Great communication with the host! The cabin was lovely, and was as described and as pictured on the site. We were to stay eight nights, but because of weather coming into our hometown, and possibility of ice where the cabin was situated, we needed to leave early so that we could get safely home. Thank you so much! We wish we could have stayed the full stay!

While we did enjoy our stay, the word lux in the listing really does not apply. I would say cozy or rustic, but using that word that’s a different expectation and the bar too high. There are definitely signs of wear and tear around like some cracks in downstairs tub, peeling paint, etc. Of course, this does not really impact anything other than aesthetics. There was one serious issue that is supposed to be addressed after our stay, which is the heavy top of the kitchen island not being attached and sliding around, presenting a safety concern. There were cleaning things that could be improved, like making sure the extra throw blankets are washed, water around bath tub upon arrival, cobwebs, etc. I did share most of these with property management, and they were going to make sure that cleaners spent more time and attention on these areas. My children loved this cabin, and we did appreciate the lower level sort of being a separate, fun area that they could all their own. The full sized bunks were surprisingly comfortable, and my husband and I preferred staying in the bunks with our kids over the Queen room downstairs, which could use a new mattress (lumpy). Everyone who stayed in the King bedrooms found their beds very comfortable. They didn’t like the glass cube walls in the showers facing the road. It was definitely easy to see their nude outlines. We laughed it off, but I think it’s a good heads up! We really appreciated communication from management.

Everything was fabulous. The cabin pictures were accurate to what was there. Everything was clean when we arrived. The kitchen was fully stocked and allowed us to cook easily during our stay. The beds were comfortable. Our kids enjoyed the pool table/ arcade games in the basement. The hot tub worked well and was very clean.

Overall the property and location is beautiful. We enjoyed our stay but there were definitely some disappointments specifically around listing description and communication. When we booked this listing, I communicated that my group of 12 would all be on our motorcycles and we would have a vehicle with a trailer. The host / property manager did not mention that the driveway would ONLY fit 2 vehicles and that there is absolutely nowhere to park nearby. In addition, the property itself is on an incredibly steep hill with no place to turn around. Not a problem for most but again this kind of information in the description or communicated to us when we booked and shared our plans would have been greatly appreciated. The messaging and instructions we received on certain topics was also contradictory in some instances to the printed instructions in the cabin, so it made it confusing. The property manager also made it clear that the house should be made spotless. Our group was very worried about returning blankets, remotes, furniture etc to the exact spot so as to not incur a fee. Finally, the house itself is listed as a 12 person accommodation but thats really not accurate. Maybe with children that would have been okay. For a group of adults it was too cramped (not enough beds unless everyone shared the sleeper and twin beds as well) and the house itself is very loud (creeking stairs, no sound proofing between the floors, etc). It is a lovely place and we enjoyed the ability to coo

My wife and I really enjoyed this cabin. It’s on a dead end street and very private. We usually dont use the hot tubs but this was too inviting and we used it everyday. Another plus is there is a lot of thought to detail like blankets in the living areas and kitchen tools. Finally, while we didn't need Justin, he definitely was very responsive in the booking process and gave me the sense he would be quick to help on any issues.

Our family thoroughly enjoyed this cabin. With its 3 beautiful porches there is serenity for everyone. It was so cool to be relaxing in the hot tub and have a huge black bear come walking right by. It was an extremely rainy week with a hurricane coming thru, but we never got bored with the awesome game room. Our host was incredible with any issues that arose. We're counting down the days until we can come back to this awesome cabin. Larry from Georgia

This cabin is very nice, we checked in to find a broken sink drain, but since the drain still worked, it didn't really affect us much. Later we would find a toilet that just kept running. It would be helpful if the listing mentioned that the driveway only holds two cars comfortably, and if you have 3 fullsize trucks, it's going to be a problem.

Good location - we were there for the smoky mountains so about a 20-30 minute drive to hikes we were wanting. Good space but it does have wood floors and is squeaky and loud from room to room so if one of us was awake we all were cut it was fine. Floors were a little dirty and there were cobwebs on light fixtures and dust on spaces but it was fine.
