The place is amazing!! Everything was clean and ready for us upon arrival. We had to contact the host due to power being out and they responded immediately. He looked into it and found out it was an area wide outage but always kept in contact with us. Overall I give it 10/10!!

Great place to stay! Cabin was perfect for 2, very nice inside and great views outside...especially in the mornings with the mountain view out through the back windows. Very convenient to everything you'd want to see/do/eat. Highly recommend and will definitely stay here again.

Cabin was clean, cozy and the hot tub was a great way to end the busy, adventurous days! Waking up in the morning to the view of mountains was a nice way to start the day. Highly recommend this place!

Great secluded location not far away from the hustle & bustle of Piegon Forge & Gatlinburg. Excellent communication with host. Cabin is well appointed & looks like the pictures. Very relaxing.

I booked Lazy Bear Cabin as a gift for my son and daughter-in-law’s honeymoon. The cabin itself was beautiful, cozy, and in a peaceful setting. It was exactly what I hoped for them. Unfortunately, their experience was overshadowed by a serious bed bug issue.The hosts did respond quickly and sent Orkin out to assess and treat the problem. However, by Friday morning they woke up covered in bites and itching badly. While packing to leave, they even saw two more bugs, showing the problem was not resolved. They spent part of their honeymoon washing and sanitizing all of their belongings and the bedding in the cabin to prevent spreading the infestation. This is not how anyone wants to spend such a special trip.They are now having to continue treating their clothing and personal items at home, which has been stressful and uncomfortable. I understand that the hosts can only do so much from afar, but bed bugs typically take several professional treatments to fully eliminate. This cabin clearly needs a more thorough and ongoing extermination before being rented again.It is disappointing that such a memorable occasion turned into this kind of experience. The cabin is truly lovely, but the bed bug problem made what should have been a relaxing honeymoon a very unpleasant one.

Had mice or rats fighting in the wall all night and they just made excuses.

The cabin was great. Location is secluded, but the driveway is difficult to maneuver if you have a large SUV. If you are not used to driving on narrow mountain roads you may find this location a bit frustrating. In general the location was a short distance to everything and we loved it. Host was very responsive. Hot tub was fabulous.

Love this cabin, very clean, love the fact you have the hot tub out on deck and and jacuzzi upstairs. Very secluded so peaceful host was excellent as well.

Very quiet, beautiful scenery and cozy! Had a lot of fun playing pool and sitting in the hot tub and jacuzzi. Also clean, but the shower tub was clogged. Bring your own toilet paper, paper towels, detergent and dish washer tablets, because there was only enough to do one load of laundry and one load of dishes. Other than that, it was a very nice place to get away as a couple.

We had a quiet, peaceful and relaxing stay. The cabin is very secluded. The hot tub and jacuzzi tub were both wonderful. The cabin had everything we needed. I would highly recomend this cabin for a nice getaway, it's perfect for a couple. We can't wait to come back again!!

The cabin was decorated so cute and you feel like you are home. It has everything you need and more. This was our first time using Vrbo and i ask the owner a question and they got back to us quickly and very nice about it. If you like peace and quiet this is the place for you.

My wife and I spent a long weekend celebrating our anniversary. The cabin was nice and clean. Hot tub was relaxing with a nice view. Great proximity to both Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge. I didn't think the lane to the cabin was too bad but my wife didn't enjoy it. The only hiccup was that the door code we were given did not work. A quick call to the owner rectified the issue.

This was a nice little place and we enjoyed it very much!

The house was beautiful and well maintained. Not much storage space but that was not much of an issue. Entry into the driveway was an adventure. You cross traffic on a 90 degree turn into a driveway you can't see. There are reflective markers that provide an adequate target but it still feels like you are driving off the side of the mountain. But there is great privacy there with a very private deck.

My husband and I booked this cabin as a getaway for a few days from our stressful work and home life. We couldn’t have been more pleased with our experience! First of all, the cabin itself is SO darling and perfect for a couples getaway. It’s quiet and peaceful and has beautiful views. The hosts were very responsive and so attentive when we had to send a few messages. We will definitely be booking this sweet little cabin again!

This cabin was absolutely perfect! It had everything we needed, was so clean and up to date, the location was amazing! My husband and I spent a long weekend there on Valentine’s Day. This cabin was absolutely gorgeous and was very secluded. Everything was very clean and the owners were very responsive. The only thing a little hairy for us was the mountain drive in our truck. It would be better to have a smaller vehicle, maybe an SUV, but then again we are city people unaccustomed to mountain drives. I have no complaints about this property.

Our stay was absolutely amazing. Beautiful cabin for a couple getaway tucked away in its own little spot. They had a snow storm prior to our arrival and the Hosts reached out to us to warn us and help us with any changes that may have happened (we made it onto the property just fine). The host also was in constant communication with us due to another snowstorm coming through towards the end of our trip. They were amazing through the whole trip and so was the cabin! This cabin and the hosts were by far the best experience I’ve had on the multiple trips to Gatlinburg I’ve taken! We will definitely be booking with them again for any future trips to the smokies!
