Secluded Smokies Cabin | Hot Tub and Arcade

Our stay at Mountain Mist Cabins was exceptional. The cabin was very clean, thoughtfully appointed, and provided everything we needed for a comfortable and relaxing getaway. We especially enjoyed the hot tub and spending evenings by the fire pit, it made for a perfect way to unwind after hiking! My kids loved the arcade games as well.The host was very communicative, and the check-in and check-out process was seamless. The location was ideal, just minutes from Great Smoky Mountains National Park and conveniently close to several excellent restaurants.We highly recommend this cabin and look forward to returning in the future.

Loved the cabin. It was spacious and clean and had plenty of privacy. It was up the hill by itself which we were super glad we didn’t have immediate neighbors. The hot tub was great, the fireplace, and fire pit area was nice as well. The cabin provided several necessities as well.

This cabin was perfect for our stay. It had everything we needed and more. The hot tub was great on the cool nights! We had no issues with anything not working properly. We would definitely stay here again.

Our stay at the cabin was wonderful! We really enjoyed the fire pit and hot tub, and on our last night had a movie night in the cozy living room with fireplace. Sleeping spaces were very comfortable. Mostly we couldn’t believe how conveniently located the cabin was—we didn’t plan that when we booked it so it was a very pleasant surprise. SO close to restaurants and grocery stores, visitor centers, Tuckaleechee caverns, etc. We would absolutely stay here again and hope to in the future!

This is a beautiful cabin in a wonderful location! It is very close to the main road in Townsend and thus about as close as one can stay near Cades Cove, and yet it is isolated on a hill with no other residences visible when in the cabin or on the spacious porch.

We enjoyed our stay very much. everything was very, clean, nicely decorated and provided everything we needed. Comfortable beds, great showers and cozy set up. We hiked Spruce Flats Falls, toured Tuckaleechee Caverns, visited Dollywood and played Hillbilly Putt Putt in Gatlinburg. I was so tired and sore that the hot tub was a real savior! We saw a black bear outside the cabin, which our kids throughly enjoyed! Close access to many activities. Bring a swimsuit because no store in Townsend sells them!

This was our 2nd stay this year in this amazing cabin. Its in a great location - peaceful with gorgeous views. The cabin itself is spacious, equipped with everything you need and spotlessly clean. Has a great wrap-around porch with hot tub, picnic table and rocking chairs to enjoy a relaxing evening. Derek was also a great host!

Just what we asked for. Family had a great time as we enjoyed the sites and the AD National truck show.

My husband and I were very pleased with the cabin and location. It had everything we needed for our stay. Even though there are cabins close by, it felt secluded and private. We enjoyed being able to rest and relax while in Townsend, and the hot tub was great! The driveway to this cabin is a bit steep(just some information to know). We hope to visit again in the future.

Very satisfied with the listing accuracy and the speedy response from the owners. When we arrived, the check in was incredibly easy, and the cabin was clean and stocked as described. The jacuzzi and fireplace were definitely a nice touch being winter time. Overall, a very nice stay and glady recommend. This is a open floor plan smaller cabin though, so sound travels. Do not expect privacy as you can talk at regular volume throughout and hear everything. The only thing i would suggest is maybe softer higher quality mattresses as they were a bit stiff and loud spring mattresses Just a recommendation.

The place was exactly what we hoped for. The privacy was what we enjoyed most as you can't be seen by nearby residences.

The cabin is located at the top of a rather large hill, surrounded by trees. Very private and secluded. Everything was clean, and although located in the middle of woods, not a single bug was seen inside the cabin. Loved the hot tub. Towels were thick and lush. Convenient to get to the national park.

Great place for some peace and quiet, yet close enough could go see the sights if you wanted to.

Location to Townsend was favorable and being at the top of the drive, very private. Check in/out easy. We found several dirty dishes and pans put back in the cabinets, communicated with Derek and he responded very promptly. We discovered we had left an item, communicated again with Derek and the item was found and returned. Excellent communication!

This cabin was conveniently located to a grocery store, and restaurants, while not being in a busy area. It was stocked with ample necessities for our stay. Very clean, with comfortable beds. There is a clean, operating laundry room at the entry of the property, not within the cabin itself. There was a charcoal grill, not gas. I'd stay here again!
