Sequoia River Cabin ~ Romantic Rustic Retreat on Kaweah River ~ Close to Sequoia

This property was decorated beautifully and had high end features and appliances. There were also dozens of thoughtful touches that made the whole experience luxurious. We found a bottle of wine waiting for us, chocolates by the bed, a basket of toiletries in case something had been forgotten, and a very well stocked kitchen. The linens were high quality and the towels were plush. And the outdoor area was set up to enjoy outdoor dining or just relaxing beside the river. We loved being able to pick up a steak and some potatoes at the market down the street and grilling them at the cabin. We’ve rented many houses in our travels, but none have ever been as well set up or nice as this one!

This was the most amazing cabinet ever stayed in. Everything was extremely clean, the hosts provided everything you could imagine, I felt like I was at home.

Absolutely adorable little cabin, very private and perfectly provisioned with everything one needs for a relaxing time - even a Crockpot so you can have a hot dinner waiting when you get back from visiting the Sequoias.

This cabin exceeded my expectations. It is beautiful inside and out. It's a lovely, private and quiet location. Great for couples looking to get away from it all for a little while!

Our trip to the Sequoia Cabin in Three Rivers was fabulous from beginning to end. My husband and I never wanted to leave. Richard and Jeanie are the best hosts: friendly & prompt communication, thoughtful amenities inside & out of the cabin, attention to detail in decor. They even provided a personal welcome note and a bottle of wine, which was most appreciated after a long day flying cross country. The kitchen was so well stocked. We enjoy cooking & grilling so having a beautiful spacious kitchen and lovely outdoor dining space was our dream of California living. Sequoia NP entrance is only a few miles away and one of our primary reasons for staying in the Three Rivers area. Stunning place. We also visited Kings Canyon NP. Shout out to Three Rivers Brewing and Reimer’s Chocolate store, which are both close by the cabin and well worth visiting. We loved, loved, loved this beautiful cabin and enjoyed our stay so much!

We had an amazing time. We had just missed a winter storm so most of the forest was closed. Which was disappointing but we made the most of it and had a nice time. The rental was amazing. Would def rent again.

The cabin was amazing. Richard and Jeanie thought of everything a guest could possibly want and need. From the comfortable bed and linens to the paper and kindling already set to go in the fire pit, to the gorgeous well well-stocked kitchen, everything was perfect. The cabin is modern, but has a very cozy vibe. Having the hot tub on the porch was an added bonus. Of course, the river in the back of the property was sublime. The only negative was the noise from the highway. You can hear it in the house and while out by the river during heavy traffic times. I came to the area for solitude and self-care and was able to achieve both of those things in the beautiful Sequoia River Cabin.

Everything was excellent, house, river, surroundings, once all the switches were identified we were in awe of the experience. The house was clean and well stocked, furewood was provided. Just a great place to get away to.

This was such a perfect cabin for my husband and I. The location was perfect to visit Sequoia National Park. And being right on the river was so fun. We saw deer walking right through the back yard. The amount of extras at this location was amazing. They had a regular coffee maker and a nespresso both stocked with coffee and pods, there was snacks, robes, slippers, and high quality kitchen utensils. The bed was insanely comfortable and the host was very responsive. The hot was amazing after a long day of hiking. Check in and out was a breeze. I would stay here again in a second.

Everything was better than advertised. The personal care items were high quality, the spa was fantastic and the place was very charming and clean. If you’d stay there I don’t see how you could be disappointed. Definitely a 10. The deer along the river were an added bonus.

Lovely little cabin on the river. It is the most high-tech rustic cabin we have stayed in and has lots of spices etc in the kitchen, which is well equipped. Richard and Jeannie are awesome hosts and we had a lovely time. Note that it is on the road to Sequoia so there is some road noise, but we did not find it too bad even in August.

This was the most amazing magical little cabin!! My husband and I stayed for my 50th bday and to visit Sequoia National Park. The hosts are so accommodating and spare no expense for the comfort of their guests. It’s immaculately clean, organized, and has everything you need and more. The linens on the bed and towels are amazing. The bed is ridiculously comfortable, and I haven’t even touched on the spectacular outdoor amenities. There is a beach on the river, hot tub, and fire pit just out your back door!! It’s just the perfect little place. We can’t wait to visit again!!

This is by far the most amazing VRBO rental my husband & I have ever stayed at. I would give this property a 10 star review if I could-well I guess I just did! Jeanie & Richard have thought of literally everything you could possibly need while staying at their property and it is truly breathtaking! Their communication is outstanding as well as the decor, furnishings, amenities, setting, cleanliness, etc etc. The location is perfect for hanging out in town visiting shops and enjoying food/beverages and is also a short drive to the Sequoia park entrance. Thank you for sharing your gorgeous home with us, we celebrated our 10 year wedding anniversary on the 1st. Your cabin brought us so much peace and serenity that was definitely needed. Mother nature definitely put on a great show for us, we absolutely enjoyed watching the hummingbirds dance around us on the deck, all the birds playing in the river but our absolute favorite piece of your property is listening to the beautiful river and watching the shooting stars that made this trip so magical. Thank you for the wine, fantastic hospitality and all the beautiful memories.

My husband and I enjoyed three days at this wonderful location. Even in late September the river still had enough water running to enjoy soothing sounds, lots of birds and lovely evening cocktails on the deck overlooking it all. The home was so very well appointed, every detail was perfect. We hope to return in the future.

The pictures and description of the cabin do not do it justice. Jeanie and Richard have thought of absolutely everything with so many amenities and little touches throughout. It is missing nothing, and all ghe furnishings and appliances are top notch. The location could not be better. We loved being able to walk to multple restaurants and bars, and being so close to the park entrance was awesome. We came to ride the Harley through the Sequoias. It was magical! One of the best set of rides we've ever done. We loved the cabin so much and were very sad to leave.

This cabin was amazing !! They thought of everything you could possibly want or need. We will definitely be back !!!
