Stayed Jan 23, 2026If there were 10 stars, I would give 10 stars. Five stars is not enough to show how amazing Matthew was as a host. Seriously above and beyond!! The property is absolutely beautiful and if you have big groups of people, there’s a lot of space, amazing for entertaining, and you will find every type of kitchen tool you can think of. I couldn’t recommend staying here more!! Extremely thankful.

Stayed Jan 2, 2026We had such a wonderful visit at Selah Vie Lodge! The home was so comfortable- all the beds were fantastic and the huge snuggle couch in the living room made our trip! Soaking up the views and afternoon sunshine from the giant, gorgeous windows was so lovely! There was plenty of room for everyone to have their own space and to be together in the main areas too. The property was perfect for us to wander and fish and explore the creek. The dogs were not happy to go home... We all had a wonderful weekend and look forward to our next visit.

Stayed Dec 4, 2025Very nice holiday weekend! Host was very responsive. This house fit our needs. Master on main, hot tub off main level, fireplace for outdoor fires but a nice indoor fireplace also. In addition the house being on acreage was a plus. It’s private without going on miles of dirt road. The ponds and hiking trails were also great!

Stayed Oct 6, 2025We had a wonderful week at this breathtaking cabin. Our family does a week cabin trip every year to disconnect from the world and spend quality time together. There are not many cabins that have it all, but this one definitely does. Night stargazing from the back porch, hot tub, Fishing, hiking, pool, camp fire. It's close enough to food and shopping but also far enough you can have a quiet getaway. The nearby cities are fun. Good food, entertainment and shopping. We loved the apple orchard. The hosts were very welcoming. They even put up a few decorations for my daughter's birthday and husbands retirement. We look forward to booking this cabin again.

Stayed Nov 14, 2025Our Girl Scout troop LOVED staying here for our cabin camping trip!! It fit all the girls and the mamas perfectly with all the rooms to choose from; the porch was excellent for our outdoor art activities, the girls enjoyed hiking down to the ponds and fishing (so fun!!) and Matt, the host, even helped us plan and do a service project to earn our final badge of the weekend. If you are looking at blue ridge for a group, don’t hesitate, BOOK THIS PLACE!

Stayed Oct 19, 2025This property was very spacious, beautiful, secluded and comfortable. The location was perfect - easy to access and close to numerous outdoor activities. The hosts provided everything we could possibly need. And not just the basics but many extras like enough throws for everyone around the indoor fireplace, seating and firewood for the outdoor fire pit and fishing gear for the trout pond. Meals were so easy, even with 13 people to feed. I don't think the hot tub was empty more than a few minutes during our entire stay. Would highly recommend this rental.

Stayed Sep 12, 2025I'm so glad we had the opportunity to stay st Selah Vie. We stayed at this cabin for a girls trip before my daughters wedding next month. It was everything we could have hoped for. Kitchen: Well stocked with small appliances, dishes, cups/mugs, utensils, pots & pans, and a full size coffee pot (essential!) Living room: So comfortable in front of a beautiful stacked stone fireplace. Plenty of seating for everyone with beautiful views out huge windows. And comfy blankets galore!! There's also easy access to the deck with hammocks and a (very clean) hot tub. I loved stargazing from the hammock! Bedrooms: All were so comfortable! Bedding and pillows were top notch! The bonus balcony was perfect for quiet mornings. The shower & Jacuzzi in the Master were AMAZING!! Game room: offered all types of entertainment. Pool table, foosball, pacman and so much more. Outdoors: may have been my favorite because I love hiking and fishing. The owner has put so much work into creating and maintaining hiking trails as well as the pond. We had so much room for the 8 of us. I wish I could have stayed longer. Thank you so much for allowing us to stay here!

Stayed Aug 29, 2025We had an awesome time in Blue Ridge staying at this cabin. The cabin was very clean, great private location, with plenty of amenities, and within driving distance of several fun adventures. Contact with the host was great. He genuinely cared about our experience, offering up tips and tricks, and was very accomodating to ensure we had the best stay. Our group had a blast!

Stayed Feb 28, 2025This was by far one of our most favorite cabin we've stayed in. We've been to Ellijay, Blue Ridge, Gatlinburg and this house was more than accomodating. We barely left. Everything we needed was there. The pond in the back. The trails. The pool table. The huge porch. 5 out of 5 for sure. Loved this house. They were even super sweet and left a Happy Birthday banner on the fire place for my son and a birthday card. Some tokens like that - make a world a difference. We will def. be booking again in the future. Thank y'all so much!!

Stayed May 11, 2025As you drive up the long gravel driveway, you can feel any stress leaving your body. Surrounded by trees and nature, you know immediately that this property is special! Walking into the pristinely clean cabin you are greeted by a beautiful wood island and nice kitchen. Rounding the corner you see a floor to cathedral ceiling wall of windows. Breathtaking! The Master on main boasts a super comfy king bed, and the ensuite bathroom has a gorgeous jetted soaking tub, large tiled rain shower and dual vanities. I was in heaven! The large composite deck is beautiful! Hot tub is cleaned after each guest, and you can tell! It was set to the prefect temperature for a daily soak. The view is gorgeous! It rained almost everyday, but did stop for a few hours so we could enjoy the walk along the perfectly marked trails to the lake and creek. I am not a fisher, but I did enjoy feeding the large fish (trout I believe) a few times! They jumped out of the water like dolphins! It was so cool! Spending time by the creek was a highlight. There was a little flat offshoot off the trail where I could set up a chair and enjoy the sounds of the creek for hours. The property is truly breathtaking! Some trails provide a moderate hike, and some are a little easier. The yellow trail marks the property line all around and is a mostly easy to moderate hike. You can tell the owners take pride in keeping the trails updated. While it was just me and my dog this trip, the cabin can comfortably sleep up to 16 guests! 5 bedrooms, one being a bunk room will provide a party of larger families the perfect amount of room. I can not recommended this cabin and property highly enough! I would give 100 stars if I could! I hope you are able to enjoy this cabin as much as I did! I would not hesitate to book again!

Stayed Apr 11, 2025We booked Matt’s place for our family’s annual get together for four families. The ages ranged from four to seventeen for the grandchildren plus their parents and us, and every single person had a great time!! Matt is an amazing host and provided excellent communication from check-in to checkout. He also provided an extensive list of things to do and visit in and around the area based on our interests and provided everything we needed during our stay! The property is a little slice of heaven, the views are great, the walking trails are enjoyable, the creek is peaceful and relaxing, and the ponds were the biggest hit for everyone. Matt gave a detailed map of his walking trails and my grandkids loved exploring the marked trails to see where they all went. Two of my grandchildren caught their very first fish and the others caught their very first trout. Most averaged about 16-18. The grandkids are already asking when we can go back! The home itself did not disappoint! The beds were comfortable, the house was very clean, the kitchen had everything we needed for to prepare our meals and there was plenty of room for all of us. We will definitely be back!
