Falls is a must see. It is about a 45 minute drive from this home.

My wife, inlaws and kids stayed here over the last week. It was completely secluded and felt as if we had the river to ourselves. The only sound we heard all weekend was the river running by. It was amazing. We needed some relaxing time and found this place to privide just that. The only people we even saw on the river were a half a mile away but based on the curve in the river you had to go out to the middle to even see them. It felt like we had the river completely to ourselves. The home itself also was great with the large couches and dining area. Each room had its own bathroom which was really great as well. I would definitely recommend this home to anyone seeking a relaxing retreat. We were also very suprised with just how cute Murfreesboro was. There were a lot of activities for kids and adults to do there. Also the river access was very easy with a great bank for lounging and the river is very shallow the first 10 feet or so which is nice for popping out a chair and sitting in the water. The hosts were very reaponsive providing access 2 hours ahead of checkin time and answer any questions we had in a timely manner.

We were pleasantly surprised at the wonderful access to the river. The home was well appointed. Wonderful spot for a relaxing family vacation…reading, lounging in the river, sitting in the shade on the river’s edge, and listening to birds.

Beautiful property surrounded by trees right on the river. Great getaway to recharge, enjoy nature and enjoy time with family. We took our three young children and both sides of grandparents.

I can’t say enough positive things about this property. The house was clean and well stocked. River access and fishing was better than any location I’ve stayed at on this river. The host was quick to respond with any questions or concerns we had prior to and during the trip. Everything far exceeded our expectations. If you are considering a trip to Murfreesboro, do yourself a favor and book this property

Great cabin, great location! Our only gripes were well outside the control of the owners and all weather related. This is was a great place to unwind and relax. The cat outside turned out to be a pleasant bonus as we spent quite a bit of time on the porch during the rain. Extra cuddles are always great!
