Secluded Wood Cabin-Amazing Mtn Views, Hot Tub, WiFi

What a Fantastic stay we had at David's Cabin Home! I can not express to you how incredible this location and cabin are. The views are Spectacular and amenities are more than we could have asked for. The owner David was very responsive to our needs. One week is not nearly enough. Thank you for allowing us to stay in your little slice of Heaven!

Absolutely breathtaking views of the mountains. House was located in the perfect spot, just a short drive to Lake Lure, Chimney Rock State Park and Hendersonville.

We had a great stay at this cabin. The house was very clean and well maintained, which made it comfortable from the moment we arrived. The host was friendly, responsive. The hot tub was a perfect way to relax after a long day walking the mountains and visiting near by waterfalls. The kitchen had everything we needed. Overall, a great experience and we would definitely stay again.

This was a great place to stay. Roomy, fully equipped kitchen, clean, great view. Probably one of the best places we have stayed with VRBO.

Cozy cabin with a great fireplace. We enjoyed getting away and loved the solitude. Kitchen was well stocked with dishes and cookware.

The view was amazing! The house was very nice! I just wish the basement was heated, it was a bit chilly! Couldn't find a thermostat down there. Even upstairs was set to 70 or 72 and still felt cold. Other than that we had a great time with family. We loved the pool table and dart board. Thank you!

The host answered all the questions quickly and was very helpful. The check in and out instructions were clear and easy. Great cabin, we had an amazing time!!

Cabin was nice and quiet. Views were beautiful. Host responded within the hour to our hot tub questions. Could have used blankets. There was no dish soap but had dishwasher. Also short on toilet paper.

This cabin had spectacular views with a very large screened in porch. The fireplace was a great amenity with an abundance of fire wood provided. We also enjoyed spending time in the hot tub. We have already booked a stay for next year.

The view was wonderful and the area was peaceful and serene.

I loved the seclusion of the cabin, plenty of space. The only suggestion I would make to the owners would be to update the grill and some of the porch railings as they are showing age.

Beautiful cabin with stunning views.

The house was very clean when we arrived. It was nice to have a full kitchen, all the basics were provided. The location was easy to get back into Asheville with a short drive, and the views off the back porch are worth every penny paid to rent this cabin.

Our family had a wonderful stay at this cabin! The location was perfect - very easy to find and private. We enjoyed the hot tub, fire pit, the hummingbirds and fire flies. Downtown Hendersonville is about 12 miles away - takes about 25 minutes. The view is beautiful- especially the sunrise! The host was very responsive and prompt when contacted. We would definitely recommend this cabin!

We enjoyed our stay. The views from the cabin are breathtaking and expansive! Only 4 scoops of Folgers left, but luckily my wife is the only coffee drinker in the family. Inside of cabin was clean. Outside could have used a wipe down of the tables. All in all we recommend booking this place if you love mountains, quiet and panoramic views! Our host was also very responsive and helpful!

Where do we start!? We traveled from Wisconsin with our pup for a week stay and it exceeded all of our expectations. The drive to the cabin takes you through farm lands ( lots of apple orchards and produce stands) and then up into the mountains. Be prepared to go up a steep road! This should be expected given the location. Once you get to the cabin, there’s a large loop driveway. There is no service, but there is Wi-Fi in the cabin. Check in is extremely easy. David, the host, is very responsive and even let us check in a day early!! The cabin has a wrap around porch, screened in the back portion. The view from the back of the cabin is top tier! We loved enjoying a fire every night and spent every morning watching the sunrise! There is a pool table downstairs which was super fun to play all week. The house was stocked with the basics and the bed was comfortable. Highly recommend this cabin as we are already planning another trip!

My family enjoyed our stay here. I wanted to give 5 stars but I don’t think the bed comforters were freshly laundered. They had a used/outdoor odor. It didn’t smell clean. Also when we put the used linens in the laundry room I noticed some of the mattress covers are soiled - they need a deep cleaning. I don’t know if it’s bc of the type of detergent used. When I asked the property manager where the laundry detergent was- bc part of the check out is to wash your used towels- I never got a response. Otherwise the house was clean and we enjoyed our stay. I’m just very big on bedding & clean linens when I’m on vacation.

Loved everything about this cabin: private location, stunning views, separate floor for teens/ games, all amenities we needed to cook dinners and feel comfortable. Spent one day at Biltmore Inn for falconry, and another day at DuPont National Forest to hike High Falls and Hooker Falls with our bulldogs. Saw wild turkeys and heard coyotes at night. We’ll be back for sure!

The spot was easy to find and everything was clean. I really enjoyed all the amenities of the spot and the neighborhood was nice and quiet. Kitchen is fully stocked with equipment and spices. Communication was also easy, overall a great experience.

This was a great VRBO rental just as described. The host ensured an easy check in, the kitchen was well stocked with cooking supplies, spices, and coffee. There is plenty of seasoned firewood that we used in the outdoor fire pit. The large wrap around porch makes for great relaxing while enjoying the quiet outdoors. The grill, hot tub and appliances all worked well. One suggestion would be to add a ground cover like mulch around the firepit as the ground was pretty soft dirt in the back yard.

The house was beautiful and very clean! The views are amazing. Everything was just as the pictures showed. The area seemed very isolated and peaceful. It was just what we were looking for to relax and unwind.

This Vrbo property is gorgeous and well stocked. It was cold while we were there so we didn’t get to utilize the amazing screened in porch much, but the rest of the home and amenities still made the stay well worth it.

Property was very nice! We stayed here on the way at tour App State. Our kids loved the hot tub and the dogs enjoyed exploring the property!

Beautiful home, extremely clean.I loved enjoying the fireplace in the cozy living room. The hot tub as well as tub in master bedroom provided much needed relaxation. The screened porch however, was my favorite place to be because of the view and the peaceful sounds of nature. Stargazing on a clear night was also breathtaking. Reconnecting with my husband was fun and romantic! One of the best experiences I’ve ever had .

Really enjoyed this cabin for my family of 6. So many comfy places to sit, fun extras like the pool table, clean, comfy beds, and of course the amazing screened in back porch. Highly recommend this rental!

We enjoyed our weekend getaway! It’s a nice cabin, secluded and a great view. You do need a little better lighting in the front (the motion light only stays on for a second), the spa tub in the master needs the jets cleaned, and the drawers in the kitchen were a little dirty, but other than that, everything was nice! Love the hot tub and the back screened porch! Would definitely stay again! Thanks for a great stay! Hope you suffered no damage from the hurricane!

Great property, loved the fire place, pool table and ample room .

We are three older (60+) couples on a waterfall hiking vacation. The morning sunrise views were fantastic. It is well located to get to many places in less than an hour. We hiked DuPont State Forest, Linville Falls, and Chimney Rock. Saw the Biltmore in the middle for a rest. Evenings at the cabin were lovely as we spent most of our time on the screened in porch. We met the neighbors on a walk the last day, very pleasant folks.

We stayed for four nights at this lovely cabin. The views from the screened-in porch were as everybody has promised - gorgeous and expansive. We especially enjoyed the sunrise above the mountains. At night, it felt like you (and the bears) were the only ones on the mountain. The comfortable beds, ample bathrooms, and well-apportioned kitchen made this property one to keep in the “I hope to come back soon” category. The property owner was very responsive to our questions which came in very handy. Loved our trip there!

We visited Hendersonville/Asheville for a college friends reunion trip and this was a great location. About 45 min. drive to head to Asheville for the day but loved being a little outside of the city with gorgeous mountain views. The house was perfect for our group of 5. Kitchen was well stocked for us to cook dinner in. Driveway was a little difficult to locate as we arrived in the dark but we enjoyed the privacy of the location. Screened in porch was a HUGE bonus to not worry about bugs and was very large and spacious for us to all hang out. Hot tub was also an added perk! Overall great stay & trip!

Beautiful cabin with equally beautiful views from screened in back porch! Everything was clean, enough utensils/cups odd and ends in kitchen for our few days. King bed slept well, others were not as comfortable but good enough for a few nights. Make sure trash/bear straps are secured well as some animal visited mid day and we came back to the last visitors trash across yard. And we could see some gnarly claw marks on the cans! Location of house is good to go several directions to explore the NC mountains, we will definitely be back to the cabin if we come to this area again, Thank you!!

Great place to stay

My favorite part of this cabin was the enormous screened in porch with an epic view of the mountains. The hot tub was so relaxing. We grilled steaks and veggie kebobs. We watched a movie on the large downstairs TV. The jacuzzi tub was also very relaxing. The beds and bedrooms were very comfortable. The location was excellent: near Chimney Rock village, Ellaberry Llama farm, and Biltmore, our main objective that was “staggering” and included life-changing meals. An extremely fun Escape Room at Fox and Otter topped it off. We also met Rodney, the hilarious helpful property caretaker, and the owner David was very responsive by text with a question. We are grateful for this unforgettable adventure!

The property is clean and spacious, and perfectly located halfway. Between chimney, rock and Hendersonville We would recommend. This place to couples and large families Staying here.
