Stayed Jan 19, 2026Host always quick to respond. Log home and grounds were clean and welcoming…kitchen well stocked. Wood stove made it extra cozy during my winter stay. As did the hot tub!Pass for private beach access provided different options for recreational interests. My dog and I set out on a couple different adventures during our stay and had the places to ourselves due to being winter. But beautiful sunny day in the mountains is always a good place to explore no matter the season. And having a cozy, 5-stars home to return to made for a comfortable stay. Secluded, plenty of room for my dog to explore and easy drive for going on longer adventures. Responsive, helpful host. Clean and well maintained…the home is loved.

Stayed Aug 29, 2025We stayed at this cabin over Labor Day weekend with a group of friends, and it was the perfect getaway. The property has everything you’d want to enjoy both relaxation and adventure: hammocks, a hot tub, paddle boards, kayaks, and more. It’s an ideal spot to soak in nature during the day and hang out together in the evenings. The cabin itself is thoughtfully laid out and equipped with all the modern amenities, including a well-stocked kitchen that had everything we needed for cooking. It felt both comfortable and convenient without losing its log cabin charm. The surrounding area adds even more to the experience: plenty of amazing hiking trails, and the town of Hoodsport has great unpretentious restaurants with fresh seafood.Overall, this was a wonderful spot to unwind, connect with friends and enjoy the outdoors. Highly recommend!

Stayed Aug 7, 2025The house was well set-up for our gathering. The kitchen and pantry were well-stocked and we thoroughly enjoyed several meals on the property, both inside and outside. Our 23-year-old daughter got a kick out of sleeping in the cute woodland room. The Bear Gulch wildfire did prevent us for doing our planned hikes but we were able to find other fun activities. we were fortunate to enjoy time kayaking in the hood canal and swimming in Lake Cushman.

Stayed Jul 28, 2025We had a really wonderful stay at this cabin! It was spacious, cozy, and had more than enough room for our group of 7 to spread out and enjoy a relaxing getaway. The setting was beautiful and peaceful, and the home was well-equipped with everything we needed.Communication with both the owner and property manager was smooth and responsive, which we really appreciated, especially when we had to make the unexpected decision to leave a couple of days early due to heavy smoke from nearby fires. They were kind and understanding, and we were grateful to receive a refund for the last two nights.A couple of small things to note: we did find a few dirty dishes that hadn’t been cleaned properly, and the hot tub could have used a bit more attention. These were minor issues in an otherwise lovely stay, and didn’t overshadow the great time we had.Thank you for sharing your space with us. We’d definitely love to return in the future!

Stayed Jan 1, 2025I my husband and in-laws stayed 3nights here right after new years. The cabin is secluded on a very wooded lot -very cabin in the woods! But we also had fun taking the 10min drive to hoodsport and exploring the shops/restaurants. Our favorite was a little further away but worth it Hamma Hamma bay oysters.Over all the cabin was well stocked and had lots of extras. The hot tub was a nice way to relax even more:)

Stayed Dec 19, 2024My group of friends had a wonderful time at the cabin. It's very clear this place was a labor of love for the owners and it showed in so many details (decor, amenities, etc). All the beds were comfortable even the kids room fairy tale room had a great mattress plus it was absolutely magical in there. The kitchen was a dream to cook in with everything you're ever going to want for appliances and there's helpful labels on the organization everywhere. The coffee mug game was also unparalleled. We loved the hot tub but most of our time was spent enjoying the cozy vibes of the rain against the sky lights as the old stove fire crackled and playing board games. Hama Hama oysters is about 30 minutes away and definitely worth the stop. There's a ton of fun hikes close as well but we ended up just staying in the cabin enjoying the relaxing atmosphere most of the trip. Will absolutely stay again and would love to see what it's like in summer!

Stayed Nov 25, 2024My family had a fantastic stay over thanksgiving break. The cabin's 4 bedrooms allowed my 3 boys their own bed, plus we took advantage of the outside space and grill. My wife was very pleased that the cabin was fully stocked/ clean, and the local store had everything we needed. I loved the location off Lake Cushman and its close proximity to some great hikes. We had a fire going each day and the boys used the hot tub each night. We had some expected rain, but the area provides many options. When we lived in Peru we were fortunate to take trips into the Andean rain forest. The PNW is new to us, yet the parks we have seen are amazing. I highly recommend the cabin as a gateway into Olympic National Park. We hope to be back.

Stayed Oct 18, 2024We had a great time! It was an absolute downpour the whole weekend but we made the most of it snuggled up in the living room and exploring all the little nooks in the house. Close enough to town to go grab dinner and *HAD we been brave enough we could have launched our canoes at the nearby park access. The covered hot tub was a huge hit for our group.

Stayed Sep 13, 2024Lovely secluded cabin in the woods! We had an amazing time. Cabin was fully stocked with all necessities and had a warm cozy atmosphere. If you plan to bring a boat to explore the lake, make sure you reach out to the host prior to your visit so they can provide a launch pass. Definitely would recommend this cabin.

Stayed Sep 2, 2024There was a group of five of us staying at this cabin. We had the best time! It was gorgeous and we felt so secluded. We had a great time cooking dinner with the grill, hanging out outside, using the hot tub, etc. Would love to come back and stay again!
