Serene Retreat |Hot Tub, Fire Pit & Prime Location

This cabin was perfect for our family vacation!! Excellent location right between Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg. The host Nancy was great to work with. Cabin was spotless and had plenty of space for our family of six! I would stay here again and recommend this cabin 100%

Kitchen had everything we needed for the stay. Hot tub was great extremely warmed. Only thing we couldn’t get working was the fireplace.

We stayed for three nights with our three kids aged 3-8. The cabin was wonderful. It was very clean upon arrival and exactly as the photos portrayed. The kids enjoyed their room with the two twin nooks. We didn't attempt to park down by the cabin, as the driveway is steep and since our vehicle is front wheel drive, we didn't want to risk trying to get out with the top being gravel. We were perfectly fine parking at the top of the driveway! The cabin was fully equipped. The only thing I wish I would have brought was a small stool for the kids to wash hands and brush teeth with, but we managed just fine! I honestly didn't even look around for one, so there might be one tucked away. Overall, we had a wonderful experience. The cabin was beautiful and secluded, the host was so kind and quick to respond.

We enjoyed the cabin it was beautiful. They had it decorated for Christmas. I would suggest when driving up to the cabin the very first time go when it is daylight. We drove at night and not knowing the roads was very scary. Other than that beautiful. We all loved the games upstairs. Thank you again.

This lovely cabin is so warm and inviting. Close enough to all the attractions but far enough on the hill to enjoy the tranquil peace. Our family truly enjoyed ourselves- from the multutude of games there to the grull and just the smell of the woods - fresh air. Oh, 2 jacuzzi tubs and a hot tub - where can you go wrong with that? The host was very accommodating and quick to reply to every question or need. Definitelty will be coming back again and again. I do not recommend driving a van though - definitely drive something with 4 wheel drive. Lol

Host was very responsive and provided clear communication. Cabin was just as described, well maintained and clean. Kitchen was well stocked with basic spices and appliances/cookware. Loved that cabin was decorated for Christmas! It is an exciting/winding drive to the cabin, which was noted in details provided by the host. No issues for our small SUV though. We’d come back again!

Beautiful cabin

We loved our stay! Everything was so nice and very clean.

The cabin was perfect. Master suites on each floor was a huge bonus and the kids loved the loft game room. The cabin was cozy, clean and the fully stocked kitchen was perfect for our needs. My favorite feature was the screened in porch with sofas, dining area and a TV, and the hot tub was private and relaxing. The kids enjoyed making s'mores at the fire pit. This property was perfect and I would highly recommend. Communication was great. Overall an excellent experience.

This cabin was everything we wanted and more. We had a couple last minute changes and the host was super helpful and very responsive to communications. I cannot recommend the property enough! My only complaint is that we didn’t see any bears…but you can’t control Mother Nature!

We absolutely loved our stay at this cabin. It was lovely and well maintained. It was well stocked and cozy. Plenty of outdoor spaces for lounging. Beautiful home.

It was a lovely mountain cabin.

This cabin and host were perfect! Clean, cozy, and quiet! The listing is spot on and the host, Nancy, was extremely responsive. We had everything we needed, minus a quick trip to the grocery. Be sure to have a reliable vehicle as the roads are steep, but well worth the drive! Loved our stay!

We had an amazing stay. The only thing to say is I wish we would have stayed longer.Nancy was easy to communicate with and she made sure we had all the information we needed before we arrived. The cabin is even better than the pictures, kids loved the air hockey and the fire pit for smores and my husband saw a bear. We will definitely be back!

We had a wonderful trip. The place was extremely clean and very beautiful location. We loved sitting on the back porch in the morning and evening. Be very aware of bears! My husband was taking a bag of trash to put in the car so we could drive it up the hill to the trash bins as we were checking out. He turned to look over his shoulder and a bear was right there. The bear was not afraid of us at all. He charged at my husband and I had to throw a water bottle down the hill which bought us enough time to get in the car and lock the doors. The bears are very active at dawn and dusk. Don’t let your guard down anywhere. Nancy was extremely responsive and was a wonderful host. You will have the best issue no matter where you go around there.

The Cabin was perfect! Very clean and perfect location to the national park and to downtown Gatlinburg! Check in process was seamless and communication during the stay was available if needed… not one complaint! Can’t wait to come back!

My husband and I enjoyed a weekend stay for our 10 year wedding anniversary recently at Aunt Lib's and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Property exceeded expectactions!

Great cabin , clean and close to attractions

First of all, I do want to say that the drive to the cabin is very, very steep and has a narrow road. Other than the drive up the cabin was extraordinary and very well kept. The balcony up top is a great place to sit and have your coffee and just listen to the wildlife. Our first night there we did see 6 bear near the cabin so if you want to see wildlife I think you’ll see it here. We really enjoyed our stay!

What a GORGEOUS cabin especially in the Fall! I enjoyed my morning coffee in a different spot each morning (I was obsessed with the pretty mugs). The views were just beautiful and the neighborhood was so peaceful. All of the decorative details were perfect. The kitchen had everything we needed. Thank you Nancy for being a gracious and responsive host and for sharing this lovely cabin!!

Love the winding roads, crisp mornings, falling leaves. The cabin is brand new has ALL and more comforts of HOME! Great patios for bear stories and memories to be made.

The cabin was perfect. We enjoyed our stay. The location was nice and quit. Very very clean. And the outside fire pit was nice and the outdoor swing was great for the kids.

We had a wonderful 25th anniversary stay at Aunt Lib’s Shine Shack! More room than we needed for 2, for sure, but we used and enjoyed it all! Home away from home. We enjoyed the breeze in the enclosed sunroom and the post-hke soaks in the hot tub! My husband enjoyed trying to make high scores on the game table while I grabbed a great read from Nancy’s book selection. We saw 7 bear during our stay and got many wonderful steps in on nearby trails… and ate and drank well along the way! We will be back!!! Highly recommend!!! Thanks Nancy :-)
