There are trails but not directly off the property. They’re about ten minutes from the cabin if you want to drive. There's a lot of state land, a lot of trails and dirt roads. From the cabin, turn left onto Flick Rd towards Lehman Rd. At the stop, turn right down Lehman Rd and after a short distance, right at Gap Rd. Approximately two to three miles up that road you can access all the trails on state land.

We loved this place. The cabin was really nice; well kept and clean. We loved the open space concept on the first floor. The cabin was equipt with all we needed, a full kitchen, silverware, knives of many kinds to prepare and eat food, pottery, and dishes; liquid soap for dishes and hands. The bathrooms were amazing, I love the rustic shower design on the first floor. The laundry room, inside the bathroom on the first floor, was really nice and handy. The second-floor bathroom was also very nice. Both bathrooms came with all we needed to bath, towels, and toiletries included. The bedrooms were also nice and clean, everything in here was very clean. Second-floor steps were very easy to use. The outside of the property was equally nice and clean; well-kept, we enjoy the fire pit that came with firewood included. The Cabin also had a nice gas grill, that... you guessed it, it came with utensils and propane fuel included. Peace and quiet is what this cabin is all about. We Loved it so much. The one thing about is that the house is located somehow deep into the road; nevertheless, that gave us the opportunity to experience the town's culture even if it was from inside our car; the local people were very nice and friendly to us. We did not walk the trails, even though we that that option, we did not see any wildlife such as bears or mountain lions. We saw birds and insects and of course the town's livestock that included horses, cows and chickens. We'll be back.
This is a nice getaway in the middle of nowhere!!
This stay was amazing and my family loved it so much. It made my visit with my daughter who lives near by, a family experience with a home away from home feel. The cabin was amazing and beautiful inside and location was so relaxing. I would recommend this cabin and location to all and will be returning for another stay.
Great spot on mountain.
We had a wonderful time at the cabin and found it to be very clean and well appointed. The communication was excellent! It was a beautiful trip out to the cabin through lots of farms. The only drawback was that it was a little bit further than we had originally thought.
All of us had a great time. The area around the cabin was nice to look at and the cabin felt like home.
We had an amazing time here! The cabin was gorgeous! Our host was quick to reply to messages if we had any questions. Everything looked brand new and clean. I would love to come back in warmer weather to enjoy the fire pit outside!
Everything was excellent for this secluded getaway in the mountains of pennsylvania. A very newly remodeled large cabin with everything you could need. Less disappointed that it was a gas fireplace and not a real fireplace but enjoyed it very much. The management was good
